disappointed
light will mot stay on unless you hold the button and then only stays lit for 5 seconds. Also light is supposed to blink at various speeds. Following instructions it does not blink at all.

Ok, I'm sorry I'm screaming. But, really don't wast your hard earned money on the fakes and phonies out there. The last Photon I had lasted five years of travel through several countries, states and vacations. It still worked I just gave it to my daughter. I expect the same superior performance out of this one. Know what? It's really rare these day that a product really lives up to it's claims. This one does. Thanks a million Photon.

brilliant product with service to match!
I ordered a photon micro light after scouring the web for the best flashlight to carry with you always, and photon kept coming up. The light is tiny but with the functionality of a full size light. Brilliant! The package arrived as ordered but faster than hoped, a perfect combination.

PhotonLight.com is my go to place for battery power

DId not work as intended.
The IR photon light was very unsatisfactory when trying to use with my ATN Scout binoculars. Do not buy for night vision uses.

Fantastic little light!
The Photon Freedom is a fantastic little light. It is an excellent choice for “ultra light” backpackers or simply as a keychain light. Ergonomically this light is small, simple and fits the hand well. However, without the chain there seems to be a tendency to feel it is too small and may become lost. Additionally, the color doesn’t lend itself to being found to easily. An array of body color choices would be helpful, such as lime green or orange. The “covert” version of this light protects the user from excess spill, making it more suited to focus on specific objects rather then just providing ambient light. The regular version would best be suited for a tent, or to light up a room. The quality and construction seems well done. Without taking it “through the paces” yet, it’s found to be durable and waterproof. Perhaps this stems from the three greatest words: MADE IN USA! The Freedom is multifunctional and is easy to cycle through all functions. Also, the simplicity of the constant on off makes this a favorite of the line. There is a “hat” clip and necklace included with the Freedom and both are nice additions. The weight and battery removal has not been tested. Overall the Photon Freedom is a great buy especially for the reasonable price tag, speedy delivery and good customer service. Truely a great company and great product.

Biggest little light in the world.
I bought my first light over three years ago and carry it on my key chain. I use it several times and day. And then i lost it..and i was lost with out it. Found one exactly like it on your web site and now it's all good again. Thanks.

Can't be out after dark without it!
This light is perfect - it's white so it's easy to find in my purse, the light is bright, the clip makes it easy to take on and off my keychain. As usual, Photon offers another terrific product!

Fast, responsive customer service
I ordered some Christmas gifts in December. The shipping company was having some issues with their online tracking system not updating. I emailed PhotonLight and they got back to me immediately. They took full responsibility for the problem, even though it was the shipping company's fault.
I received my shipment in perfect time for Christmas. I really appreciated the fast and responsive service that PhotonLight offered.

Freedom Photonlight not half as good as Photonlight 11
A great shame that the Photonlight "Freedom" doesn't match up to the Photonlight 2..
It switched on and stayed on in my pocket unknown to me, because It must have been accidently pressed, and unlike the model 2 stays on when pressed until it's pressed again to switch it off..
It now fails to flash properly. Great shame as I have a number of Photon twos which are really good.
Sending the "Freedom" back means returning it to the US from the UK. with added postage ect..

Nothing but Goodness with Photon lights!
Been using the micro lights for more than a decade. On the key chain. At work for a quick and clearer look. On the trail as an ultralight headlamp. These little gems are also great gifts for those gadget minded friends and family.
I still use my original photon with switch from 2000. Recently I asked Photon about the cost for a replacement bulb as it seemed even with new batteries it was a bit dimmer than it should be. Well not only did they send a bulb, they sent screws and switch for nothing. That's the kind of service which makes loyal customers!
To sum it up, I must say that this little gem is ALL GOOD!

photon keychain light exceeds expectations
I ordered the x-light micro online because they do not carry it at REI anymore unfortunately. I had previously purchased one for my wife's keychain a couple years back, and was so impressed by the light output and features that I had to get one for myself. I am very pleased with the light and it came in the mail in a few days or so. I would definitely recommend this light.

Big light, small package
You can't go wrong with this compact (size of a quarter) very powerful low light illumination device. Reasonably prices, infinitely portable and long battery life. Excellent quality and filled the bill. I highly recommend this product.

Small, Lite, Ready!
I recently purchased a Photon Freedom with Red LED for hiking and camping.
I like it so much that I keep it on the bed stand to use in the middle of the night.
The red light doesn't wake anyone up, and with the clip attachment I can clip it to my PJ's

I got exactly what I needed
I purchased a PhotonLight a few years ago and this Christmas my daughter asked for one just like (actually three). I went back to the store where I purchased it and they no longer carried that particular keychain light. The others did not meet my needs either having a lower output, were cumbersome to use, or had a switch that required constant pressing to remain 'on.' I did a search on-line and found what I felt was the same product I'd originally purchased. It was and it was delivered in a timely fashion. My only nit is that the packaging could be simplified, but it was not the worst I've had to open.

Very fast delivery & a good product so far.
The light shipped out really fast & i recieved my light a lot sooner than most companies would have . Went out of the way to make my order right!

My first choice when Backpacking Light and it also works perfect as EDC!
The Photon Micro-Light II is light and bright and I really appreciate the simplicity. This Micro-Light will not accidently switch on in your pocket, resulting in empty batteries! I also have a back-up Micro-Light II in my backpack. The extra 7 gram will definitely not kill me!

Great delivery service and a fantastic product.
I had actually ordered two sets of the P7 and P3 combination package and thought I would be waiting a very long time for them to arrive where I work in Malaysia, but that was not the case. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived after only one week. They are really worth the wait. So my friend and I are very happy. Being in security I find the P7 of great value for nightshift and have already put it to good use. Even for some uses during dayshift and it provides a really good light. The P3 will be very handy for general use out of work time.

The photonlight makes your future do bright, u have to wear shades
Been a customer( a Happy one) for several years and counting. I started with the proton 1, and worked my way to the freedom. Exceptional service and quality. Small , light weight, it goes everywhere with me. Always have fresh batteries available ( the eve ready ones) . What a light, how bright, u will never need another personel light, that's right.

A tough, reliable product at a reasonable price
I can't begin to count all the uses I've found for these products. Hunting, working in tight, dark places, etc, etc. The products deliver an astounding amount of light and features, and always work. They are relatively easy to change batteries on, and I've never had a problem with their service. Thumbs WAY up.

handy to carry, great to brightly illuminate
My first Photon Light was given to me, several years ago, as a gift. Since that day, it has always been with me. It has been a HUGE help on numerous occasions. It is a FANTASTIC product, works every time, bright light in a tiny package, and it is durable.
I strongly recommend Photon Light(s), don't settle for "inexpensive" substitutes! This is the real deal...
They make great gifts, whenever I give one I always get wonderful comments and a BIG "THANK YOU!"

Sheer Genius in Micro Lighting technology!
A must have for all adventurers, especially in the dark winter period, I have attached mine to the zipper on my jacket so I know exactly where it is and no fumbling around trying to find it in a pocket. Just one easy press, even in gloved hands, and instant light!

Simple is better
I own several of the older design of these lites and I have been very pleased, but this new design... I had the uv model and after hard use I could not turn it off and after tring to replace the battery the connector/batteryholded secame to a case of metal fatuge. Sometimes simple is better.
