Perfect, nothing I would change!

I chose all the components of my gaming PC and clicked order around half four on a Monday evening. My PC was here by half three on the Friday of the same week! The PC is in perfect condition, packaging was all fantastic! You could not ask for a better service! The PC runs fantastically and is expertly built. If you are not sure whether to go ahead and buy, please do you WILL NOT REGRET IT! Thank you PC Specialist for an awesome PC and an even more awesome service!

Slick and professional service

Very pleased with the communication and speak of process from order placement to delivery. My 2 gropes are that my first quote wasn't retrievable for some reason, and that I have unknowingly ended up speccing my machine with no WiFi compatibility. This is where the site could be more user friendly to less technically knowledgeable customers such as myself. I now need to purchase a separate WiFi USB solution and wait for that to arrive before setting the machine up properly.

Professional and fast service at unbeatable price.

This was my second pc from pc specialist and my old one is still going strong with no hardware failure after 3+ years, even if I was to build one myself the price would only be slightly cheaper, with the added risk of messing something up and breaking hardware, everything gets checked and bedded In to make sure nothing fails.

I will always use pc specialist for my future custom pc's because they can't be beat for price and service!

Can not build them yourself as cheap!

I have been building PCs for over 10 years and it has always been the cheapest option, until now. I can not buy the parts cheaper, let alone build them and put an OS on. Excellent, speedy service.

Amazing value for trustworthiness

I just got my computer from these guys and I have to say this computer is most likely the best thing I've ever owned computer wise in my life.

It didn't take very long at all for the computer to get here, once I ordered it I had a friend tell me I may have to wait for up to a month but they got it to me very quickly, it only took PCSpecialist 6 days to build my rig.

The packaging which the computer came in was amazing! It was definitely in safe hands while being delivered.

After I got the system all set up I was able to get a clear 100 FPS on ultra playing World of Warcraft.

Overall I am extremely happy with this computer I would recommending using this website to everyone that is interested.

Computer Buying Made Easy

PC Specialist was recommended to me by a family member after I mentioned the problems I'd had trying to buy a computer on the high street. Initially I had some concerns about building my own as I felt that my limited knowledge would let me down when it came to selecting the various components and that the service offered would be geared towards those that were looking to buy a top spec computer - which I certainly wasn't. I needn't have worried on either count, and had I been more trusting of all the excellent testimonals from satisfied customers on the web-site I could have saved myself an awful lot of wasted time in various retail premises listening to sales assistants giving me confusing and conflicting advice.

I had no problems at all using PC Specialist's on-line configuation and once I'd decided on the type of processor the rest fell easily into place. Placing and paying for my order was straightforward. When I telephoned the next day to seek advice about adding something extra into the build the person I spoke to was extremely helpful and my order was amended without problem. Several of the testimonials on the web-site made mention of the helpful un-biased advice and although I didn't feel the need to make contact when choosing the various components I have no doubt that had I needed some assistance this would have been willingly given. A word of warning though to anyone paying by credit card - a 2% surcharge is added to the bill to cover admin charges. This is clearly mentioned in the payment options, so there can be no complaints but it is something that needs to be factored in if you are on a tight budget .

I was able to track progress of my order on-line and the arrangements made for delivery were top class with a one hour delivery slot given. Everything was perfectly packaged and most important for me, set up was trouble free. My computer was up and running only 8 days after I placed my order. I have no complaints at all.

Ordered a wireless card and got very helpful advice, prompt delivery and great technical support to assist me in fitting the card to my PC. And the call waiting times are excellent.

PC Specialist have yet again proven themselves a master of the craft of the custom pc, all they have to do now is start modding the cases and its the complete package for the PC enthusiast!

Excellent product!

Personally i have a lack of knowledge when it comes to building computers but PC Specialist is a perfect way to go if your in a similar situation.

My rig cost me just under £1000 and consisted of a very good CPU, 3gb Graphics card and 8gb of RAM.

The product on arrival was well packed to keep it safe and required minimal hassle to get myself up and running. The OS was already pre-installed and all drivers were up to date. Since then i have never looked back.

A quality product at a very competitive price. They also have a great upgrade service if you find your starting to lag behind. Definitely a must from me.

Awesome

I have owned several laptops and desktops and the one I bought from PC specialist is by far the best. So fast at startup it's a blink and you miss it thing.

When I ordered it, the tracking system was amazing. Received regular updates on what stage the order was at. It did take a few days to go through the pre production phase but I would rather they took time and care building rather than rushing it through.

Delivery was quick and on time. I ordered a new monitor after the original order to keep up with the gaming rig.

My advice...order from here you won't be disappointed!

Vortex IV - excellent laptop!

It arrived this morning and first impressions are great! I was initially a bit apprehensive on buying a clevo chassis since I had read a few negative reviews regarding the quality of the chassis but the chassis looks well finished and durable which is important. I love the backlit keyboard and the position of the keys in the keyboard is great.
I was also extremely grateful to the excellent customer service provided by Mooseh before placing my order and during the whole process afterwards. Thank you PCS!!

Flexible Build process and lots of options

I needed a very specific build which could not be realised anywhere else I looked.
Very satisficed with the end result, a small quiet PC with, for now, a decent spec to last the next 3 years or so.
It is virtually silent.

Superb service and on schedule too

PC Specialist was exceptionally easy to use and I also got great feedback from them. I would definitely recommend them.

Fast, efficient, and friendly service, will use again!

Great service, laptop arrived on time and haven't encountered any major problems. Had a problem with the windows installer but this is quite common and can occur with any operating system.

Ordered my PC on a Sunday and received it following Saturday, was kept informed through every stage of construction of the PC and if when I had quires they responded very fast with the answered i was looking for.

Fantastic service - slight hiccup through website was quickly picked up

PC Specialist was a brilliant find. I needed a new PC and didn't want to go through the hassle of buying separate parts and building it myself. I built the PC through the website, checked all the compatibility, signed up to the finance deals without an issue and ordered.

I paid extra to have the PC built slightly quicker but it was still done in two days. I was very impressed that I was able to track the stages it was going through on the website as well.

I even changed the PSU part way through the build and this was sorted out for me with very little fuss. Highly recommended.

PC returned three times - fault still not rectified

I feel sad to post an uncomplimentary review of a company that has received such glowing reviews from other people. I must assume that I have just been very unlucky.
This is regarding my custom-built PC ordered from PC Specialist. I must confess that I had assumed that being a company that solely builds PCs to customer specifications this would be a problem-free procedure. I assembled my build then emailed them to ensure that it suited the purpose of playing Guild Wars 2 on the web.
On 23 April I received delivery of my new PC.
Seven days later it was on its way back to PC Specialist as it continually switched itself off for no reason. It was returned to me on 8 May with no fault having been found. The PC then switched itself off approx. 12 hours after I had received it back. On 9 May I emailed technical support to let them know that a warning message appeared when booting-up saying that "the Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver or enable your AMD adapter using the displays manager". This message was acknowledged by PC Specialist who assured me that this information would be added to the fault report. It wasn’t.
I also received an email from PC Specialist Technical Support saying that “The Catalyst Control Centre is the driver for your GPU, this is required, but shouldn't have a message on startup, so they will be looking out for this.” They didn’t.
The PC was sent back to PC Specialist on 10 May and this time a faulty PSU was found. In addition to replacing the PSU a new MB RAM CPU GPU were fitted.
On 17 May I received the PC back. Within half an hour it had switched itself off. I phoned up technical support and spoke to a technician who guided me through a diagnostic procedure for twenty or so minutes. I unplugged everything apart from the power cord and monitor. I plugged the power cord directly into the wall and not into the trail-socket as previously. I then plugged the various usb connectors (mouse, internet wireless dongle) back in, but this time using different slots than previously. I plugged my keyboard into the PS/2 connector as usual. I also mentioned to the technician the Catalyst Control Center warning message. He took no notice of this. The PC worked from about 14.30 on Friday afternoon until I switched it off at 12.30 that night.
On Saturday it booted up fine and I used it until 23.30. The times throughout the day when I was not using it I put it in sleep mode. When I finished on Saturday night at 23.30 I shutdown the PC.
On Sunday morning I went to switch the machine on and it was dead. I tried unplugging the machine from the wall and then replugging but nothing - no sign of life.
On Monday 20 May I spoke to PC Specialist once more to explain why it had to go back to them. This time the technician on the phone seemed interested in the Catalyst Control Center message. He said this should appear if I had an AMD graphics card – I have an NVidia graphics card. I said that I had informed them of this message back on 9 May.
Back goes the PC for the third time. This time the fault report states: "100% rebuild of the system done. Reinstall of windows along with all latest drivers."
Sadly, I have little faith now in the PC actually working when it is returned to me. The first time the machine starts off by switching itself off – no one can find a fault. Second time back, everything is replaced but no one takes any notice of information given by me which could be helpful. All the tests that were run the first and second time and no one looked at the monitor to see the Catalyst Control Center error message? No one bothered to notice the fact that this message refers to AMD and I have NVidia?
I did mention, when I had to send the machine back the second time, about compensation for the time and money I was losing out on from the time I had to take off work in order to be in for delivery and collection by DPD. I was expecting an offer of a component upgrade. I was offered a game-pack. I don’t think that a high street store would treat their customers in such a cavalier fashion.
PC Specialist have now returned the PC to me with the following on the fault report: "100% rebuild of the system done. Reinstall of windows along with all latest drivers."
The PC worked for one day - going to restart it after shutting it down the machine was lifeless. Another chat with PC Specialist Tech Support on the phone. By holding the power button in with the machine unplugged and then re-plugging the machine it started up again. At first I was told that perhaps I was putting the machine into hibernation by mistake. I was told to switch off using only the power button. I was told to go into Safe Mode with Networking and allow the machine to stay like that for an hour. I went out and after an hour came back - the machine was dead.
Back on the phone to PC Specialist. We unplugged everything again and held the power button in. The machine restarted. I was asked if was I using a trail-socket, if so then try plugging directly into the wall socket, try using a different wall socket, try downloading HWMonitor because the temperature readings on the BIOS are within acceptable limits. It was while looking for HWMonitor on the web that the machine died while Tech Support were still on the phone with me.
I have requested a refund.

We thank you for your review and as you have stated this is most certainly a frustrating one for both parties.

We sadly believe this is environmental - on the last RMA, even though we could not get the PC to error after hours of testing and stress testing we did a full complete rebuild using only the case you originally order - this means all new components were used but you still had the exact same problem, this is more or less impossible unless it was something not inside the PC causing the issue, this is compounded even more by the fact that before on the previous RMA the system had another more or less full rebuild. This would either suggest that 3 new sets of components developed a fault (which we could not find when back here), with the exact same problem or it is something else not inside the machine.

We have granted a refund for your machine on this basis.

First choice when buying computer

I was really impressed on how reliable and fast your services were and that I got my computer within 5 working days. Ordering my computer was a bit of a problem as I am from Lithuania so I had only one option to pay by bank transfer, it took quite a lot of time. This step system on your page is perfect, it makes very easy to understand what's going on with your computer.

PC Specialist were recommended to me by a friend, I was nervous at first as I had never heard of them before. I was worried about building a custom PC as I had never even taken the side off one before but their easy to use website and smart comments for each component made things very simple indeed!

First rate service and product

I was looking for a PC and monitor specifically to improve the performance of my post-processing workflow for my photography. Having made a selection from the available options on the PC Specialist website and saved a quote, I used their online chat service to talk through my quote and my specific requirements. The sales staff I spoke to were extremely patient and helpful and, with their advice, I fine tuned the specification enough to save over £200 on the quote.
When I then placed the order, I chose the option to have the PC built using their fast track service. I placed the order on Monday afternoon. The whole order was delivered without any problem by Friday morning that same week. Throughout that week I was kept informed via text and email of the build, test and delivery progress.
I can honestly say I haven't had better service anywhere else.
As for the PC, I am very happy with it and I would definitely recommend this company and their products!

Such a shame

I bought a multi monitor PC from PC Specialist and I have to say I love the computer. The problem is with the 3 monitors. They only supplied one DP to DVI adaptor which meant that I could only use 2 monitors. When I phoned technical support thinking that I had done something wrong they said I had to buy a HDMI to DVI adaptor so that I could use the 3rd monitor?!?!?
What is the point of buying a specialist multi monitor computer when you have to buy extra things to make all the monitors work. Especially as it cost £1,600.... Such a shame. Other than this everything else has been good.
If you are buying a PC from PCSpecialist I'd recommend that you talk to them before buying so that you can ensure that everything you need is included in the pack. Just because its advertised as a multi monitor PC it doesn't mean that you get everything you need for it to work as designed.

Superb service merits recommendation to all

After hearing some very positive things about PC Specialist from a friend, I decided to order my new PC through them. I was not disappointed.
It was very easy to select the components I needed, and after proceeding with my order I was even told that I didn't need a fan as powerful as the one I had selected, which would save me some money. I thought this was a nice touch, as with my not exactly extensive knowledge of computers (I know enough to get by) I wouldn't have known how much power I needed from the fan.
Having placed the order, I was kept informed throughout the entire assembly and testing process, with PC Specialist letting me know what was happening, why it was happening, and how long it usually takes.
The item was dispatched after 8 working days, and arrived the next day. I was emailed set-up instructions regarding the monitor I had purchased, and some info regarding the installation of the Operating System. The PC was packaged very well, and came with a very informative manual which meant getting the PC up and running was a quick and painless process.
Overall, I was very impressed with the service, and would absolutely recommend PC Specialist to anyone looking the buy themselves a new computer.

excellent product, excellent service

My son wanted a new computer that could handle games like Skyrim and PC Specialist allowed him to choose exactly what components he wanted. The price was less than similar PCs available from other companies. The build and delivery were spot on time.

All round superb

Bought the Maestro AIO, with pretty much top spec on everything, needed 16 gb ram and couldn't find it anywhere else on an AIO PC, but it was easy to order everything specifically to my needs with PC Specialist. Also got an independent graphics card which again was not possible with an All In One anywhere else. The building and ordering was easy and enjoyable, and the communication was excellent every step of the way throughout the build, test and quality control, with regular emails updating me on the build progress.

Delivery was equally seamless by DPD, with emails and texts the night before and texts with exact delivery time on the day.. About the computer, well I love it, it's super fast, looks, sleek, touch screen is super responsive, and everything worked like a dream from day 1. Everything built exactly how I wanted it, and the value for money second to none. Couldn't even buy this spec out off the shelf and if I could have, it would've been twice the price.

Will definitely use PC Specialist from now on for all my future computer purchases, and highly recommend them. When it comes to computers they are experts, with top notch customer service and value.

Made very quickly, exactly what I wanted.

I have only good things to say about PC Specialist. Admittedly, the prices can be a little more than what you would pay elsewhere for a similar spec, but the reason I went with them was that I could have exactly what I wanted. No paying for stuff I don’t want while being forced to go without things I need.

The service is really good, and I got some very speedy replies to my questions when I emailed them before ordering. The build time was fantastic. I was quoted 8-10 days, but it was done in five, and I was kept constantly updated every step of the way.

Big thumbs up for sending it by DPD courier delivery as well, who don’t just tell you what day they’re going to deliver, but give you a specific one hour time slot so you’re not waiting in all day for it.
