Very poor service rude staff

PC world are quick to take the money from your acount, but to refund any money for a business account customer they take too long. Appalling customer service, very rude staff on the phone.

No delivery of my £130 pinnter; 4 months and many emails later no refund.

I ordered a £130 printer in September which did not arrive. This was blamed on the supplier. PCWB had already taken full payment. I have now been fobbed off for 4 months following numerous calls and emails to the company. I feel as though I have been robbed in broad daylight. Please don't buy anything from this unscrupulous company. Anyone know who the MD is? They should be named and shamed.

Never order again!

I ordered an item which they said they had in stock. After 2 weeks I still didn't receive anything so phoned them and they said that they are waiting for their supplier to send the item - what a bunch of liars! Some more the item dropped in the price in the meanwhile so I cancelled the order and now waiting for refund - which they said should take about 5 days. Their practice to charge you immediately without delivering the idem should be reported to authorities, I don't think they can do this.

Hooray - I can still buy windows 7 for my business

These guys are pretty good. Very helpful in their stores and a website with a wide selection of products. The stores no longer do Windows 7 machines, but the business website has a great selection from stock. It's just a shame they charge for delivery.
Would recommend for any small business.

Incompetent and tedious

Would not recommend this company at all. They took funds from my bank account without having the item in stock, I was not kept updated on the situation (waiting for item to come in) unless I chased up on it. They eventually said they could not supply the item but it still took a while to get a refund. I was given contradictory information from different people. They were not rude at any point, however, as other reviewers have experience. The whole episode took two months and was totally pointless, I would never have ordered from them if I had known they did not have the item in stock.

Rude Call Centre Staff and Cancelled Orders. PC World Business definitely not open for business !

I ordered a laptop for a friend who was emigrating and paid extra for next day delivery. The next day I checked online and the order had not been dispatched so I called and asked about the order. I spoke to someone called Theresa and she told me someone would call to ask security questions before dispatching the order. Some rude woman did call and talked to me as if she really couldn't give a sh*t and then told me they would 'review my order'. I asked what this meant and she said that she only dealt with the financial bit and I should talk to someone in customer services. So I called again and got through to Natalie and after I told her my order number (70087204) she said she had spoken to me earlier this morning (I think they just make these names up) and that the order should be processed. Anyway, I get home after work and login to PC World Business and find the order has been cancelled ! Unbelievable ! Now my friend is left with no laptop as it is too late to order from anywhere else and get it tomorrow !

Avoid these clowns and take your business elsewhere as PC World Business obviously do not need it.

Your customer service in the business section at your Peterborough branch stinks.
We have bought 9 systems and numerous laptops of you guys over the past few years. All of the desktop systems apart from the last 2 have been fitted with windows 7 pro. For some reason the 2 most recent have been fitted with home so we cannot add them to our server network without an upgrade. When I spoke to Andy at Peterborough he basically told me we would have to pay for the upgrade as we didnt specify and he didnt want to get in to it with me. He was very rude and argumentative. I didnt have to specify on all the others so why now, and how would I know? I must remember next time I buy a new car to specify the colour or god knows what I will get as Im sure the salesman wont ask me !!!!!!!
Well I will go and buy my upgrades elsewhere and everything else in future. You have lost a business customer down to £100 and sheer rudeness.

Great mail order company

Have used before - will use again.

Failed to deliver on next day delivery

Ordered four products for next day delivery.

PCWB split the order into two shipments. The DHL part arrived first thing next morning.

Needless, to say, the part shipped by the disgraceful, idle, useless, charlatans City Link did not.

No delivery and no refund

I ordered a laptop from PCWB thinking they were a trusted brand. It never arrived, when I called to find out why I was palmed off. I have called now 4 times and sent 3 emails. I have been given no consistent reason why it hasn't arrived and no refund. I would absolutely advise against buying anything from PCWB
