I ordered the morphy richards kettle toaster and coffee machine from pentagongps last week and was not only thrilled that I received my goods the day after I ordered them but that since Ive also received an email with future offers and bought a running watch for my sisters birthday present that she kept hinting she loved and at a much better price! cant wait to buy again ha ha
Its been over a month since I ordered my 10 pound item from pentagongps and the current state of play is, they charged me, no item and no refund.
I ordered a low value item from them and waited 2 weeks, after I had not recieved the item I contacted them, unlike others here they responded within a few days which was OK in comparison to the rest of my experience. They apologised and told me it was sent and I would have to wait 15 working days before they could make a claim via royal mail, now if it was me as it was only 10 pound I would of simply sent another using recorded delivery and then put the claim in once it had reached the 15 days but no they insisted I had to wait. So I did. No contact from them, I had to contact them to remind them it still had not arrived. They replied with an acknowledgement and attached a very basic poorly writen claim form which all I had to do was sign and put my name.
That was 2 weeks ago, they assured me they would send a replacement as soon as they got the form back signed. They obviously never bothered to send it and was hoping it would turn up and they could still claim, or that they would not have to do anything and it woud just arrive, but whatever its not good enough. I then sent a snotty email asking for a refund and they have literally this moment replied to say yes but I have to wait 5 days.....NOT HAPPY! - I would avoid these people like the plague, seriously. I wish i bought the item on ebay for the extra 4 pound it would of cost me at least I would of got the item when I needed it and at the very least a decent customer service with 2 way communication. As the title says AWFUL!
Ordered a product from this company and 2 days later received an e-mail saying they would not honour the sale at the price they advertised and would refund my money. Not a great way to do business - I will not be using them again.
I ordered a Garmin 210 forerunner and within 2 days it was delivered to me without any issues whatsoever.
I was initially concerned by the feedback I read here, but really needn't have been.
This company has given me great service and I would happily use them again.
THE SAT NAV I RECEIVED WASNT NEW AND THEY WERE NOT AT ALL HELPFUL WHEN ASKED TO CHANGE IT. NOW I AM STUCK WITH THE SECOND HAND UNIT BECAUSE THEY ACCUSED ME OF MAKING STUFF UP. THE SAT NAV WAS MEANT TO BE A XMAS PRESENT BUT HOW CAN I GIVE SOMEONE A PREVIOUSLY USED PRODUCT THAT I PAID TOO MUCH MONEY FOR.
Very frustrating experience with PentagonGPS. Similar to the posting from mid December below, it has proved impossible to contact Pentagon GPS in order to follow up on my on-line order (Garmin 310XT). Order confirmation was recieved immediately after placing the order and my credit card has been charged but when using the track order function, it simply shows "awaiting process". It has been that way for 4 business days. I've called multiple times per day and emailed once per day, both go unnswered. They even make you wait 2-3 mintues on the phone before saying "please try again later". I do NOT recommended this company - lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. I don't mind if late for Christmas, but please just tell me that!
recently purchased handheld gps unit based on seller's excellent price; received it within a few days as promised. Product received had been used before, packaging was not sealed, software opened, etc. Waited 2 days for a response to my query regarding this. Whilst Pentagon offered to replace it if I was to return it, I reluctantly kept it as I needed it for a trip, and felt it was too much trouble to have to return it and wait for a replacement.
