I have been trying for 3 weeks to find out what is happening to the 2 orders I have made for flea and tick treatment for my dogs. The phone is generally not answered, my e mails do not get acknowledged or replied to. As things stand I have paid this company nearly 50 pounds, have not seen any goods and am rapidly running out of any hope of doing so.
I have always used Petcaremart's great value service for my cats' flea/tick/wormer treatments etc for about 4 years,without any problems at all!
I think the vets product prices are excessively over-priced,and i will always refuse to pay their prices on principle and will always go elsewhere and shop around,but i have no choice when it comes to paying for compulsory annual health checks/boosters etc,as the vets have got us over a barrel!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REINSTATE THE PETMART WEB SITE,AS THEY HAVE NOT DONE ANY HARM TO MY PETS WHATSOEVER!!!
Why has it been shut down? Have used this site for years and never had a problem, all medicines were the genuine article at cut prices, saving me a fortune. Now I am once again forced to pay ridiculous and greedy prices! Luckily I am a responsible pet owner otherwise I probably wouldn't bother!! Why does it matter where these products come from in the world as long as they are the genuine article?
I have been using this company for several years. Only once was the order late but it was an out of stock situation and arrived safely.
I have to pay £50 per month at the vets, £30 with this company, for regular medication. You can all work out the savings - never mind the flea/worm treatments for four animals. I have only spoken to them on a couple of occasions and they were extremely polite and efficient. The drugs are the real thing - I don't know what the problem is - I buy things from eg amazon uk and they come from all over the world.
Why would I order from a company who can't deliver for 7/10 days when others can manage 24/48 hours? Well I shouldn't have. Do not be fooled by the .co.uk extension on the web address, they are thousands and thousands of miles away. I have also taken the precaution to cancel my credit card - you can't be too careful. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.
I used this company few times over the years. I ordered Profender and also Frontline on numerious occassions. Once I mentioned that the expiry date is too short and they sent me a new package with a duplicate order completely free of charge!!! (worth over £100!!). What a great and prompt service. You will be missed!

Thanks to the likes of people who post on Pet Friendly World, this company has been forced to shut down. I previously purchased 6 pipettes of Frontline Combo for £7.50 - now I will have to pay around £29 for the same item from the UK. Looks as if the fleas & ticks have finally won!

I have been using them for about 18 months now and have also been recommending them to anyone who has mentioned that the price of flea treatment is so expensive.
Came online today to order some more supplies only to find the web site is no longer working, while looking around I stumbled across this page, after ready all the comments, I felt as though I had to defend the company.
I have ordered off this company 4 times and only had a problem with the last delivery. I had placed my normal order and after about 4 weeks I received a card through the post from customs and excise, they were holding my parcel and would not release it until I paid a fee of £13.50, obviously I was disappointed, as I was trying to save money by using this company. Anyway, I e-mailed the company attaching a scan of the card that asked for the £13.50 and complained to the company, they replied to my e-mail 2 days later and refunded the money within the week, I went to the local post office, paid the money and collected my parcel, a long winded way of getting my stuff but I would of still used them again today, if customs and excise hadn't shut them down.
So all you people who have no parcel, it is prob with C & E so that they could use all the complaints as an excuse to shut the company down and keep the trade in the UK, which I am happy to do but why do we have to always pay more than anyone else in the world.
I can't believe my favourite on-line wormer and flea treatment provider has been closed down.

I found them inexpensive and very helpful....with a veritive menagerie to care for I shall certainly miss them.
I don't where the products came from...they were genuine and did the trick. It's the animals who will suffer in the end!
Too many greedy vets knocking about, charging inflated prices and cashing in on our love for our animals.
we are dog breeders and have always ordered flea and worm treatments from them as they are same products as vet but half the price, we always place big orders and they have always arrived in full, no excuses. will be missed now we have to buy from vets again
who cares where they based, people order from china on ebay etc dont they.
My dog requires Optimmune for the rest of his life. My vet charges £35 for a 3.5mg tube.
Petcaremart supplied me with generic Optimmune for £12.99 for several years and I have never had a problem with ordering or delivery – until now !
Those selfish bigots who called for the closure of this company should be ashamed.
Seems to be a flurry of 'favourable' reviews here from people working for Petcaremart and trying to get this fraudster company up and running again. Trading Standards investigated and have managed to ban it. No company should be allowed to say it is operating in the UK when it is clearly not. The credit card companies also couldn't sustain paying out for the orders that Petcaremart never sent out but took the money for.
My dogs have been on Stronghold for 2 years now and it was more affordable with petcaremart. My cavalier was allergic to other flea treatments and the transformation when I changed was remarkable I will miss the ease of ordering through petcaremart...a great shame.
I also used them for the last 2 years and they were always very efficient. Replied to my queries promptly and even sent me the missing 10 tabs FOC based on my good word. I could afford to give my dog a long -end of -life treatment for her arthritis without repetitive vet fees whether we were in UK or in France; and who cares if it was posted from Barbados : they surely did the job better than in Europe !!!!
Okay their delivery was slow at times but I did not mind that. Their prices were great and vets should be ashamed of the extortionate prices they charge us.
My dog needs Rimadyl to make him comfortable. Thanks to petcaremart I was able to afford them when he requires them. Now I have to revert back to the local vets I will struggle.
Vets earn enough when they examine and treat our pets, why should they be allowed to charge us extortionate prices for tablets and have the way cleared for them to compete in a closed market place with little to no competition. I will miss petcaremart an awful lot.

VERY sorry to see they are no longer in business. Could it be a way of making Vets get their pound of yet more flesh, making pet lovers pay for
" prescriptions " for daring to buy from someone other than a vet ?

Have had several deliveries all excellent and without problem .was so pleased not to have to pay vet consultation fee or have the hassle and trauma of taking well dogs and cats to the vet for a product widely used. am devasted that sight has dissapeared.
I placed an order online with petcaremart.co.uk. When I did not receive the order in 4-5 days I called to investigate. The agent who picked up and was English and told that my order was shipped next day.
She requested me to verify the address once again and I realised that I had made an address error. She was kind enough to change the address and send the order once again. The good news was that the package arrived in 5 days. The products were what I ordered and UK products. I am happy and will try them again.
Last week I over ordered DRASTICALLY by mistake!!! I ended up ordering 8 packets of Frontline Combo instead of just the 1 as the website wasn't showing that any orders had been made! You can imagine the horror I had when my bank account showed that 8 payments had gone out costing me nearly £210!!!
I immediately emailed them at customer support telling them what had happened. After reading all the bad reviews, I was surprised to hear that they had rung & spoken to my BF whilst i was at work, early the next morning, & promised to place just the 1 order & refund me the remaining 7.
As of today, the refunded money has been returned to my bank account as promised.
I would like to thank the man who dealt with the issue just as he promised. I'm now awaiting the delivery of my item which I do trust will arrive, as it has done before.
I thought it would be only right to post this good review as I was
really concerned after reading all the BAD reviews.

I ordered my goods on the 24 July 2010. Paid £75.99 for Advacate spot on for my dog. I haven't received the good and today is 9 of August, but I just have received the phonecall from another customer in England that he has my order delivered to him ( so my order in the envelope, but his address on the envelope). I was really pleased that finally I will have my goods delivered. Unfortunately,he informed me that he had to pay some custom charges for the parcel and it cost him £11.50. He still is waiting for his parcel and it looks like I will not have my parcel unless I pay him £11.50 for the charge. Totally disapointed with scam!!!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM............. DON'T USE!!!!!!!!! I ordered Frontline combo for my cats nearly a month ago. After 2 weeks the item had still not arrived so i emailed the company to find out where the order was. I received a reply to say that if it had not arrived within the 2 weeks I would be entitled to a refund. A week later I received a royal mail card to say that I owed £12.34 customs charge. Nowhere on their web site does it say that a customs charge is incurred and as it has shows a London address I had no reason to think otherwise. I have since emailed the company and asked for a refund. after reading the comments on this site I doubt if I well get the money back. I just wish I had found these reviews earlier but thank you anyway. I think next time I will go to my vet - the most safest and trusted route. LD
We ordered front line from this company at a good price. However when the package arrived two weeks later the post office wanted £21.00 in customs duty as it was sent from the West Indies. We refused delivery. That was a month ago. We are still awaiting a refund from this disreputable company. It seems that there UK office is just a serviced office masquerading as the company so that it appears to be UK based.

Bit surprised to see this and wondering why I did not notice this earlier? Have ordered twice from them and have not had any problems. Both times it was Stronghold and the product was genuine and arrived on time. Am not the kind who actually writes reviews, but thought I would share my experience. If nothing else, it would lessen the worries of those who have orders pending with them.
I ordered some flea drops from petcaremart, then a few days later i stumbled upon this site and well... my heart sank. Next time i order from some site other than Amazon i shall make sure they can be trusted. I made my order on the Thursday night and i recived my order on the Friday the following week. They didn't ship the following day like they say they do (which would have been on the friday), this made me nervous especially after reading all of these reviews.
I had a good experience this time but i may have been one of the lucky few, and i won't risk useing them again. Oh! and the order did come from Barbados not the UK as they state.
I just ordered some flea treatment for my cat when I stumbled upon this page and got a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews here. I called the free no 0800 007 5505 . The woman I spoke to was very friendly and her English was perfect. She cancelled the order -no probs at all.
A total disgrace. Seems like they might deal with your order if they feel like it. Not a company to deal with on a long term basis, that's for sure.
Their address in London is derelict. I went there to sort the problem out, nobody lives or works there.
I reported them to trading standards who are powerless to stop them as they operate outside the uk.
If you want to try them, be sure never to use a debit card as you will never get your money back if they decide to play their nasty games.

This Company should be closed down. I ordered some painkillers for my dog on 3rd August and have repeatedly e-mailed and called them (NOT able to speak to any person who understands english enough), last e-mail from them in October said goods on the way - HUH, I have now demanded a refund and will be seeking ways to ensure they do not do this to others - it is disgusting and they ignore, are rude, confused and totally unacceptable to provide any service to anyone - EVEN A DOG !
Petcaremart is a scam operated by Anthony Worrell of Barbados Pharmaceutical Society. It is no good making complaints. They send out some goods but make a mint out of NOT sending out others. Trading Standards and European Standards are powerless as this so-called UK company (which is actually based in Barbados) is outside the jursidiction of UK and European law.

Placed an order for nearly £50 worth of pet healthcare - flea treatments and wormers. After almost a month, still no goods. Emails not returned. Very hard to get through on telephone lines but persist if you find yourself in the same boat as me... although not sure it's worth the effort. Have been assured a refund but i fear i may simply have to resign myself to losing the money. i WILL be reporting this company to trading standards in that event for what it will be worth.
I ordered some Rimadyl for my dog Bruno one week ago. I contacted them to find out why delivery was so long. They informed me they are an international company so I can give the order a couple of days. My order arrived 2 days later!!! I love this site and will continue to order once more. I really did enjoy their customer service as well because they are so friendly and caring.
