They send me Dead On Arrival UPS and they refered me to manufacturer to seek advise on replacement! Decide for yourself
following your reply: contacted the manufacturer and it takes 3-5 working days to replace a faulty UPS, not as you stated "ON-SITE next day" As for DOA item I would expect replacement from the supplier, not seeking manufacturer warranty !

The UPS sold a Brand New Factory sealed APC BK650ei, is sold with a 2 year on-site warranty direct with APC. In response to our customers email stating the unit arrived and had a flashing red light, we suggested this may need charging or if not they contact APC on 0800 279 9254 (FREEPHONE) quoting the serial number from the back of the unit, who would in turn diagnose the fault and replace ON-SITE next day if required. We have had no further communication with regard to this issue. I fail to see why the negative 1 star feedback is derseved. If you see this as a supplier negating their customer service this is certainly not the case, where we sell an item with an on-site warranty we would expect the customer to invoke this warranty service as is normal. Where the customer no longer wants the product or does not want to invoke the on-site warranty themselves for what ever reason we would expect some communication to say otherwise so we can rectify the issue.
I agree with the updated feedback 3-5 working days is NOT acceptable or within the terms of the on-site warranty, however you have given us no opportunity to rectify the problem other than a negative feedback, we would have expected some communication to state this so we could rectify the problem
