Received my pair of Varifocals last week, perfectly packed. The quality, for the price I paid is unmatched, compared to the pair I got last year from Occhio. The regular email update keeps you up to date with the status of your order, so dint have to pay for International calling . I am impressed with their service and specially their product. It is perfect in every way.
Tip: Varifocals here cost you $150 less, compared to an optical store.
It seems that any concept of customer service is alien to this company. Over the last week I have left numerous messages enquiring about the status of my glasses and I have not received a reply.
They claim that you can check this status online. What a joke of a system that is; it simply says 'processing'. No idea of a date they will be sent out. Nothing. Surely as soon as I have made a payment the order is being processed? How ridiculous!
So after numerous attempts at clarifying when I can expect the glasses (standard single vision lenses, an easy prescription to complete) and STILL having no helpful information I decided to call...
On Thursday (nearly 2weeks after placing the order) I called to ask for this information and was told that the glasses were undergoing a 'quality inspection' and would be sent out that evening or the next day.
Impatient as I am, I called again on Monday and was told by the same person that my glasses were being inspected for quality and would be sent out that day or the following day. The same BS story.
So it apparently takes 4 working days to inspect glasses for quality, which leads to the question, what quality were they in the first place? One thing is clear: perfect glasses are great at taking payments from you but once they have your money you are on your own!
Dont expect a prompt reply, dont expect accurate or truthful answers when they finally bother to give you information.
I am still waiting for the glasses to arrive (according to the tracking feature they are being 'processed'. So he has either lied about a dispatch date or the tracker is useless) and i will update this if/when they do.
P.S Like other people have mentioned here, I would also question the validity of some of the 5star responses.
No doubt, there are people employed to leave positive reviews as one below claims to have received 2pairs within 7days, along with continual and prompt email updates?
After my experience, that to me sounds very suspicious considering I have not had a single reply in a week, and 2 weeks on I am waiting for mine to arrive.
What are these regular updates? please inform
Please folks, dont be fooled by overly positive responses, they are stooges paid to boost ratings and get your hard earned money. We all want to find a bargain but if you want peace of mind and decent customer service, stay away from this company.

Placed the order and then waited for a few days. They told me that they recommended polycarbonate lens as the glasses were frameless, so they offered me a discount on the increased price.. I received some more emails saying that the glasses were progressing and they would arrive soon. Then got contacted by a carrier saying that they were delivering a parcel and would I wait in. I waited in and the glasses were delivered although I did not know that they were the glasses. There was no note in the envelope with the glasses so I assumed that they came from perfect glasses.
The glasses were in fact perfect and I would deal with them again. But now I know that their communication leaves much to be desired and take that on board before I order.
I had a rimless pr glasses and a reglaze.No problems. Infact I intend to purchace another pr in a couple of days.I'm glad I took a chance and tried them out.Comms were great and Delivery great to.I had to wait a couple of weeks as there was a bank hol in the middle.But nothing unreasonable. Can't say a bad word about them.
I do not have a very stong prescription.My glasses were crystal clear.I recomended them to all my friends.
Buying glasses has always costed me a bomb as I have a high cylinder value. Until now I had to spend 250-300 quid, but Perfectglasses go this done for me in less that 85. They did not have -4.50 cylinder in the online option so I rang them an customer service was prompt enough to get me a quote and an alternate payment method of the extra 20 that they charged me for the high prescription. The glasses arrived in two weeks and can't find any fault in it. Now that I know the drill, I have placed another order and will highly recommend this company for the quality and price these guys offer.
What a scam!!! I placed my order for glasses over 3 weeks ago. After a week I received an email stating that my tester set of glasses had been dispatched, even though I did not order this. I quickly rang Perfect Glasses thinking it was a mistake. On that call they apologized and said my order would be expedited to prevent any further delays. That is when the fun started. I have been phoning them every other day and every time it is a different story. I have been told now my order was sent out on 5 different days. When you ask for the person that you spoke to last they are never available. In fact I am sure that it is the same man using different names. Beware of Alvin, Frances and Joseph!!!! Finally they told me that if my glasses did not arrive by 13:00 yesterday they would finally refund my money, and I would get to keep the glasses that are supposed to be on their way. Well surprise surprise no glasses. I phoned Perfect Glasses who told me that they would process my refund straight away. They use paypal; paypal emails straight away. Today I still had not received conformation of refund so I phoned yet again. They tried to attempt to tell me that the refund had been processed yesterday. However, when he put me on hold to check the transaction number, I just happened to receive a refund notice from paypal!!!
Stay as far away from these people as you can. All you will get is a month worth of grief!! I do not leave reviews online, but with this company I had to.
I was extremely impressed with the fit of the varifocals, I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews. But 3 days after placing my order I received the glasses for PD marking and was impressed with the quality given the price I paid. After returning the frames I receive them back fitted with my prescription within 2 weeks and I am absolutely delight with them and will recommend Perfectglasses.co.uk to all my friends who spend a fortune at high street.
First off, I tried to verify my price and specification by sending them my prescription before I paid and sent off my frame. [Name], customer service representative, verified and confirm me with an invoice. I made a payment and sent off the frame to them.
Two days later, the same representative contacted me and said oh...we got a confirmation from our lab that your lens has prism and there will be additional 30 pounds charge. I was so livid on their practice and when I complained, they gave 10 pounds discount. At that point, they already got my frame and I was left no choice but paying additional cost. (BTW, I got the same quote from another vendor without extra charge of my prism but decided to go with this guy. My big mistake!!!)
After my 2nd payment, it went quiet for 3 weeks and you will have absolutely no way of tracking where your frame is and how much more time it would take. Obviously, they are hiring a third party to do the job. So, they also have absolutely no idea. At this point, I already gave up. However, after a total of 4 weeks after placing my order, my glasses show up and the bolt covers are missing. No more complaint for me. It's time to move on and never look back!
I will not use their service again and will not recommend this company to anyone. They are also the same company as [Link]. Maybe there are more websites. So, be careful!!!
I've ordered polycarbonate ("unbreakable") lenses for over £100. The lenses cracked after three months and broke after four. I've returned the £160 frame on recorded deliver but THEY LOST THE FRAME. No clarification from customer services. I'm down £240 and no glasses. Disgraceful.

I have been long waiting for an Aviator Sunglass with my power. The optician at high street gave me a quote of 260 quid for the sunglasses with tint and extras. I happen to search online and saw the wide range of aviators on this site. The prescription on the lenses and the free tint with all the coatings is perfect and all this for less than 50 quid is a steal. I will order another pair soon and would suggest this site to all my friends and my family members.
Avoid buying from them.I have been contacting them for over a month and they were just making excuses.After waiting 20 days for my glasses I was told they had been sent to me.I have been waiting 10 days for them to be delivered and still nothing came trough my door or ever received a confirmation.I did pay via Paypal and now they are investigating to claim my money back.
We decided to buy glasses for my wife and I from Perfect glasses as they had a great selection of glasses online and about a third of the high street price. We were a bit concerned about what we would get, but with the home trial of the frames we were a lot more confident.
Things to be aware of, they are quite slow (took nearly 2 weeks in total) and you have to measure your PD distance yourself (quite simple) and adjust the frames when you get them or drop into a high street place for them to do that for you.
Still, I got Semi-rimmed glasses with reactions style lenses and all the coatings for £75 all in, a fraction of the high street price!
Best Option to browse through the widest range of frames, ordered for a Home Trial and received it within 4 days. After returning the them to be fitted with my prescription lenses got them back within a week. I am quite happy with my purchase as I got the best deal on my Ted Baker glasses with a free pair. I cant ask for more. I have already suggested this site to my friends
After an exasperating call to chase up my glasses I manage to get them to admit that they don't glaze the frames themselves, a third party does and this is what causes the lengthy turnaround
I was told many different things by different people and when you picked them up on the error they quickly came up with an excuse for the misunderstanding

I decided to have a home trial of 3 frames. I was astonished to find that I had to pay for each frame plus delivery charges for each pair. They could easily have been put in the one parcel to avoid these costs. Credit card details could have been taken then charged if the frames were not returned. Delivery time was 10 days (even though I was emailed to advise a 2 - 3 delivery) which is appalling and no excuse for being in a reasonably sized town in the North of Scotland.
I returned the frames the same day I received them, and on checking Royal Mail web site for proof of delivery I contacted customer services as to how long I would have to wait for my order to be processed and was advised that they could not find them and I would have to wait till they were found and then process my order. This took 3 days.
An acceptable time to process the order passed but again when advised the frames had been despatched they took 5 days to be delivered. However, I also had to chase up the refund of money paid for the trial frames and was told it could be 2 to 3 days for this refund to be processed.
I will however say that I am very pleased with my new glasses and my main frustrations as mentioned above are that timescales for delivery and charges for the trial of frames are extremely poor. Service needs to be drastically improved.
I opted for the new home trial. The glasses arrived quickly but there was no paperwork or clear info on the website to detail what to do with the glasses once decided. This meant you had to physically phone perfect glasses to see what was required. Also I was not expecting to have to pay for the return postage for the home trial so this could be made clearer. Fast delivery and great glasses though.

From start to finish found the experience excellent. Prompt follow up and when I received the glasses - absolutely delighted - and have already recommended to my sister. Will definitely use again.
I ordered 3 pairs of glasses( 1 pair of perscription sunglasses,1 pair of reactor light lenses and a free pair of standard). Had to pay slightly more on the lenses than first agreed due to my perscription but this is stated on the website. Continually updated via email and text on the progress of the order and when shipped you can track delivery via PDP . Recieved the first 2 pairs within 7 working days and the 3rd pair a week later. All 3 pairs of glasses are fine with no issues at all and have to say that although there are some mixed reviews about perfect glasses I had no problems at all and I am very happy with the service provided.
I found the whole experience quite slow and frustrating. Having priced up my glasses as per the online ordering service, I was immediately contacted by customer services telling me my prescription was "complex" and so i would have to pay more money. I refused and told them to cancel the order, so they decided not to charge me extra and supply the glasses i had ordered at the price i had ordered them at. The glasses took almost 3 weeks to arrive. I had ordered a similar pair from another online spectacles supplier and they arrived within one week (same prescription and without "extra" charges).
The end result has been worth it in the end though .. the specs seem sturdy and well made .... but i am not sure i would use this supplier again. I had ordered the specs for a trip i was going on to China (with my work) ... the glasses never arrived in time and i have just now returned from the trip ... they were delivered whilst i was away.
During my trip my reading glasses broke, so i am going to have to order a replacement for them. I need them quite quickly though so will probably not use this company as i can't afford to wait another 3 weeks for them to arrive.
Had the cheapest frames and bifocal instead of the more expensive varifocal which I've had previously from a well know high street. Just wanted a backup in case of damage. I ride a motorcycle and wanted to see whether bifocal construction worked better for me.
Impressed with the quality of the glasses, good fit, good vision. Would have like a posher case, but that is just being picky.
What I liked was that I was updated all through the process and even down to a time slot for delivery. Full marks throughout - will be a repeat customer.
I bought a pair of rimless frames online and was attracted by the very reasonable price. I opted for slightly thinner lenses at checkout as I have a fairly high prescription and accepted that this would make the glasses a little more expensive. Having placed the order I received an email suggesting I would be well advised to upgrade to polycarbonate lenses as this is the normal sort of lense used for rimless glasses. I did so but, again, had to pay yet more. My quibble is that, if these sorts of lenses are the right ones for the frames, it should have them as such right from the start of the process. It's a bit of a scam to keep the headline price low to show the spectacles with lenses that are not really suitable. However, that aside, these were still considerably cheaper than anywhere else and, thus far, I'm very happy with the look of the glasses and the speed of delivery etc.
Ordered glasses online on the 28th February. Order form is simple to use. Received text message and email to inform me that the order had been placed. Received regular updates letting me know status of my order and was also able to check status online. Received my glasses on the 7th March (7 days later).

I ordered rimless glasses. When they arrived it was clear the lenses had been mounted unevenly in the frames with the nose piece out of level. The lenses are generally set badly and I assume that this is one reason I cannot see through the glasses properly, they make me nauseous. I am also not convinced about the optical quality of the lens.
I have ordered online before with good results. Not this time, I have a useless pair of glasses.
I have now been waiting for 5 weeks for replacement glasses. Offer of a refund has not been actioned.
Happy and satisfied with the product, support and service provided. 1st time I have used a web bases glasses provider. The glasses arrived in good condition, with a time frame that is comparable with high street shops. Opted primarily for both cost and selection of frames however, the service provided means I shall be a returning customer in the future.

IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO ARRIVE.
When it finally came I was very happy, that was before I noticed that they had sent me the wrong size.
I ordered 54mm diameter lenses with a nose bridge of 18mm and they sent me 52mm diameter lenses with a nose bridge of 19mm.
I have complained and they have not offered to return me the money even though it has been their fault for sending the wrong size.
I specifically wanted this frame and with the quoted size to fit prescription lensess that I have from a previous similar frame that has been damaged but the lensess are new.
This lensess are to big to fit the size that you have sent me and the are to small to be able to cut them with precision to the required size.
So I am not happy with this service and i am investigating what action I should take.

I agree that the service took a long time, but the lenses were made up extremely well and of excellent quality. The freebies (eg anti-glare etc) made the lenses a bargain (& made me very happy). Our original frames were also tightened so that it fitted a lot better on the ears. First class service & attention to the product & to our own frames.
I would opt for the excellent quality of product at a bargain price and forego speed of delivery. I imagine that it would cost a lot more to customers (or no additional FREE extras) in order to employ staff to ensure a speedy service.
I would make sure that you had spare glasses to use whilst waiting though...

The lack of customer contact is an issue, it was always me chasing them for where my glasses were, and it took more than a month for the order to be completed (1 pair of glasses and 1 pair reglazed).
Easy to use website, excellent prices, pretty impressive finished product. I've used online glasses companies before and have always had what I consider value for money but my recent purchase was more impressive than previous purchases from competitive sites.
Frames look more sturdy, spring arms and in free hard case which are not an advert for the company unlike some others.
On the down side (and this is really nit-picking) delivery was maybe a little slower than some others but that is a comment rather than a criticism - I have had much worse,

I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I would highly recommend buying glasses online as it is not that difficult as it seems. placed order 31/12/12 waited over 6 weeks for my glasses and i feel i would of waited longer for them if i wouldn't of emailed them. Then when i do received them the lenses are different shapes, the nose peace is not fitted to lenes correctly and they don't sit on face evenly. very unhappy
No problems with this company at all.I even amended my order and got a great response. They kept me informed of every stage of production and delivery was nearly to the minute. Impressive. A budget pair of glasses but premium service.

I ordered a pair of designer glasses on Saturday Jan 26th. On Wednesday Jan 30th I got an email from them suggesting I switch to a lighter but more expensive lens and I accepted this in a few minutes and then a few days later I got an invoice for the upgrade. On Feb 6th (8 working days after I placed my order) I got another email saying the frames I ordered for the second free pair were broken in the process of putting the lens in and could I choose another pair.
I received my first pair on Monday Feb 11th and the second on Wednesday Feb 13th.
The glasses are all fine but the delays made the whole thing less than ideal.
The day after this review the arm fell off. I sent the glasses back by recorded delivery and the Post Office confirmed receipt the next day. I made it clear that I wanted a full refund and was entitled to such under the distance sell rules. In the following week , perfectglases said they had not received the glasses back at all and in the last few days they say they have received them back and have fixed them and are returning them. I stated clearly that I wanted a full refund and they chose to ignore this. Again it is delay after delay, the glasses failed on Feb 17th, here I am two and a half weeks later and still no sign of anything back.
If I could go from 4 stars to 1 I would.
All i can say is, WOW, im so happy with my rimless glasses, first i was alittle afraid of ordering online, but i got so feedup going to the very famouse branded optician the name begins with S and ends in Avers hoping thier prices may drop, what a mistake that was, thier prices always have a hitch to it, so i surfed around and found Perfectglasses, i checked the website, found the glasses i liked, but afriad of the price being so low, thinking there must be a catch to it.....NOPE no catch, so i orderd my glasses, once they came...i really was very surprised the quality,,,the style....all Perfect...if i went to my local optician it would have cost me over £150.00 easily...all i paid nothing to that figure and my lenses are Essilor, transitions and the free items which are added...all i really can say Perfectglasses for me all the way, if they keep this kind of service.
I ordered the glasses for the second time from perfectglasses and I'm very happy with them. Un-beatable prices and prompt delivery as I guess that is because my power is not too high. The regular text and email is very assuring about the entire process
