Wunderbar. Everything is perfect.

Wouldn't hesitate to use time after time!

I had decided to purchase a laptop for myself. I'd spent a while going over different models from other companies I'd used before when a friend who is also a PC Specialist customer told me to check their site.

Within minutes I'd found the case I wanted, was able to spec it up to what I wanted including keeping Windows 7 and then just 8 days later it was here.

From start to finish the customer service alone warrants giving them my business. It was flawless... Whats more, I now have a stunning laptop built to my own requirements for the cheapest price available.

Very quick delivery following order and regular staus updates.

I found that process from order to receipt good with regular updates on the status of my order which I received within 9 days of initial order. On connecting the speaker system I found that it was faulty which I had to return to PC Specialist at my own cost even though I had taken out the 3 year Gold Warranty (2 year collect & return) and it is because of thisthat I have given a four star rating which otherwise would have been five.

Simply awesome.

Couldn't have asked for more. Laptop is exactly as requested and turned up exactly when I was told it would. These guys are the best around at what they do. Will certainly be revisiting.

Very good service and quick delivery.

The service was excellent, I was informed at each stage of my order and I knew exactly what had been done already . I got my computer earlier than I expected. The computer came in secured box, everything was checked and tested. I am very pleased with the service.

Excellent service from beginning to end

I ordered a custom laptop from PC Specialist and had no issues with the website, everything worked just fine on the configuration and I was able to select a laptop that I wanted. Every step of the way during my order process I was kept informed and the delivery company (DPD) sent me a text message with a 1 hour delivery slot on the day of arrival and it arrived within the quoted agreed hour for delivery. I have recommended this company and will keep on recommending this company to my friends and family.

The service this website provides is fantastic. Don't get me wrong, they don't do everything for you, I had to do a bit of research on components to decide which to choose from but if anything that helped me understand exactly what I was investing in!

Low price with high performance

A very good company obviously designed for the person who wants to customise everything, so they can perfect the product, but also get the best value. There is an option for everything from swapping out the disc drive for a 3rd HD mount, to changing your order when it's pre production because you wanted to tweak the cpu. Here is a company that instead of bundling loads of crap onto you to drive the price up they let you choose to drive it down, and as such attract more customers in doing so. Ultimately you are going to end up with what you want for the best value without any of the crap.

Delivery very fast

I wanted to configure a laptop but as there was one ready with similar features, I ordered it. It was cheaper and spent less than 48 hours to received it.
In addition, they informed me when it was coming and asked me when/how I wanted to received it.
I'd recommend them to anyone!

Quick and brilliant service

I was surprised at how quick they build the laptop I ordered and then dispatched it. It took a little over a week form ordering it to it being delivered. The laptop quality is also very good and to get this spec from a store I would have had to pay a lot more money.

Flawless service, a breath of fresh air in a world where most companies under do liver

I spent quite a bit of time weighing up the options for my new high-spec laptop. I develop SharePoint applications, which requires alot if power. I had looked at several vendors and I can promise you that none if them came close to matching value for money.
I knew I was going to have to spend a bit to get the power I needed but all other quotes were over £2000.
So, opting to use Specialised PC I logged in to my saved spec, a great feature and then hit order. The process was simplicity itself. I opted for the moderate fast build. The next morning I had already received an email to inform me that my laptop had been constructed and was ready for some stringent testing. Over the course of the next few days I was kept informed at all stages and the laptop was delivered absolutely on time. Well packaged. Also more the Specialized PC use a great courier service who also keep you posted regarding delivery.
The end product is stunning. It's the best machine I have ever used, bar-none. Top build quality and lightning fast.
I recommend this company to all. They are a credit.

Fantastic!

The machine works perfectly, everything I needed it to be. It's so good that it was all set up and ready to go. My only issue is that the disc drive can get very loud whilst in use, but I'm really just nit picking here. Good job, guys! Thank you!

All went smoothly

The purchase online was easy and with no complications, I had updates along the building and testing process, delivery and dispatch have been on the planned day (I bought the 5 days dispatch option).
The machine was packed with care and easy to set up.
I had no reason to contact the costumer service so far. which is the best possible scenario.
I would recommend Pc Specialist to a friend.

One of the Best Internet Companies I Have Used.

Bought my first PC from them in 2007 and up untill a few days ago it was still going strong. It then developed a fault which turned out to be the video card falling over - due, I think, to an accumulation of fluff on the cooling fan which then stopped.
PC specialists diagnosed the problem (Initial communication was by email, via the laptop I bought from them last year.. I received a reply the same day. I then spoke to their tech support at 5p/minute - not the exhorbitant charges others make). I ordered a compatable card from their website, which was simple. I logged on to "my account" and a list of all possible upgrades for my particular PC was displayed - even though it is now coming up to its sixth birthday. Delivery was organised - I was given an hour time slot when it would be delivered (by email and text) and it duly arrived in the allotted time slot.
I don't know who runs this company, but they have a thorough grasp of the ethos of Customer Service, as do all the people I had dealings with. Can't praise them enough.

This is not my first PC Specialist machine and things have definitely moved on. First, there really isn't any negatives:

Ordering - pretty easy and their online validation is good to make sure everything is compatible
Out of stock - There were a couple of things out of stock and they communicated this and offered an alternative
Build - all the way through there is great communication
Changing your order - it was cool that I could easily make amendments like upgrading delivery and keyboard
Delivery - DPD are fantastic and a great choice and let you know when they will deliver
Problem - You may think this is a negative but when something goes wrong this is often more telling than when everything runs smoothly. In short the PSU was whining and fizzing and after a couple of brief conversations I got a switch over PSU the next day and now the machine is working brilliantly. No problems, no fuss, really easy.

What I love about PC Specialist is their quality, sleek but flexible process and their customer service.

Overall the laptop was very well built, only a few issues with one USB port not working, but it is no issue to what i needed from the laptop. Overall, well done PC specialist, very happy with my laptop!

Finally getting to grips with Windows 8. PC is excellent and quick and I can't fault it. Delivery on time and all ready to go. Really pleased

People you can trust even if things go wrong

I ordered my PC online using the component selections, I found the interface very easy to use.
Once my PC was ordered I was updated at critical stages via email and txt and even better I was given a 2 hour time slot when it was due for delivery, none of that 9-5 stuff.

Sadly when my PC arrived it had been damaged in transit (despite the huge amount of packing they put it in). One phone call to the guys and they dispatched a new front cover for my case next day delivery and without any quibble...

Excellent service.

My PC was easy to configure online and a great way to see the cost of upgrades. I was kept up to date by email for each part of the process of the build and dispatch and was very happy with the PC I received. I would recommend PC Specialist to anyone. Telephone contact for technical help was also handled well and resolved any probems I had.

Looks and feels cheep

laptop functions perfectly although the power button and other power strip buttons can be a little dodgy to operate

about the only real complaint would be: i ordered the quick 3 day service and the machine was ready for dispatch within 2 days but for some reason they held the machine back from dispatching until the 3rd and final day

Brilliant machines!!

Definitely worth a think about if youre not happy with some of the major suppliers only selling machines with Win 8. A lot of choice in the drop down menus when customising the components, and you can see an honest/competitive price change when selecting different components. I would always try to buy from them again.

First time buyer, thoroughly impressed!

Being a first time laptop buyer, I was unsure where to buy from. I came across PC Specialist and was blown away by the service. My order arrived within three days of me hitting the 'order' button and I was up and running in no time. If you're getting a PC, PC Specialist is the way to go!

Professional and quick service

As a professional software developer I was looking for a replacement for my existing laptop which had just died. I needed a fast machine, and I needed it delivered fast too. The PC specialist website offered a straightforward and clear way of customising the machine, but the stock machine was pretty much as I needed it and was delivered the next day as promised.
Ordering was a little involved as PC specialist do not routinely deliver to a non-cardholder address, but a phone call and a scan of a utility bill sorted this for me.
The machine speed does not disappoint but the sound quality is not 'premium' as described on the web. The support forums look to be pretty active and have answered a couple of questions that I had.
I'd certainly buy from these guys again...

Few problems

First of all the dvd drive wasn't connected so i had to open my brand new pc and do it myself, also i was home waiting for the delivery of it and i saw the delivery man walk across the street and deliver it to my neighbour from which i had to retrieve it than afterwards, don't know why.

We are sorry that you had problems when you received the PC - Sadly we cannot do anything about the delivery as that is down to DPD once it leaves here however we do mark it as consignee only so this will be looked in to.

Regarding the DVD drive, when It left the building it was connected, it can sometimes happen where a SATA / POWER cable can become dislodged in transit, it doesn't always happen but is rather common sadly.

In an ideal world we wouldn't courier a PC, sadly it is a necessity.

Just what you need without hastle.

Excellent products. The price is very competitive. You choose the build the specification to your exact needs. The choice of equipment and ease of selection from their web site was great. PC Specialist keep in touch with you for every part of the process from accepting the order to the delivery. In fact, the delivery company inform you which hour it will arrive, which is something I have never experienced before from a delivery courier. Everthing is packed extremely well and you get what you asked for. I received the computer equipment in perfect conditon and it worked from the word 'Go'. I will fully recommend PC Specialist to everyone to be the company to buy from.

A special build from the PC specialists

As a pensioner I need to be careful with money so when my current PC began crashing on a regular yet random basis an all the indicators led to a failing motherboard/cpu I thoroughly researched all the options. I was going to take the opportunity to upgrade the old pre-sandybridge motherboard and pop in an i7 to replace the original i3 and I assumed I would only be able to afford the individual components. A visit to the PC Specialist website, however, meant I could have my chosen components professionally built and tested into a designer box AND afford a new, faster HDD as well. All I had to do was fit my existing SSD with OS, DVD drive and RAM when the very well packaged PC arrived. I was kept informed via e-mail how my order was progressing and it arrived a few days before the suggested lead-time was up! Excellent service, price and I would thoroughly recommend PC Specialist.

Great service, arrived when expected and product is great!

Ordered a HDD caddie for my PCS laptop to upgrade to having 2 SSDs. Arrived 2 working days later. Caddie works really well. And was really easy to install.

Hard drive power cable was not connected...

We thought we had a faulty pc when it came as we could not install windows, turned out the hard drive power cable was not connected in side the pc.

We are sorry that you have had a problem with the PC, the drive was connected when the PC went out to you as it is showing in the QC check and also we have to install a test OS in order to complete our stress / burning stage - this could not have been done if we have just left it unplugged

What can happen is the power / SATA connector can come loose in transit - we do not feel a 2 star review is in anyway a fair reflection on this order at all.

Power house of a Laptop

When I first got the laptop I was amazed by the quality of the chassis, its classy and not TOO flashy as other gaming laptops out there.
I would recommend that the model being sent out have the additional HDD slot, even if you only order just 1 hard drive.
The Laptop comes with drives for all the components in the laptop, in case the OS don't recognize the hardware.
I am playing most of the newest games with the highest setting with no problems, the laptop handles the games with great ease and i am extremely satisfied, and if I ever buy a new laptop I will probably get it at PCspecialist.
