Needed to order carbon filters for my hob extractor which I didn't realise weren't included. I just typed in the make and model of my extractor and the correct filters were displayed, making it a simple matter of ordering online. They were delivered on time to my work address as requested. Couln't have been easier.
Was initially impressed by the text system that "keeps you fully informed" as to the progress of the package. I received a text at 0650hrs to say that the package would be delivered within a two hour window, that day but with options if that did not suit! I replied via text, requesting it be postponed until the next day. Got a text at 0720hrs, stating that my request had been processed and that delivery was rescheduled for next day.
I received a further text as I was leaving the house to inform me that the package would be delivered that day between 0959hrs and 1159hrs, including the drivers name. I quickly placed a notice on the door, requesting that delivery be made to number 26, and left.
Just after mid-day I received a further text stating that the package had been delivered to number 32! When we returned home we found two notes through the letterbox, giving the same information!
Good news is that we got the package and have fitted the part! Seems a very elaborate system when the cards through the door did the same job!
UNFORTUNATELY THE ITEM PURCHASED WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE APPLIANCE. I HAVE RETURNED THE ITEM PERSONALLY, BY HAND , TO YOUR BORDESLEY GREEN ROAD DEPOT, YESTERDAY. IN VIEW OF THIS I DO NOT EXPECT TO HAVE A DELIVERY CHARGE DEDUCTED FROM MY REFUND.

Awful. The camera lead was the wrong size even though it was clealy advertised for my exact model on the website. Now have to return, and wait at least 7 days for a refund. Customer Service operative was great but will not use company again.
Some years ago, we bought a small, white wood Christmas tree from Homebase. We couldn't always get the replacement bulbs, particularly the fuse bulb. Then, this year, a search on the internet brought Partmaster to the fore. We ordered the bulbs and they were delivered promptly.
Now the Christmas tree is illuminated in our shop window - MacGillivray's in Helensburgh. My husband fitted the bulbs and took the tree, complete in its original packaging to put it up in the shop. As he carried the packaging to the window, a small box dropped out of the bottom of the cardboard box - opening it, he found the Christmas baubles which should have been suspended around the tree over the last few Christmases!
If we hadn't ordered the spare bulbs from Partmaster, we wouldn't have found the extra Christmas decorations and we wouldn't have had such a laugh at ourselves for having an underdressed Christmas tree all these years. Our shop's Christmas window is looking much more festive into the bargain.
The only thing I would like to highlight is the picture quality of some products on website. A bit picky I know, but some of the clear fridge shelves etc were very difficult to see because the contrast was poor. I ended up having to guess if it was deffinately the one I wanted. Thankfully I was correct.
However no complaints about speed & efficiency of service.
Needed laptop battery on a Friday afternoon and part was delivered by lunchtime on Saturday - briliiant. Even better was the tracking system that let me know within an hour slot when the delivery would be made and allowed me to track the location of my package progress in real time on the road. Very impressive.
Paid extra for next day as dryer was broken and had the day off to repair. After receiving in good time part packed in a cardboard envelope and bent. Had to bend into shape in vice to get machine working. Asked for new part to be sent to make good repair later even though I would have to spend more time doing the job again and partmaster would not send. I would have to take out old part from my machine first for refund or buy again and send back later for refund. Very poor service from start to finish!
Ordered a battery for my cordless phone.
Paid through the nose for delivery (more than the actual price of the battery).
When it came it was faulty, so I had to send it back.
I am still waiting for an explanation, a refund, a replacement (free of charge, including free delivery).
I won't be ordering anything from you again.

This is the second element I've bought from partmaster for my dad's electric oven. I thought that it was around a year and a half ago, but when I checked my emails, it turned out that it was three and a half! Not bad for around twelve quid and an oven which receives VERY heavy use. I couldn't remember exactly which part it was, so, although I thought it a bit of a long shot, I entered the tracking number on the website. It still came up with my original order! Thirty seconds later, the part was re-ordered and the increase in cost was less than two pounds. In summary- quality of part, cost of part and the fact the website retained my details after three and a half years? Top-notch. Would not hesitate to use again and will definitely recommend. The part wasn't brand-name, just the generic replacement. Quality and value.
