Gateway procedure efficient, but quality of products and aftersales questionable!

No issues with the selling procedure through Parts Gateway. All quotes came in within 24 hours and queries were answered. However, I would say that after-sales needs strengthening considerably, at least with the company I opted to place my order, as well as the quality of the product.. I know these are refurbished parts but I would have expected the part to have been 100 % serviceable on receipt. In fact the part was defective. I am in the middle of negotiating a replacement from the same firm. As the delivery costs are not cheap, especially with relatively heavy parts, it is a costly business having to return defective parts and makes one question the wisdom in going for reconditioned parts over new..
