I used Photobox.co.uk for the first time to produce several copies of an A3 calendar with my own photos. Good design tools on their website, allowing you to put up to 3 photos into the main photo area for each month, and attach additional small photos to specific dates. You can crop photos easily to get the best out of each. I got some online chat help - very friendly and helpful. The calendars were produced and despatched within 2 days of ordering in December and arrived 2 days later. The photo reproduction was superb, and the whole feel of the calendars was of top quality. Highly recommended!
I ordered 3 items, only 2 were delivered, and of the 2 one was damaged through production.
I contacted customer services who resolved the issue immediately by resending the one missing item and replacing the one damaged item. They were very polite.
On this occasion I am not awarding 5 stars because I would have expected better standards to begin with, but in the end they put the problems right decently and there was very little friction.
I would buy from them again.
I have made so many photobooks, some prints, a calendar and a few sets of cards. Customer service is wonderful. I don't believe it is their fault it doesn't work well through Chrome, I have to use Explorer and it works brilliantly through that. I find customer service nearly always first class, they always follow up with a check to make sure all is well, and their dedication to making you 100% happy with your product is amazing. I have sent a book back that was damaged in transit, no quibbling and another book where the problem was in my computer's colour settings, they re printed at no extra cost. I have tried many other photo companies but Photobox is, in my opinion, the best on the market.
I had the misfortune on an offer from photobox ,spent 3 hours on web ,trying to upload photos for calender, speaking on chat numerous times with Tracie Currie ,poor customer service as saying will not upload photos from google chromebook ?saying i need to try different computer .Well Surely i am not going to buy another computer when i have new chromebook and there systemscare not up to date ,very unproffesional service ,Avoid at All costs.
I have been using photo box now for 6 years and since I go on many activity holidays, I prefer a flick type photo book then digital photos on computer and other techy places. I am totally committed to them and love every bit of books I have ordered. I have now 10 different books and others have commented several times on this as to quality and feel of it. As far as I am concerned the cost of the books represents a tiny investment to what is a life time memory and so I will carry o using their services for sure
I ordered a photo book after purchasing a voucher online - so it was really cheap. I had a couple of problems signing up and the called the help line - the people on the other end were fantastic and patiently helped me through the issues.I read a couple of reviews saying they were slow in delivering but I order my book and within a couple of weeks had it at my house. The photos look fantastic. I would definitely recommend and will use them again.
I ordered some stuff from Printerpix for last Christmas and it was a truly terrible experience and I will never order from them again. Thankfully my experience with Photobox was much better. The product (a photo album) arrived when they said it would and the quality was very good. Therefore I will be ordering from them again and would happily recommend them
I just colour calibrated my laptop screen for the first time using Spyder 4 pro and now the image on screen exactly matches my 12x8 Photobox prints on Fuji Crystal paper.
That means Photobox keep things calibrated on their machines.
Thats what really matters to me . Turnnaround time has been great. Only small negative comment is that there is no option to select ennlargements with a white border.
Having returned from our summer holiday, I really wanted to get the pictures printed and in an album, instead of just uploading to facebook and being pushed to the bottom of my timeline within a few weeks.
After seeing someones Photobook they made on Photobox, I thought I'd give it a go.
The site was easy/ish to use. Takes a bit of time to get used to it but once got the hang of it, I was fine. You can customise the book to however you want and chose so many different styles, I went for the A4 flat landscape book.
The only negative I can think of, is the processing time from ordering to receiving, if that was a bit quicker It'd be 5* from me although the quality of the book and the pictures are amazing and I still love flicking through it and showing it to people.
Hi, I would just like to say thanks for a fantastic speedy service! I got the pics of my new born baby less than 48 hours after uploading them.
My only criticism is that uploading pictures does not give the best possible user experience as many times I have tried to increase the number of prints on a given picture and the amount has just disappeared moments later.
Sort that small issue out and you'll haver the perfect platform for uploading pics. I will be using you for the next 16 years at least so please make it easier for me:-)
Photobox had a sale on so purchased vouchers that allow you to buy items at the sale price, but create your artwork within a month. I decided on the photo I wanted on my canvas and ordered it just before midnight on Saturday. It's now 10.20 on Monday and it's hanging on my wall. Impressed with service and end product, Looking forward to receiving my aluminium print very soon !
Ordered passport photos. Promise to dispatch same day but did not do so. Did not post out next day either. Sent email confirming dispatch on day 2 then a few hours later another apologising and advising not dispatched. Have to go out and find somewhere local quickly tomorrow to get them done. Very unreliable and unprofessional.
I have ordered a few photo books from Photobox and always look out for their offers. I'm not sure I will use them again though after this evening. I spent ages - all evening uploading, tweeking and finishing off a book of my Granddaughters first year and needed to order by midnight to get the 2 for 1 offer. I thought - "great. a book for me and one for my daughter"! It got to 11.50 and i put in my promo code but low and behold, I needed to add more pages to my book to qualify. That will teach me to read the small print! I am fed up with being hoodwinked by Companies and their tactics. Headline grabbing promo offers etc that hook you in and then disappoint. Cant be bothered now to order my book - lost the will!!!
Been using this company for prints for about a year now but the service i got on my latest order was Outstanding! Normally, the service from Photobox is good but this time was Amazing! From me pressing Order on the website of a rather large canvas to it being delivered took less than 38 Hours which is brilliant! The quality of the print is the usual perfect standard and colours look lovely on the canvas! Also a plus is they used DPD to ship the canvases which mean you get the predict service so an hour timeslot is given and from experience it's always in that hour slot! Very Well Done! :)
I've been using Photobox as as a photo sharing and printing site for years, even before the advent of Facebook to share them! Since then I've had a child so have ordered bespoke photobooks for grandparents for the last 4 years each Xmas who live abroad, and have always been impressed by the service and speed.
The only issues with quality have been if my photos weren't that good in the first place - eg: downloaded from Facebook as opposed to my own originals, and their site warns you if they're bad quality so you can choose whether to go ahead and order or not.
Last Xmas I pre-ordered a large canvas on a reduced price deal, while awaiting some copies of photos from a friend which I knew contained a few cracking shots. I was supposed to use the credit within 30 days but didn't get the photos in that time so rang them up & asked if they could extend the period which they did happily, so I now have an amazing canvas on my wall which makes me smile every time I see it.
First time I order prints on internet, and I'm really dissapointed. The delivery was fast, but some of the pictures were really dark (even the one took in a sunny day were dark), some were blurred, on other print the picture were cut (people without head).....
to sum up on the 192 prints I order, I received may be 20 correct prints. A very bad experience with Photobox.
I will never order again with them.
Have, in the last four months, purchased 23 A4 Personalised 100 page Photobooks from Photobox. All top quality. Had an issue with a couple of Photobooks that did not arrive - called Photobox - spoke with a woman who was extremely helpful and courteous. No problem. They were reprinted and sent within one week at no additional cost. I am recommending Photobox to all my friends. Keep up the good work Photobox.
Ordered the canvas print and the driver delivered it to the wrong address. The parcel is not traceable and the driver cannot find where he delivered the parcel. Refused to give me the refund and had to go through my credit card company, never use photobox, one of the worse company i have ever seen on the internet........
Beware with the photobox and there delivery service, you definately gonna get cheated..............
I have used many different companies including Photobox, Snapfish, foto.com, allposters.co.uk and vistaprint and I always use Photbox given the experience. The quality of the prints is really very high, the amount of products on offer is very good - and the Ryan Air style mass sales technique at the end (YES YOU VISTAPRINT!) is just right - not pushy - a level of service that is unrivalled.
Keep up the good work!
I ordered passport photos for my babys passport and needed them as a matter of urgency. I chose to do it through photobox as they could crop any photo and it saved me the hassle of doing it myself on one of those self service machines in the supermarkets.Plus with a young baby it seemed easier to do it online. I'm currently living in Germany and paid for the international priority shipping, which should have taken 1-2 working days. I placed my order on a Tuesday 7th Jan and one week on still no passport photos. I spoke to four different people over the phone who quite honestly didnt care. I had the cost of the order and delivery refunded to me but the level of customer service was appauling. I was hung up on the first phone call and the second person I spoke to said he would contact the shipping company and would get back to me but never did!!!! The third girl I spoke to was coughing and spluttering down the phone and just said well theres no tracking number and went quite. Thats not my probelm! The fourth person I spoke to seemed shocked that I wanted the cost of the order refunded as it was only £2.99. He was very sarcastic. Your staff obviously dont want to be there and dont care about their job. I have now had to find alternative ways to get the passport photos, and will probably miss out on taking my baby home for a family party as her passport will take up to 8 weeks to come. Photobox have missed out as I was going to order alot of prints from them but they have now lost my custom. I will never use again and urge others not too.
I ordered a lay-flat book and a few canvas' from Photobox and when I received them I was really happy to see everything looked very professionel and lived up to my expectations.
Unfortunately the glue on the book binding had a production error, so I contacted Photobox. They responded promptly and solved the issue to the best of my expectations.
I will be buying from Photobox again.
I created a book as a gift and purchased it with a Groupon token, I have had to ask for a re-print 3 times because of glaring quality issues. The first book printed black squares where I had filled in the boxes with white images because I wanted blank pages, the second book had inky roller marks on many pages and the third copy I have just received has RED TAPE stuck over a page and a whole page that has been scribbled on with black marker (and printing quality issues) and that was after I was assured that the factory would check the book this time before sending it to me! I have now sent them images of this one and am asking for a 4th copy, Lets see what happens this time!
Apart from the ridiculous quality issues customer services has been very good, always answering my emails quickly and promptly sending out the replacement copies
I ordered a birthday card expecting it to be sent out on the same day like most other online card sites, but only to be disappointed. The printing was going to take 3 days and then expected delivery up to 4 days later. Fortunately I was given a refund by the very helpful customer services. If you want a quick card, stick with moonpig.
Photobox ROCKX ! I have been using them for some time now and they never ever fail to deliver. I do custom graphics and their online tool is awesome and easy to use. Their canvases are freaking awesome with top notch quality as advertised. Good delivery time, very good packaging and overall great customer service. Love this company to bits :-)
I'm on my 5th year of family calendars and can thoroughly recommend Photobox. The picture quality is really good, even on old photos that I was a bit wary about using. The paper and colour quality is excellent.
Four years on, there is no sign of any loss of colour, or fading, and I'm just now composing a photobook for my youngest daughter's 40th birthday. The other 2 books that I did were a great success, with photos from birth up to 40 all being of equal quality.
I have been with Photobox for more than 10 years - used them when I was living back in the UK and still using them now here in Lanzarote. The quality of the photos, paper and products is great and the prices good (for photos & posters etc.), although some of the photo gifts seem a little overpriced.
The cool thing is that you can create most stuff yourself. I have made calendars, cups, fridge magnets, key rings and other things myself - the one suggestion I would have is, if it was possible to upload your *own* design rather than using the Photobox templates, that would be great. :)
Photobox were very helpful when it came to putting my photobook together, and I am delighted with the results. I later had some photo enlargements done and was unhappy witt the way one of the them was cropped, but Photobox replaced it immediately, at no charge, just how I wanted it, and checked up with me that I was happy with the result. At the same time I had a bad experience with another photobook company, and their customer service made me feel like I was just an annoyance. With Photobox, I feel like I'm a customer that really matters, and THAT is what keeps me coming back.
order was despached quickly and efficiently, i had an aissue with my order (my own fault) photobox very understanding and quickly sorted it out for me. follow up call to check everything ok too. very friendly, great quality product and service, recommended!!
I have ordered a range of products (calendars/prints/canvas/cards/photobooks) many times from this site. The service I have received is second to none. Items are delivered quickly, well packaged and of great quality. Customer service sorted out any issues quickly and to my satisfaction (damage to canvas and photobook - items reprinted and sent asap at no further cost to me). I would recommend photobox 100%.
