Despite over 10 calls to call centre requesting refunds for parcels that were not collected, I am informed that only one person can action the refunds. I feel so sorry for the guys who are recieving the complaints because its clear that its the manager that is not refunding our money.
Do not use this company!!!!
I sent some ugg boots via DHL using ppp. The boots never arrived & it turns out in the end that the DHL delivery driver had stole the boots & then quit his job when he was rumbled...as told by a ppp lady. it took months & months and MANY of hours on the phone to finally get a refund of the cost of the boots-not the shipping costs though???!! Apperently only one person can issue a refund as she/he took alot of holidays during my time trying to get a refund!! A disgrace, both them and DHL/YODEL!!
Waited for 2 days for them to collect a parcel on Dec 14th, only to be told they "haven't collected parcel because they are inundated".
I appreciate you are busy, after all it is Christmas, but i paid for next day delivery!!!
Anyway, today is the 6th January and I am spending at least 30 mins a day chasing them for a refund of £8.84 that apparently only their "director can refund". This "director" cannot be contacted either, so if you need a refund...good luck as I am still waiting!!!
Don't answer queries after losing my one and only parcel order with them, blame courier even though contract with them and they were paid directly. Tracking number doesn't track.
Have been fobbed off more times than an MP and still no resolve - receipt customer going nuts.
BTW PPP enjoy the review and sort yourselves out!
I had a parcel lost in France and the PayPerParcel team did their upmost to find it. In the end I had to wait for the claim and it was resolved in 8 weeks. The value was based on the CMR rate but to be fair this is common knowledge. Not sure you can take DHL or PayPerParcel to court as they state the liability in their terms. All couriers riddle out of this sadly I had a worse situation with Parcel2go if this forum is about name blaming.
They lost my parcel in August (100 pounds worth). They blame everything on DHL. That's been 6 month that they won't give me a refund (even for the shipment - not talking about the items). When I talk to them their only answer is: "we will find out with our claims department and let you know". Of course, they do not let you know anything. I had to go to court - I don't expect anymore that PeyPerParcel would be able to resolve the problem.
I unfortunately had to cancel an order I had made with payperparcel because I needed the delivery to arrive sooner than they could provide for. I asked for the refund to be made onto my credit card with which I had paid. This needs approval by their Director. 5 weeks and 6 phone calls later this has still not be actioned by him. The customer service staff are polite and helpful but the Director has never taken the steps to make a simple refund. He is always out and never available to take a direct phone call. I have been given several dates by which the Director will apparently arrange the refund. Every single date given has passed with no action taken and the amount still remains outstanding. In view of the shocking standard of service and the extent to which I have had to chase this with no result, I would not be prepared to use this company again.
I recently sold some larger items on e-bay and found that Royal mail were too expensive, so I started searching for courier services. There didn't seem to be much to choose between all the services, interparcel, parcel monkey and parcel2go seemed to have mixed reviews, so I decided to try payperparcel who had very few independent reviews which I figured may be because there was nothing to complain about. It seems as though people generally only review a company if they have had a bad experience.
On three occasions now I have booked a collection with payperparcel on an evening and chosen economy delivery 48 DHL (1 to 3 days) which costs £8:10 inc vat and it has always been collected on the next morning and arrived at it's destination the next working day.
The website and booking system is very easy to use and you can pay with PayPal if required, ideal if you have sold your item on e-bay.
