Set a fabulous benchmark for other stores to strive for
Usually I buy from wherever's cheapest. Unless it's something really expensive, in which case I'll buy it from somewhere reputable.
Park Cameras do both. And their customer service is meticulous - emails answered promptly and professionally. What's more, all their customer service operations seem to be based in the UK, so you know that your query is being taken seriously and being acted upon.
I really hope that Park Cameras are around for a long time. Sure you can buy their goods for a few quid less from Tel Aviv via eBay, but then you'd be missing out on Park Cameras' excellent commitment to customer satisfaction.
Always recommend to friends.

Very helpful. Very persistent, in a good way. Recommended.
I had a technical failure on a piece of equipment I'd bought about 4 months after I'd purchased it, no fault of Park Cameras.
First of all I could not find my receipt but they were able to find my receipt on their system quickly and cheerfully, which was relief. Thanks to Kate.
They then worked on my behalf to secure an exchange rather than repair because of the technical circumstances involved. The manufacturer were out of that model but between my discussions with the manufacturer and Park's petitioning the makers on my behalf as well we were able to sort the problem and they supplied me with the uprated model, which was nice.
It took a couple of weeks but Mark in Park Camera's service dept persisted and deserves a to be recognised for this, it was much appreciated.
So well done to Mark and Kate, I shall l certainly be looking to buy more kit from Park Cameras when I need it.

Exceptional service!
I used Park Cameras last week and had a problem buying online (my own mistake!), I rang their phone number and spoke to Beth who was very cheerful and professional and was able to complete my order over the phone for me. Order was delivered on time and complete with no hassle and no problems.
I called again to ask for some additional help with my purchases. Again I spoke to Beth who was incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
It's a real pleasure dealing with this company and the level of customer care is very reassuring - I will be using them again for sure!

Excellent service and quality products
Got fingers burned ordering from a cheap camera website selling imports and had a nervous week waiting for £1500 to be refunded. Decided to look for a more reputable dealer and found Park Cameras.
They have a landline phone number, address, and are obviously experienced camera sales people.
I instantly felt reassured by the lady (Julie) I spoke to on the phone who was knowledgeable and helpful - she was also clearly in control of the sale and had all information in her head. She gave me some discount and assured me the camera and lens would be here the following day. It arrived as promised, well packaged, with everything working and correct. A truly fantastic retail experience for something very expensive.
All their stock is UK goods and though you may have to pay a little more than the import sites it is actually worth it for peace of mind. If they say they have it in stock then they have it. These other import sites will take your money and promise they have the stock even if they do not, expecting you to wait (hence 14 day delivery times - time for them to buy it, import it, then ship to you).
Would highly recommend and will know where to go in the future.

Park Cameras are no 'box shifters' !
My first experience with Park camera made an hour journey from Rustington very worthwhile, with knowledgeable staff, good choice of products. I am a customer service manager for a large retailer and very happy to give positive feedback on a great store. Second time I used the website to order online. Same experience, knowledgeable staff on the phone and the order was delivered on time.

Excellent customer service
Popped into Park Cameras as wanted advice on a Christmas gift & to check out prices. All staff were extremely helpful & not pushy to get a sale either. Will definitely return to make my purchase, as so refreshing to get such good service.

Excellent in every way
Wonderful staff who take the time to find out exactly what you need rather than selling you something you might want but will never use.
Their product knowledge was second to none, and they took the time to make me feel like a valued customer who has shopped there for years rather than just somebody who has walked in for the first time.

Shocking service.
Shocking company, will never use again. When they eventually want to ship you goods, they will call you late on aFriday afternoon and want copies of paper driving licenses, utility bills etc. irrelevant that you are work and cant do this so they cant ship. What a joke. They even called the day before saying they were going to ship but did not mention the farce that is to ensue.

Need more training
Very poor customer service in person. Didn't know the products, couldn't demonstrate, condescending to older female customer. Rude sales people

Always helpful and very good value
I've used Park Cameras for a few years now, and bought several cameras, lenses and accessories from them. They are always well informed and helpful (unlike some high street chains I could mention) and their prices are always amongst the lowest around.
I've had the occasional abrupt conversation on the phone, which is the one area I think could be slightly improved. Generally they have been great if I've had any problems.
A really good independent camera store.

Very Efficient!
After much research on which lenses I wanted, I decided to buy from Park Cameras, but as I have never bought from them I thought I would check TrustPilot. I found that there are a few bad reviews and I did think twice about buying from them.
Anyway, I thought I would give them a go, as they are recommended on the Nikon site - I shouldn't have had any doubts, ordered very early on Monday morning and the lens arrived Tuesday! They were brilliantly packed, no damaged boxes.
Will definitely recommend and buy from again.

Absolutely not organised and a ruined Christmas
First of all, ordered and didn't give me a link to post to another dress, this was a present for Christmas, called in and cancelled the order as they told me to order using paypal so i could use another address to post too.
Done as they said and next day nothing, two cameras were sent to the wrong address, after calling them yet again Ivan the person dealing with me was rather rude thinking it was my mistake but I done exactly as I was told to do.
After a check he was very apologetic saying it was a rare case and that it would be sorted out and he would redeliver one camera to me and the other back to them, I told them I would need this urgently and that it was not still with City Link and was delivered to the wrong address.
He mentioned the delivery guy still had them, they did not so so after mentioning that it wasn't he said he would give me a call back to let me know the status of it as he is sure they would go back and pick it up.
They did not pick it up and I did not receive a call back from Ivan. I have not received a camera and I find the system they have a mess.
I would not consider using them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Very Good

Very disappointing service
Ordered camcorder for next day delivery (What should be possible if you place the order before 4:30pm?) and guess what, saying that they are very sorry but that city-link scheduled the delivery for after weekend. That was for sure the last time that I used there service as I have now the hassle to get one somewhere else as I need urgently for this weekend a camcorder.
I will buy the next time again to amazon or a local shop as you can trust them to get the job done correctly.

the best online camera shop - excellent service - comprehensive range
i have bought many items from this store over the past few years: cameras, lenses, filters, bags, accessories...
the service is always fantastic; delivery is fast; any phone query is answered promptly. if an item is not in stock, the company phones me and lets me know when it will be available.
i have also traded in goods and found the company to be fair and fast in its price offer.
the range on offer is very comprehensive and the goods are of superb quality.
in short, the best online supplier of photographic goods in my opinion!
