My wheels came with an incorrect fitment. It's not sure if this was due to wheel manufacturer's failure or if mistake was in dealers end. However it took half a year to try the wheels first time and to find out the problem. At this time guy who sold the wheels didn't work anymore with company, but Michael Morrison took care of things and I got a new set of wheels. I'm from Scandinavia so it's essential to have good customer service when buying overseas. Thank you!
We're in an interesting position, as we are a supplier to Performance Alloys, but we can say with great confidence that they are one of the finest Alloy Wheel retailers in Europe. They've consistently dealt with any product queries rapidly and are one of the quickest to take up our new products. It's always a pleasure doing business with these guys!
After I had made the payment for my OZ Racing wheels, as agreed with the Sales Team, they suddenly wanted £100 extra. They claimed OZ had increased their prices. Maybe it would be a good idea to know the prices on your products before you make a sale? I actually expected them to keep their end of the deal, but they couldn't care less. They increased their price after I had paid, and wouldn't budge an inch. Where I come from we keep our promises and stick to the deals we make. Obviously basic rules of business don’t apply to Performance Alloys. Performance Alloys made their mistake my problem as I was left without wheels for my new car. They couldn't care less. Luckily <external link removed> came to the rescue and quickly shipped the OZs to Norway for £100 less than Performance Alloys for the same wheels. Be advised. Don't expect first class service from Performance Alloys. Don’t even expect coach. They are nothing but deal breakers!
The prices are good and my order arrived quickly. Only complaint was that their website at the time stated that all UK orders would be delivered for free, but I was told they were in the process of changing this. They therefore refused to honour the free delivery, even though I was staring at it written in black and white on my computer monitor.
I've bought winter tyres from their website. I've paid more than 300pounds for them, and waited for delivery. Day later Ive received a phone call with information that tyres I've choice are out of stock (why there was no information on website just asked me ro pay for them???) They informed me that they could suply me with different one but almost same specification and price. Ive said ok, as I was desperate for them. But when tyres arrived, ive check them on internet and found the same almost 20 pound cheaper per tyre. Feeling cheated. Will not complain as leaving uk on saturady and need those tyres. buying tyres via telephone is pointless as you cant actually check them straight away to know what they are offering to you. But If there is no tires available in stock, they should inform about that on website, not jusk ask you to pay for what they haven't actually got.
Used these guys to source some winter tyres - unfortunately the ones I wanted were unavailable but they took the time and effort to recommend some alternatives. However I wanted a matched set (I already had 2) - they immediately refunded my money and followed up with not only an email but with a phone call to apologise. Really good customer service and I will be going back to them without hesitation.
Like sport, this review is a ‘game of two halves’. The first chap I dealt with was not proactive and somewhat mechanical. Order was subsequently placed for MSW 24 Black. The delivery dates were missed and PA received very little feedback from the Italians on this, which in turn was not passed on to me, until I chased. At this point I started dealing with Cormac McGuckin. Problem resolved with the purchase of AEZ Antigua Dark wheel & tyre package with minimal uplift in cost.
Wheels arrived from Germany, PA fitted tyres and delivered to me all as promised by Cormac, who was also at great pains to point out that the experience I had was far from typical for PA.
PA & Cormac I would gladly recommend to all and/or deal with myself again, should the need arise.
After finally picking out a set of alloys that I wanted from the site I proceeded through the checkout and awaited the call to arrange delivery. Later that day received an email explaining they were no longer in stock and suggested alternatives - none of which were suitable. I emailed back explaining the look and size I was after and Cormac speedily came back with 2 fabulous suggestions that he'd seen on one of his colleagues cars (which is the same model as mine). The set that I opted for were ex-display, I was a little worried about the condition but Cormac insisted they were perfect! After receiving them a couple of days later he was indeed right - the wheels were perfect! Can't wait to get them on my car!
So thanks to Performance Alloys and Cormac for his amazing advice and ability to find and provide me with a set of perfect alloys that will I'm sure look wicked on my car. If not for him I'd still be searching the net for a set of suitable alloys that I'd probably never find - I really am quite fussy.
The staff was always very helpful, calling back when they said they would with the information we needed. They helped us find the right wheels when we were pressed by time and on a budget. The delivery was very fast, from the quoted 4/5 working days we received the wheels after only 2 working days, shipped to the UK from stocks in Germany.
I dealt with Cormac and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. My order was not easy as it was being shipped to Beirut, but everything went great and the items arrived on time. I will definitely do business with Performance Alloys again and highly recommend it.
