There is nothing worse than the biggest exam of your life... Besides a broken toilet and the biggest exam of your life!
Stephen Fry is a brilliant plumber, he came promptly and knew instantly what the problem was and started to fix it, even though he had to dismantle the whole thing working around delicate fixtures and previous corrections. Not only was it fixed perfectly and quickly, I was given useful advice and helpful preventions.
Other than being a knowledgable, efficient plumber, Stephen was great to chat to whilst being incredibly professional and i would defiantly recommend him to anyone looking for a all-round brilliant plumber.
I am a managing agent of many properties but for some reason have not crossed paths with you. I don't do things on the cheap and have been using a Fulham firm which let me down big time. They claimed that they could not get the immersion element off a hot tank and OK I paid and changed a complete hot tank and then immediately after the work the Stuart Turner pump failed to work and they wanted to charge me big money for changing it. OK I said and they would have done it had they not made me wait for over a week! I got you in with the instruction of asking you change the pump for me but your Nick Crotter assessed the issue as the pipework having been messed up during the hot tank installation and he corrected everything for me efficiently saving me a new expensive pump, Just like doctors, a plumber has to be able to give correct (and honest) diagnosis and he is absolutely spot on. I wish Nick could do all my work from now on!
We have been using Pimlico Plumbers for all plumbing and electrical works for the past 10 years or more. They are fantastic. They arrive on time and if they are running late you will get a call and be notified, they always stay until the job is completed to your satisfaction and go out of there way to make sure you are happy.
We recently had Dan Brown an electrician come to our property to look at some issues with our down lights and it was not a straight forward problem. Dan persevered with the problems until he resolved the matter. This required numerous phone calls to manufacturers and regarding lights and dimmers etc, which proved to be very worthwhile as his investigations ensured the job was completed correctly.
Sadly today this type of service is a rarity and not the norm.
If i have any other electrical problems i will be asking for Dan to be assigned the job.
He was polite, thorough and went out of his way to ensure the job was done properly.
You have to use Pimlico Plumbers.
Sean O'Sullivan is a throwback to a previous generation. His standards of what he considered acceptable were impossible to criticise. I have not been as impressed with anyone's work as much for many years. In addition he is polite, helpful and undemanding. He refuses to allow work less than perfect to be done. I was continually amazed at the amount of work he managed in a day while maintaining such a high standard. Anyone lucky enough to have him working in their house will I'm sure be just as impressed as I was. I'm grateful to him for restoring my faith in British workmen.
He is a credit to the standards of Pimlico Plumbers
Our plumber Nick quilter went above and beyond the call of duty today. He was able to source a replacement boiler immediately following the call out this morning, and was ready to fit it, when there was an issue with the water supply. Following various calls to Thames Water, during which Nick was unable to continue with installing the new boiler, he was calm, friendly and knowledgable. He stayed until 8pm, even though he could have packed up and returned the following day. He even liaised with the men who came to dig up the road, as well as reassuring other neighbours in the building that all would be fixed soon. Very happy with the service
We have suffered a water leak in our bathroom. On a couple of visits to resolve the problem Pimilico Plumbers sent us Joseph Bonner and Bill Kirby. They both worked extremely hard and to the highest professional standards. Our bathroom now looks very good, with a complete new floor, after their repair work. There were some frustrations with the office on arranging their visits but once they arrived we were very pleased and satisfied with work carried out. They were also very clean and tidy and made sure things were properly cleaned before they left. If possible we wold request them again for any other plumbing or carpentry needs.
Despite popular opinion that Pimlico Plumbers can be more expensive than many outfits, I booked an appointment anyway finally having had enough of the useless excuses for 'tradesmen' that had darkened my door up until now trying to fix an ongoing plumbing problem.
Steven Osbourne arrived bang on time at 8am, despite me only having called their London office 12 hours before. He was professional, friendly and efficient. Identified the problem immediately, picked up the parts and completed the work within 90 minutes.
The whole experience was a complete breath of fresh air and well worth the hourly rate. The piece of mind and sense of relief I felt from finally having the issues fixed by someone whose judgement I immediately trusted was most welcome.
Well worth every penny, and having discovered a company with a service head and shoulders above the rest, I would not hesitate to book them again for future jobs.
I would recommend Kelly Bennett and Drew Perry extremely highly for the work they have done fitting a new boiler and hot water system and checking and upgrading my electrical system. The information and advice they provided was excellent, and I am very pleased with my new system. They always arrived when expected, their work was carried out efficiently and neatly and to a very high standard, and they were both a pleasure to work with. Kelly also organised for Bill to refit shelves in the boiler cupboard, who also provided excellent service. This complete service and access to a range of services was a huge advantage of dealing through Pimlico Plumbers.
I am very happy with Pimlico Plumbers and in particular Adam Patterson. Adam fitted a new boiler for me in a confined space and consulted me throughout the work and did a very neat job I would be proud of myself. He gave me good advice on a thermostat and showed me the operations and settings before leaving. Adam was also punctual and a pleasure to deal with. Top marks! John
David came to solve a problem with my radiators. He went away to purchase elements and came early the next morning to fit the parts. He was clean and tidy, and very charming. He did his best to ensure that the job did not take longer than needed. It was extremely hot, but there was no complaint. He completed a fantastic job and I will definitely use Pimlico Plumbers again.
I cant fault the service I've received from William Walsh at Pimlico Plumbers. He is reliable, personable, an excellent communicator, extremely hard working, thorough, pays extreme attention to detail and was a pleasure to have in my flat. His knowledge everything bathroom related is outstanding and I always felt he had my best interests in mind when carrying out a complete refurb of my bathroom. His tiling & plumbing skills are top quality.
If you want a job done superbly, I would recommend William at Pimlico Plumbers without a shadow of a doubt. My bathroom nightmare has turned into a dream bathroom! Thanks William :)
My partner and I were due to be moving in somewhere without hot water in the bath or shower.
The first time Drew came, he and I were waiting for over an HOUR outside of the property waiting for the horrific estate agents Brinkleys to arrive. Obviously after the first 20 minutes or so he apologised profusely but did say he would have to start billing from now for us waiting (which I knew would be the case and was not his fault!) It wasn't a warm day, and he could have buggered off to his van but he patiently waited with me on the steps for them to arrive!
After a long wait, Drew was able to take a look at the problem and clearly diagnosed a couple of possible problems that we had to feed back to the estate agents. He also informed me that the shower system was not one he saw regularly and he would need to research it to know if he could even find the parts for our clearly dodgy system left in from the owner before!
As time was of essence for us, he took pictures straight away and told me he would let me know as soon as he found the necessary parts whilst we had to wait to hear back from the estate agents.
He came back in less than 24 hours and said if we wanted to order it, he could do it for us straight away and get it all (hopefully) fixed by the end of the week (when we were due to move in!).
In the end Drew came back a further two times to sort it for us due to the nature of the beast! He was always so polite, friendly, helpful, professional, arrived dead on time, patiently explained things a couple of times to me (as I have little understanding of how a valve etc works (!) ) and most importantly fixed the problem so we could take a bath and shower in our new home!
He pointed out clearly all our price options and went through exactly what he had done and why, which I may add was always off the clock and after he had created the bill, so it wasn't just a case of spending time with us to bill more, just in case you were wondering! Answering my many feeble questions :-)
I would not hesitate to call Pimlico again for Drew and would highly recommend him and the overall service and I had with Pimlico to anyone in need! Go Drew!
My life has been plagued by the weirdest toilet flushing system known to man since I moved into my otherwise lovely flat in Bermondsey two years ago. My landlord, who's a nice chap bless him, kept getting his mates in every time the cistern had a tantrum (about every two months) - requiring (ahem) physical intervention to get the flaming thing to flush when it chucked its toys out of the pram.
A call to Pimlico this morning resulted in a very nice (and might I add - very cute and nice looking) visit from one David Harris barely an hour later. As I expected the weirdest plumbing arrangement known to man required a lot of thought, quite a bit of innovation and a considerable degree of perseverance that took most of the day. Hurrah! I now have a toilet that works properly and will continue to do so. And David is welcome for another visit any time :) !
Bill Kirby came by to fix my leaking shower. It was a very old set up with very old plumbing. The pipes were difficult to get to but Bill investigated and found the problem very swiftly. and with the same speed and efficiency rectified the problem. Although it was a big job that created a lot of mess, Bill cleared everything up and you would never have known there was ever a problem with the shower. I am thrilled with the work Bill has done and will call him now for any plumbing or carpentry problems/jobs i have in the future. Very trustworthy and great value for money.
Stephen Fry and Chris Wood worked for full day dismantling my Mews house to replacing an ancient leaking hot water tank. Very hard to get at and very old leaky plumbing. All fixed and working much better than before. They even hovered up and left the Mews looking better than when they arrived. Thanks for a job well done!
Damien, the plumber, came on a Sunday, as arranged. He was extremely efficient and courteous and fixed the problem without wasting any time. He also removed all the rubbish and left the room as he had found it. Finally, the price was extremely reasonable for a Sunday call-out.
After calling out two damp specialists - because we were experiencing damp on our walls and swelling door frames - we called Pimlico Plumbers and they sent Andrew Roberts. Within minutes Andy was certain that we had an under floor leak and the next day he drained the system and found that we did indeed have a leak. Andy was professional and explained everything so clearly. He is the best plumber we've had and will request him to mend the broken pipe!
I had a problem with my bath draining. I had already called in two plumbers - a local plumber and a national company who specialise in clearing drains. Neither of them were willing to tackle the root of the problem as access was difficult and involved removing a wooden panel set into a limestone surround. Pimlico said no problem and sent one of their team - David Hoar - who specialises in carpentry as well as plumbing. Not only did he source the problem and replace the faulty pipework but he also sourced a brand new piece of bath panel to replace the existing worn laminated wood. He was absolutely charming and highly professional, there was no mess and the end finish was seamless and left my bathroom looking better than it had done originally. You may pay a little more for pimlico but they are undoubtedly worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
I have had reason to call Pimlico Plumbers twice in the last month to unconnected issues and once again I was delighted with the service provided.
I had a new boiler installed today by Kelly Bennett. He was friendly, knowledgeable, clearly expert on this and with a very positive attitude. The work was done effectively and very professionally. He spent a few hours in the kitchen dealing with the issue in question as well as helping with a couple of things which were not a part of the project (bathroom lights etc). At the end he cleaned up the place leaving the kitchen in exactly the same state as before. It was generally a very positive experience working with a person who combined professionalism and a friendly, positive, can-so attitude. Therefore, I would strongly recommend Pimlico Plumbers for anyone thinking of installing a new boiler.
I don't have much technical knowledge so I won't rate on their technical part but I do have sound knowledge on customer service so I would say the Customer service of this company is outstanding. They do sort things out going an extra mile. So no need to worry if problem arises as they got great customer service team.
Pimlico Plumbers fitted our boiler four years ago and service it every year. They have provided excellent service throughout. They tell you what they are going to do, how much it will cost and then do it to a high standard. The engineers are well-trained and friendly and willing to explain anything you're not sure about.
We're extremely pleased with our new boiler installation. It was not a straightforward job but Pimlico Plumbers took the time to work with us to find the best solution in the end. Excellent work by the entire team!
Luke at Pimlico Plumbers repaired a complicated water leak at our house yesterday 29th May which involved removing plaster and cornices, He tracked the source of the leak very efficiently and repaired it having gone out to buy all the parts required. Luke was absolutely superb and at the end of a lengthly, demanding and tricky job cleaned up thoroughly all the plaster, brickdust and debris from the walls and ceilings. We are most grateful for Luke's excellent work and also for the visit to our house yesterday by Kelvin Morrison, Technical Service Manager at Pimlico Plumbers
We had a chap called Luke Lawrence to look at our boiler, on which the pilot light kept going out, he had a really good look at the boiler, tweaked a couple of things so hopefully the problem is resolved. I was very impressed with Luke and he kindly took at look at, and fixed, a problem outdoor tap while he was here - very kind and generous of him. I would definitely recommend Luke and use Pimlico Plumbers again. Thanks.
Phoned today (May 25th) for a job on the toilet. Was expecting they would come next week (as with most services), but they came within 1 hour of calling. Job was completed by a chap named Daniel Turner who is a really nice guy and awesome at his job. So top marks. Will use again if I have any future problems.
Ryan Armani was friendly, knowledgable and let me know what the options were for the repair. Pimlico Plumbers aren't cheap but the charges are transparent in advance and the experienced and effective plumber did a great job. I'm happy to recommend and will use Pimlico Plumbers again.
This is 2nd company I called to two plumbing faults. The 1st company was unable to even attempt to resolve the problems.
Simon Clegg of Pimlico Plumbers attended at the appointed time. Diagnosed the faults, advised on different options to resolve & then completed quick professional tidy Job.
Expensive but you get what you pay for.
Glenn Rutledge was a calming influence immediately he entered my home. I was in a panic from a water leak that was flooding my bathroom late at night. He quickly switched off the water flow and talked through solutions of the lead issue in a reassuring, knowledgeable and calming manner. It was a huge relief and I'm so grateful to the professional, friendly service.
Pimlico Plumbers aren't the cheapest of emergency call out companies but when something suddenly goes wrong with the electrics, you want someone who really knows what they are doing, is calm, courteous and communicative but looks on the positive side of things. Daniel Brown from Pimlico Plumbers was all this and more when he arrived at my flat to try to sort out my confusing electrical problem. He didn't stop problem solving or working from the moment he arrived to the moment he left and was prepared to go the extra mile. His positive attitude was the perfect thing to calm my anxieties and his excellent skills and experience as an electrician were quickly clear as he isolated the problem as quickly as he could and then set about rectifying it. Within minutes, I trusted that he knew what he was doing and that he was suggesting the best options for me but never forcing me into a decision I wasn't happy with. I can't think of a way this call out could have been better.
My plumber Luke turned up half an hour early – good start. He diagnosed the problem instantly, which turned out to be something minor. He asked if I had anything else he could help me with. I had a couple little things which had nothing to do with the main problem, but he helped me anyway. I have used Pimlico Plumbers before about five years ago and was pleasantly surprised their standards had not spilt - wonderful service. I will be recommending them to all my family, friends and colleagues at work.
Just had my boiler and gas appliances serviced by Ryan at Pimlico Plumbers. Never used them before but decided to try them out after my mum heard a glowing report on the news a while ago. Turned up on time AND with a smile and was so super helpful and lovely - how refreshing! I shall be recommending them to anyone who'll listen. Thank you!
I have used them time and again for carpentry, building works, electricals and decorating and the stand is always excellent. They are expensive but if you want a company that is reliable turns up on time and high quality of workmanship then they are the right fit for you. The guy I used recently was Steven Farlow for some carpentry work and he typified they approach. Did the work swiftly, was friendly and the finish was professional AND he hoovered up after himself.
A combined CCTV, jet washing, bit of "know how"and DIY tools was a perfect recipe for a brick blocking my drain. Dave clearly knew what he was doing and his chatty personality was as much appreciated as the quality of his work. I intend to use the Pimlico plumbers for all my future requirements but hopefully not too soon.
We'd had enormous problems with our boiler and over a few weeks 6 different people came out to look at it and give us estimates. Woke up one morning to find water leaking out of it and into the floor. Called Pimlico plumbers in a total stress, within half an hour of my call they sent Luke Lawrence round, he gave me a reasonable quote and set to work replacing my boiler straight away. He was friendly, helpful and very pleasant, was in my house for 2 whole days and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. The boiler replacement was excellent and he even took a look at a problem I have with my shower before he left and gave me suggestions on how to cope with the problem. Excellent guy, excellent service, excellent boiler. Very pleased.
