would recommend you use this company as they found me the best deal and delivered the goods as quickly as they could. They also kept me informed all through with emails and by phone of any complications and sorted them out promptly

Hooked by the CASH BACK?

Booked the phone on line via the Phones 4U wesite. Very competetive deal. The £15 cash back was a bonus and swung the deal. No mention thereafter. Contacted them 2 months later - no record. machine based response I assume says that I booked on the internet and there was no record of cashback. I KNOW that there was and this is disapointing and in some ways illegal due to the misrepresentation. Followed by time delays which are engineered to make it very foggy and serve to make it all "go away"
I will learn for any future purchase, it also leaves a bad taste - I will stay away from this supplier despite the cheaper prices.

Brilliant service all with no additional cost

Return my Samsung Galaxy 2 after having problems tried 1st fix to no avail second fix was a replacement thank you Bilston and Cannock.

Excellent service at a great price

I signed up to a new contract with Orange (through Phones 4 U) a couple of months ago, and I was extremely happy with the service Phones 4 U provided. The staff on the phone have always been happy and helpful, and every aspect of the transaction has been completely painless. I was so happy that last week I called them and ordered the same package for my wife who is chuffed to bits with her new smart phone.

oh what speed

I used to be with phones 4u i really dont know why I ever swapped. un complicated service, just a quick phone call and the phone, samsung s3 arrived virtually as I hung up the receiver.Sales man Rich (48055) totaly helpfull, fantastic package too and advised on their insuraance -covers it all, dont go with anyone else, bought this for my son's xmas prezzie will be picking up mine as soon as xmas is over. It makes a change for something to go right fora change well done guy's.

They offer great deals but good luck ever getting your phone or free gifts. Both myself and partner purchased upgrades through phones 4 u myself 2 months ago and partner 4 weeks and we are both still waiting for what we've been promised. Spent upwards of 5 hours trying to resolve through their customer service but not getting anywhere!
I wish anyone who decides to use them good luck!!

Great phone price, quick delivery, but applying (included) credit a nightmare. Poor Customer service.

Purchased a phone online, delivered within 2 days, all good so far but credit i bought with phone wouldnt register, o2 did their best to help but problem was with Phones 4 u codes etc. Phones 4 u customer service is just a joke, no answer, on hold for 20 minutes then cut off, twice!

great service until it came to getting my existing phone number transferred to new phone

The phone was ordered online and arrived fairly quickly. However, that was now more than a week ago and I have still not used the phone as I did not wish to have a new phone number and am STILL trying to get my existing phone number transferred to the new contract phone despite several emails to Phones4U and Vodafone.

Phone arrived in a damaged box, I am still trying to get a replacement nearly 3 weeks after the order and will probably not have an x mas present to give to my daughter.

well impresed!!..both ease of use and the phone is just what i wanted

i was looking for a phone that my wife and i could use she just wants to txt and talk and i wanted a bit more...we had a samsung it has just lasted 1 yr and now the touch screen has broken and it is now useless..hench the new phone...i know where i will go for my next phone,,, cos its 4 me!

VERY VERY UPSET AND STRESSED ABOUT THIS SITUATION.

Placed one order and received phone no problems. Tried placing a new order on 15th December 2012 online. Got email confirmation for new ipad , paid £230 via debit card and then £25 would be taken monthly, Got an email later in the day advising there was a problem and someone would contact me within 48 hours. I called Phones4u for reasons and was told that Orange would not take any further (credit check). My account still showing as minus £230. Advisor told me it would take between 7-10 days for me to have MY £230 back in my bank. This is not acceptable as I haven't cancelled the order it was rejected so no money should even be showing in my bank account. Advisor agreed but said there was nothing he could do. I rang my bank to ask what could be done and they advised me to contact Phones4U again to ask them to send a fax to the Halifax stating my details etc so MY MONEY would be refunded immediately to MY BANK ACCOUNT. Phones4U would not do this for me. Halifax yold me to ring them back if this happened and it would then be processed through the fraud department. Halifax very very helpful and have completed the necessary form to ensure I GET MY MONEY back before the 7-10 days. Bearing in mind the time of year too , this is MY MONEY and was cancelled by yourselves so should not of even been pending in my bank. I am disgusted at this very poor service and I feel at this moment in time that I will be writing to the papers or even Watchdog about this situation. Why make people upset and stressed unnecessarily especially when it is my money not yours. My contact number is 01744815522.

Nice people, terrible service!

As I am writing this, I am sat without a phone. I am a new customer and after much deliberation, decided to go for the Galaxy S111 on contract with O2. I was sent an email promising that my phone will be delivered on 8th Dec before 1PM via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Today is the 15th Dec and still no phone has turned up. I received a tracking number (which turned out to be wrong after telling me that my phone is in Wimbledon, approx 250 miles away from where i live) and after phone Phones4U head office, was told that I had refused delivery (load of rubbish) and that the phone was being sent back to them. I was then given the choice of cancelling the contract if I wished or sitting tight and wait for Royal Mail to get their backsides into gear and send the phone back to them so that they can resend it to me. I even offered to travel to my local Phones4U to pick up a replacement (a round trip of 50 miles) but that was unacceptable to them. A new phone cannot be issued until the original one has been returned from Royal Mail. I rely heavily on my mobile as i have a disabled wife and the fact that I now have no phone and have no idea when it is going to be delivered is causing me no end of stress. Two of my friends ordered phones from other companies at the same time as myself and received their phones (via courier) within 48 hours. I know that this may seem a Royal Mail problem but the lack of understanding and the fact that I have to wait for a phone to be returned to them that I have not even been in receipt of, is unacceptable!

Quick delivery

The phone arrived very quickly, but unless you were experienced with a smart phone it was difficult to set up. There were no instructions unless you downloaded them from the net. We still have trouble switching on the cookies and accessing the net and loading apps.

Would recommend above the networks themselves great job..... Also got the same tarriff that was 37 from voda themselves was only 33 from phones for u and free set dre beats, not wi voda!!!! Ordered my phone on Friday from Phones4U as it was exclusive to them. The website said I would receive the phone within 3 working days. However, by the following Wednesday I'd heard nothing other than the fact my credit check had been cleared. I rang customer services, who told me that the phone was actually out of stock, but at no point was this communicated to me, either on the website of via email. I was then told the phone would be delivered to me on Tuesday, but after digging a little deeper, this was actually the date Phones4U were receiving the stock. I actually received the phone Saturday which was a nice surprise. Other than the lack of communication, the service was fine, and the phone excellent.

Amazing, even though there was a glitch...amazing!

I am a Blackberry lover and this phone is amazingly well suited to my needs. The first one i received was faulty, but that was replaced in a heartbeat. It's a convenient, light cute phone with all the necessary features and downloading apps are very easy.

5 Star Service, next day delivery

We have Ordered Galaxy Note2 our my son and it arrived next day. fast and reliable delivery. trusted worthy retailer. worth to buy a contract from Phones4U. only one problem Voice mail not a free, should be free for customer with contract.

Good service but orange shut down for the weekend: how come in 2012?

Came to the Westfield store at about 7pm on a Friday evening to get the S3 set up and the PAC code from Virgin etc transferred. After 5.30pm (I didn't know) Orange shut down for the weekend, so the transfer didn't come off- only with a temp number for the weekend. For a phone company to close down for a couple of days and not provide a 24hour service around the world is bonkers. You could farm off the service around the world to English speaking call centres around the world and offer this vital essential part. New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, India then UK, then Canada- and get the coverage.

Fast and reliable.

Buying from phones4u was simple to do and they provide all the information is right there set out clearly. They delivered early morning within 48 hours. The only downside that I found was that I couldn't choose the colour of my phone. Overall, they are great to buy from.

I waited for 4 long days then completed the 'chat' form and have been waiting for more than 24 hours.

I'm quite disappointed to say the least.

nice and easy from start to finish

The whole process was quick and easy ,a couple of days later I had a nice new phone and a new x box to boot.

Rubbish

Ordered two payg phones online. Was promised before I paid they would be sent next day via Royal Mail.
Received two e-mails - one for each order that these had been dispatched. This was 7th December 2012.
They or should I say one was sent by City Link and the other isn't traceable on any system. 8 phones calls later between myself and phones4u and myself and City Link and now its 13th December and still no delivery. Don't know if two items are in one parcel or one has been shipped but not received and the other has been 'forgotten' with way both items cost has been taken From my bank account !

Phones 4u need to react and keep me updated before I take legal advice !

Great value that could not be beaten elsewhere

I decided to purchase the iphone 5 with an O2 tariff but before taking up O2's offer I searched around to see if I could find a better offer. I discovered that at Phones4U they were offereing the phone at the same price but with a £5 saving on the same tariff whcih equates to £120 saving over the two year contract. Much better than O2 or anywhere else so would thoroughly recommend checking out Phones4U before proceeding with any phone deal. Once purchased phone arrived the next day as promised. Absolutely no problems

Abysmal - Now even worse than that!!!!!!

When I contacted your support(!) on Monday afternoon was told it could take up to 5 days – so why send the email above? This person also said they would check with me in 24 hours to see if it had arrived – I am still waiting for the call back.
I was also asked to ring an account manager (Richard) He WAS to locate the phone and get back to me either later that day or the following morning.– I am still waiting for his call.

I phoned again on Tuesday afternoon – still no phone. I was told this time it had been dispatched using City-Link and was given a tracking number. I could see it was due for delivery that day – It was on the van. No phone arrived.
Again why the e-mail saying it was with Royal Mail?
Wednesday – its back in City-Links sorting office, then back on the van. Still no phone.
Thursday – its back in City-Links sorting office – NOT on the van. Still no phone.
I phoned City-Link and was told it will not be delivered until Friday. That's a full week after it was ordered.
We will see if it arrives tomorrow.

I await your comments. Please do not pass the buck to City-Link. You chose to contract them to deliver your products and should have performed a due diligence on their abilities.

Will I recommend Phone4U. What do you think?Abysmal

The phone has arrived. Friday 2.30pm.
I have now found out that Phones4u have added the £10 credit to the new SIM - to make life easier - . MAGIC. This is a Xmas present I wanted the credit against the old existing SIM after the present had been given. Thanks for making my life harder. The help operator said it says this on the website. It may well do but why should I believe it, after all the rest of your communications are untrue. Then they cut the conversation.
They wouldn't know service if it jumped up and bit them.
What a complete waste of space this company is.
I would recommend ANYONE else above this shower. Never again.

really disappointed got sent wrong device

Got sent wrong device two weeks ago bin on the phone since than trying to send back to get the correct 1 and keep getting told that there is a bag in the post but still haven't had 1 yet can't get the right 1 that I want until phones 4 u's mistake is fixed, wanted the phone that comes with the galaxy note tablet 10.1 for my little boy for Xmas but got sent the galaxy tab 2 7.0" by the time it gets resolved my boy will probably get nothing for Xmas thanks.
