My family and i flew from Manila - Laoag.
On the return flight Philippine airlines cancelled the flight because of power problems.
They arranged hotel to us for 1 night. A bad hotel - no water supply in the shower, old and dirty interior in the room and boring food in the restaurant.
Because of the cancelled flight, we had to change our holiday plans and was forced to book a 2 nights stay in a hotel in Manila. I asked Philippine airlines to credit us the amount for this hotel - USD 128,-. They are not willing to to credit the amount.
I understand that they have to cancel the flight for safety reasons. But then, as a service, they can send a new plane to Laoag airport. Then the customers can hold their time schedule. Istead, they think of their own profit, and let all customers wait.
This is my last flight with Philippine airlines. They don't offer anything in order to make their customers satisfied.
