I was not given the option to pay part of a day or advised that it was possible to pay for parking by the hour. All indicatiosn were that it was a daily rate only.
When I came to remove my car from the car park the attendant (sorry - Parking Hostess?) had not the first clue how to process my ticket to get my car out. Pressing the help key on the pay machine rendered the response "my collegaue is not here at the moment and I don't know what to do. Please wait" This person seemed to indicate that I may have to wait for a very long time.
In the end the Parking Hostess spoke to someone on the phone and we managed to figure out how to pretend I had lost my ticket and get a ticket out of the machine to exit the car park.
It took me approximately 30 minutes to retrieve my car. An absolutely appalling experience and more expensive than if I had just turned up and paid at the barrier.
Under no circumstances would I recommend or use BCP again.
