I regularly use paypal when purchasing online. It is so simple to do and I feel safe doing it this way.

A great way to pay

PayPal for the average buyer, without going through the bank verification process, works very well.
It is my preferred method of paying on Ebay and also with other suppliers.
They dealt with one problem very quickly with an immediate refund. The Customer Services are very helpful as well.

Bill Me Later - Do Not Apply or Use Them

Do not use Bill Me Later. I tried it. The note said $10 back on your first purchase of any amount. I did not get $10 back on an $85 purchase. They said the purchase did not qualify. There were no qualifications noted in their offer. They also said I could pay my bill me later account with Paypal. That didn't work either. Seems kind of foolish anyway. The only way to pay with Paypal was to give them your banking information. I do not trust them and will not do any more business with them. Why did Paypal hook up with such a company?

If Paypal were needing a kick in the butt, I would lend them my foot or boot and drop kick them straight to hell...they should not be connected to Ebay and are worthless and not responsive to customer needs at all...they are a useless entity and DON'T EVER USE THEM...

Simple to sign up, easy to use, secure in that your finicial information is not shared. Safeguards for both the seller and buyer that insure the best possible transactions.

The worst support!

If you forget your Paypal password worst support ever for retrieving it, worst system to retrieve it and then they stop you from accessing your account forever. Never mind about the money you still have in there! I will never use Paypal again!

Love the up to date info but never too many emails. Always easy to use and makes me feel secure. I trust this site more than any and that is a trait which is very sparse nowerdays.

rigid and monopolising

had an issue with paypal relating to a payment over ebay. ebay seller had failed to deliver goods i had paid for during a time ebay told buyer to be more patient because of winter weather conditions. time elapsed and paypal wouldn't take my problem on a case by case basis, only referring to policy, policy, policy. everything is fine with this company if you play by their rules.

Paypal makes life much easier.

Most everyone accepts Paypal now, and I love the ease of buying and paying with Paypal.

My card number slipped out

Within an hour of using Paypal somebody else had charged an airline ticket to my card. "BUT IT WASN"T THEIR FAULT"!

Automatically select Bill Me Later as payment method!!!

PayPal needs to clean up their act! It's long overdue!
I attempted to make a payment with my credit card but I was never given a chance to select my preferred payment method! Instead, PayPal defaulted to THEIR preferred payment method 'Bill Me Later - a PayPal company'! How ridiculous! Oh, and just try to get someone at the company to correct their error; good luck!

I find Paypal an easy and safe way to pay for services and products. It is quick and convenient with the knowledge that your payment is protected. A safety net should problems be encountered.

Very expensive, terrible in a dispute... they automatically take the side of the buyer every time, & ignore any evidence sent to them!

I use e.bay and always pay through pay-pal.
I feel that this is a safe way to make a payment.
On one occassion l had a dispute, as l had used pay-pal, my monies were paid back to me.

What's bad to say?

There isn't anything I can think of to say negatively about paypal.
It's safe, fast, useful, and easy. You follow the instruction to setup your account. The process of hooking up your bank account is good because it will prevent people from making fake accounts to pay non-existing money. Also with all the transactions logged and recorded, you're always protected and can prove evidence if you're ever scammed. I think this is the best payment option via internet for anyone including shoppers, travelers, gamers and more! I 100% recommend paypal to anyone and everyone!

Thanks to paypal I can order anything I want and with no trouble when paying for my items. Its safe and easy to use. I no longer need to check my credit card number every time I have to pay for something. All I need to do is enter my e-mail and password and paypal will transfer my transaction in a safe manner. If on a site I cannot pay with paypal then I will not risk buying from them. Paypal has helped me make online shopping a fun and safe experience :) It's the best!!!

I’m a happy user of paypal, but i think the rates you charge is too high.

It’s also a hassle to send in documents etc. when you have to rais eyour limit. I remember sending tonnes of documents that culd not be approved because the documents needed bu paypal do not exist in denmark. So some work has to be done in this field to not loose customers.

Useful but itchy on the security

I find Paypal to be useful and reliable for paying for goods on-line (where it saves a lot of hassle filling out your credit card details all the time) and I can trust that it is secure. I also like to use it to pay money to people sometimes, like rent to my landlord. The only complain is not too bad, but I wish their security was a little less knee-jerk. I go abroad often and when I am out of the country sometimes security measures stop things from happening. It is a reasonable security measure but can be a bit annoying. Doesn't stop me from using though by any means.
