Amazing Service, Outstanding Product Knowledge, Great Prices And Very Fast Delivery

Well what to say really other than they are perfect I have had amazing service the products I ordered are outstanding quality and price with very fast free Saturday delivery. This is the only place I will look for any future AV equipment.

Supurb service, keen prices and very good quality

Having been let down on delivery by another supplier I ordered a TEAC P1260 from Peter Tyson late on Monday night and on Wednesday midday it was delivered, pretty good going from all concerned seeing as it was from Carlisle to deepest Somerset. The item exceeded my expectations and it replaced an ageing Denon which could not handle MP3 so all in all very satisfied with the whole transaction and have put Peter Tyson on my trusted supplier list.

Fantastic price and customer support from the Tyson Team

I was looking at adding a top of the range AV to my latest Cinema set up and after several hours of research and price checks spotted that PT had the best price for the Pioneer SC- LX87. The guys at PT confirmed the AV was in stock and quoted me the internet price I had seen. I rang the following morning after agreeing we'd missed the previous days' delivery time only to find the price had increased back to the other Internet suppliers price. However, the guys agreed to stick with the price quoted 16hrs earlier...and the AV was duly paid for and delivered 24hrs later by their courier - excellent service.
In terms of user help I had to ring the guys at PT after finding that connecting 5 x pair of HD speaker cables to the SC-LX87 an absolute pain - the socket connector terminals are so close and difficult to install and secure good HD cable into them. I initially emailed the guys to ask why I couldn't use Banana connectors - they responded back without delay highlighting some European legislation as a result of accidents whereby kids had been pushing 3mm - 4mm banana plugs into their mains 240v sockets (highly dangerous clearly). However the guys then mentioned a quick method to open back up the ability to use 4mm Banana connectors by simply removing a small plastic plug from the AV speaker terminal centre - Bingo - I can now connect my speakers with ease and not worry about shorting out bare wires from twisted wired connections: - Thanks for all of your help guys - highly recommended

I recently ordered a new AV Amp from this store. They responded quickly to all correspondence, delivered the item when they said they would and had the best prices I could find online. Can't think of a reason to shop anywhere else!

Fantastic communications

The Pioneer DAB docking system that I was interested in was out of stock when I enquired, however, advised that a delivery was imminent. Frequent emails on progress of order. Item received with minimal delay. All at a very competitive price.

Great Customer Service

I ordered some Wharfedale speakers and a Denon AVR, received them next day via DPD no problem. Unfortunately one of the Wharfedale satellites was dead on arrival. Sent an email to Peter Tyson on Sunday, got a phone call Monday from Dan saying he has contacted Wharfedale and awaiting them to get back to him. A few days later Dan let me know Wharfedale will send me a replacement satellite so I didn't have to send everything back. Sure enough it turned up and is working fine.
Thanks to Dan I now have a great sounding system with minimum effort on my part.

Excellent service from Peter Tyson and the Dpd delivery service.

Excellent service , I ordered on the basis that the item i wanted could / would be delivered on a Saturday, and payed via amazon but the amazon checkout didn't give me that option, my error, however emailed these guys and they fixed it for me straight away !
Received my item on Saturday, Emails and texts at the way telling me when my delivery be delivered i was given a timeslot 10.57 to 11.57, Dpd delivered at 10.57, never had that happen before! ever!
Will definately use these guys next time .

When is a problem not a problem? When it's dealt with by Dan King @ Peter Tyson.

After 7 years of faultless service, I decided it was time to upgrade my aging Yamaha AX863SE AV amp. I did my homework and chose the Yamaha RX-V1073 and started looking for best price combined with seller reputation, which is why I chose to buy from Peter Tyson.

The unit arrived the following day and the set-up seemed fine until I got to the subwoofer, which I couldn't get the amp to recognise. Having spent a couple of hours trying to resolve the issue, I gave up and contacted Peter Tyson. I was transfered to Dan in Customer Services, who decided that I needed tech support from Yamaha. He did all the running, putting the equally nice guy at Yamaha in touch with me and I was talked patiently through the correct set-up procedure.

Good as his word, Dan contracted me shortly afterwards to see how I'd gone on and check that I was happy with the result.

Other companies could learn a lot from the staff at Peter Tyson, where customer satisfaction at a highly competitive price are all in a days work. Too many times have I encountered indifference or unintelligible foreign call centres.

I have ordered many things on-line but seldom has it been handled in such a smart and efficient way from order to completion. Good communications, superfast well-tracked delivery. Definitely sets a benchmark for other sellers.

Outstanding Customer Service - Thanks to Dan King!

In my experience, companies with a genuine commitment to customer service are few and far between; I'm pleased to say that Peter Tyson stands out as a retailer that does all it can to ensure that customers are well looked after at all stages of the sales process. You only find out whether the customer service ethos exists when something goes wrong and needs resolving and having put this to the test I was extremely impressed by the customer service offered by Dan at Peter Tyson.

I had a number of problems with my Marantz unit and Dan did everything necessary to ensure the issue was resolved fully, resulting in my AV amp being replaced with a brand new unit. This was the best possible outcome for me and I don't think it would have been resolved in this way without Peter Tyson liaising with Marantz on my behalf.

Needless to say, Peter Tyson will be my first choice should I require any further AV equipment in the future and I'd be happy to buy from them even if they were a little more expensive, given their first rate customer service.

Brilliant Company - faultless service

I had a problem with my Denon receiver that I bought from Peter Tyson online. They were so helpful on the phone, and sorted out the problem to my complete satisfaction at no cost to myself.

Superb service all round

Onkyo ear buds stopped working in left ear and contacted Peter Tyson. I returned the item and they paid the postage and packing. Then they agreed replacement under guarantee and it was all sorted in a few days. Lots of communication to let me know what was happening at all stages. This is service as it should be but so rarely found.

Great prices backed up by excellent service

I had my replacement earphones delivered today (BOSE SIE2), which I’m over the moon with, having originally ordered some Denon Bluetooth headphones at Christmas. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the Denons, I just wasn’t that happy with the fit. As I was outside of the usual returns policy time, there was a 10% re-stocking fee, which was understandable, but the level of service throughout has been exceptional. When I called back a few times to discuss alternatives, i was offered sound advice.

Being involved with Digital Marketing, I work with a lot of businesses who operate online (as well as having stores) so I just wanted to say that I’ll be recommending Peter Tyson to anyone i come across looking for Audio/Visual equipment.

Excellent customer service

The product I wanted wasn't in stock when I ordered it but Peter Tyson were quick to inform me and give me a few options. In the end, the product became available much sooner than expected and I was called regularly to be informed of when it was arriving in store and when I could expect delivery.

Having finally decided on an AV receiver (Denon AVR-1000) , extensive online research identified that Peter Tyson was selling this item at the lowest price with free delivery. The entire process from ordering to fulfillment was completed over two working days, and I was kept informed of my order status by email. Delivery was scheduled for a one hour time slot and the item arrived on time. A brilliant professional service and very competitive pricing - what's not to like?

Bought vita audio r4i delivery was spot on, the unit devoloped a fault outside the 2 year manufacturer warranty but Peter Tyson gave a free 3 year on this. Item was quickly and efficiently repaired with no problems. Will use Peter Tyson again for sure

A feel-good experience

Chose Peter Tyson because well-selected brands, some good offers and prices, and intelligently bundled Hi-Fi and Home Cinema systems. They calmly, quickly and helpfully sorted a problem with a DAC that had been wrongly boxed at manufacturer. Delivery (on two occasions) was spot-on. They have chosen a good carrier in DPD. You can track order as a direct clickable from e-mail, and you are updated on delivery window by text. Staff were friendly, on-the-ball and helpful on phone. Paid using Amazon Payments. Very useful. Will be using Peter Tyson Online again.
