Efficient, knowledgeable, helpful... but expensive
Arrived on time (to the minute). Had a good look at the boiler & gave me a knowledgeable & helpful explanation, in layman's terms, of the problem. Gave me a number of options, answering my questions with no pressure to chose the most expensive option. Worked consistently for 7 hours & was friendly when providing an explanation of the work he was completing. Cleaned up after the job & left the work area in the same, if not better, condition as he found it.

Emergency Response Stellar, Building work Awful !
We have had many experiences with your 24 call out staff and they have been fantastic ! The electricians and the roofing people have been outstanding, i cant speak highly enough of them.
Based on our experience with your call out staff we decided to choose Pimlico Plumbers to refurbish all our bathrooms, probably about 40k worth of work. First, we found it difficult through the switchboard to narrow down an appointment, then we were told no quote would be given unless we had a real intention of carrying forward the job. We accepted all this, and charged forward, met the management people who came over and quoted on the jobs.
We then tried to move the work forward and get it done. First, the appointments booked through the switchboard again, did not match the actual appointments, one no show meant we ended up dealing directly with the plumber himself rather than through the switchboard (the plumber advised us this was the best course of action). We then had a text from the plumber saying he could start work, but we hadn't seen any fittings, so we asked if we could see some brochures, duly delivered, we then asked when he could be available.
This seemed impossible to lock down, and after a couple of texts telling us he was free at certain times with short notice where we couldn't be available, i asked if he could give us a couple of months notice, we never heard from him again. So we have awarded a much larger contract to another building firm for the roof, bathrooms and kitchen extension. We shall still use Pimlico on call out as you were excellent, but i have to say, every person we had visit us complained about the organisation of booking and awarding jobs, and the impression one gets is of a disconnected group of individuals rather than a large corporation linked and organised.

Excellent Service
Our flat needed a complete refurbishment and, as we live 300 miles away, this was not going to be easy. We decided to use Pimlico because they were able to oversee and co-ordinate everything for us. They took delivery of materials to their yard and took them to the flat. They gave us a work schedule and stuck to it and referred to us throughout (many thanks Calvin and Drew). We were very pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to use again and we thoroughly recommend Pimlico Plumbers.

Great service in a world of lousy service
Pimlico Plumbers are always, friendly, efficient and competent. They tell you when they're coming, phone when they're on the way, set times that are convenient to their customers and arrive when they say they will.
They fix your plumbing, gas and anything else that needs fixing ... nothing's too much trouble.
Most service providers could learn a lot from shadowing a Pimlico Plumber.
I have used PP on a few occasions, with the same high-quality experience. Luke Lawrence is my most recent experience of PP. He provided exceptional service and I heartily recommend Luke and the team for all your plumbing and gas needs.

Great service. Fast and friendly!
I had 4 ceiling spotlights installed a couple of years ago really badly by a random electrician I found online. The bulbs had burned out but were totally unremovable. Adam Gardener, from Pimlico Plumbers came within a couple of hours of me placing my call and happily went out of his way to source the right fittings I needed for replacement without charging me for his extra travelling time. He explained safety things to me in lay man's terms and even advised me on other possible electrical updates in my flat. He even patched over the damage done to my ceiling by the dodgy electrician who badly installed the spotlights before.I did have a quote that worked out a bit cheaper than Pimlico but I got totally ripped off recently by a "Rated People" electrician who took £320 but didn't do the job and ran off with my cash saying he had to go get more supplies to do the job. Another electrician on the phone said he would turn up to do the job (but he was never available on days I needed him ) and it depended on what I looked like! What!!??! I know he was trying to be funny but I'm just looking for a professional,not a wide boy.So from now on I will only go with Pimlico. You get what you pay for. My lights now look great.Thanks Adam.

Very prompt and efficient
When my boiler packed up Pimlico Plumbers were able to send a heating engineer around in a hour. The 10% discount on their hourly rate meant that the price was on par with other quotes. Steve Fry (the plumber) was able to diagnose and solve a couple of complications quickly and efficiently. I'm very happy with the work done.

Call Damien McEnvoy, the best of plumbers

Absolutely wonderful service
We have been using Pimlico Plumbers for the last few years and for a variety of different jobs in our office. Almost without exception we have had excellent service from each and every Pimlico worker, and only once needed to have recourse on a job which was resolved very quickly.
Pimlico are top of our list without a doubt. We were so delighted with the service that we wrote last year to Mr. Mullins!

You pay for what you get... the best service!
Having been fobbed off and messed around for years decided to go for the apparent best, Pimlico Plumbers. We were warned of the expense (which infact isn't anywhere near as expensive as can be led to believe, found the cost very reasonable) and what you get for that is the very best service you could have hoped for. Outstanding workmanship, a real feeling that the company cares for the quality of the work, this proved by a visit by a quality controller whilst the work is being carried out - Sam who carried out the work was an awesome chap, totally professional but a good laugh also! Not wishing to embarrass him, but a total credit to Pimlico! Will never call anyone else ever again, the very best service available bar absolutely non. 10/10 A*** * ***

Well worth the money, friendly, quality and reliable
We've used Pimlico for several jobs since moving into our new home and also in our previous property. They are always very good. Easy to contact through head office, friendly employees, reliable and they also provide good advice. Yes, they are a little on the pricey side, but you really do get what you pay for and for the peace of mind of knowing a job has been well done, it is worth it! Pimlico will always guarantee their work so if there ever is a small glitch with anything they've done, they will always come back and sort it out promptly. We had our entire bathroom ripped out and replaced by them and they went above and beyond the required service to make sure it was absolutely spot on! Having so many employees means that there is always someone available and you don't have to wait - invaluable!

Pipe Problem Pipped by Pimlico Plumbers
I've used Pimlico Plumbers twice now. They were great both times. Not the cheapest but they turn up when they say they will. They are clear about costs in advance. And once in action, they just get on and fix the problem. On the first occasion, the chap was helpful above and beyond the call of duty (helping me mop up after a flood) and I offered him a £20 tip. He politely refused saying it wasn't necessary. That's why they got my repeat business a few years later. And I love the fact that they kindly employ (or did) a 100 year old man to clean their vans (according to the papers)! They are professional, proficient and polite in a world of cowboys. A pleasure to deal with.

Brilliant service from enquiry to commissioning
We had planned for years to replace our old combi boiler, servicing it when things got really bad or the threat of another long cold winter. Our search for quotes, models, advice dragged on for too long. There comes a point though when you realise how important the boiler is in your home. efficiency, durability and easy use. Something we all take for granted.
Pimlico Plumbers approached everything in the right manner. No pushy sales, explained everything in simply terms. The removal of our ancent boiler, modifications to pipework and replacement with the highly rated Vaillant Eco24 was quick and without complication.
It obvious now to us why this firm has such a good track record. If this recommendation is anything to go by, then it shouldn't be a surprise to know that, business is built on exceeding client expectations.

IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL TRADESPEOPLE...CALL THESE GUYS!!!
Having spent so many years posting negative reviews and making formal complaints and never hearing back I wanted to finally shed some light to other customers like myself on something positive for a change. I am a landlord and I own many properties in London. Anyone who's a landlord would know the hassle of constant issues arising when letting a property. I have used so many companies in the past where engineers didn't turn up when they promised and did not carry out the work properly or created an even bigger issue then what was there in the first place!!! Maybe they weren't qualified or maybe they thought I was stupid enough to call them back for more work and have more of my money. Pimlico Plumbers are expensive, I agree! But in this world get what you pay for!
So a couple of years ago when I was using a COWBOY company who turned off my gas and claimed there was a gas leak after a gas safety inspection I was really worried when I received the call. The company told me the gas had been shut of and my tenants where in danger and then told me they would send me a quote for the work involved and could not do anything for another 2 days!
Pimlico Plumbers operate 24-7 and have such a quick response time which I could not believe. I called them up and they were so efficient. I was expecting them to say we will get someone out to you tommorow. But no! They told me someone would be there in half an hour! It turned out there was no gas leak. I was so furious at the other company as a paying customer I had hired them to conduct a gas safety check and they simply abused that trust. Pimlico turned the gas back on and I had happy tenants. Oh and I forgot to mention after 2 days I received a phone call quoting me for a new boiler for £3000..I'll leave it your imagination of what I said down the phone!
Since then I have used them for all my properties and them appreciating that I have used them so much I now have a loyalty discount card. Honest, reliable and informative engineers...even when you are not physically there they call you every step of the way they call and inform you.
My advice...leave the cheap shoddy cowboy tradesmen and go with Pimlico Plumbers as I would be surprised if they ever let you down!!

Efficient, Competent, Punctual and Understanding
Pimlico Plumbers have always reacted promptly to my inquiries, and in emergency situations a competent person was dispatched quickly. The works undertaken were clearly identified and estimates were provided accordingly. The engineers are friendly, and clearly explain the work to be carried out. I am happy to use Pimlico Plumbers on a regular basis.

Amazing service and top quality - not the cheapest but I trust them every time.
I've used Pimlico for a number of years.
I started using them when I was away working and we needed somebody we could trust. They did outstanding work on my plumbing.
Since then they've worked on electrics, plumbing, general building, etc. They've done great work each time and I'm convinced whilst more expensive have saved me money in the long run.
They are one of the few companies that I routinely have to contact to commend them on their service. In the world of house maintenance there are so many cowboys - these guys thankfully are proper workman who take pride in their work.

Excellent and timely service
Turn up when they say they will, get the job done with clear communication at every step, and on one occasion when the job was not do-able said so immediately and didn't charge for the callout.
Have used the electrician, plumber, roofer and appliance services... all friendly, professional and courteous.

Overpriced
We paid for Pimlico plummers roofing team to have a look at a sag in our roof. Although a surveyor had recommended reinforcing the roof, Pimlico said they wouldn't do the job without replacing the tiles with slates. Their quote was very expensive.
In the end, we went with a different roofer recommended by a friend. We got great quality service at a fraction of the cost, which leads me to the inevitable conclusion that Pimlico overcharge for their services.

Reliable in a crisis or for planned works
I have used Pimlico Plumbers on several occasions to resolve issues from blocked drains to guttering problems and have found them to be very professional and reliable. They are more expensive than many workmen out there, but you can be confident you will only need to have the job done once, and should anything go wrong, you can rely on their guarantee to resolve any issues.

Pimlico are the only plumbers I deal with.
After a disastrous experience with destructive tenants, I called in Pimlico to deal with a wide variety of issues I had with my flat. They had to rework my heating system, re-attach a high end toilet back to the wall and deal with associated tiling and piping issues, install a new boiler and expand a cabinet to fit it, and repair several smaller problems with leaks and fixtures. They are always extremely professional, on time, and tidy. The problem with the broken boiler, on a freezing winter's day, was handled immediately and they had heat and hot water restored by the following day. I can't recommend Pimlico enough. Unprofessional
Having been instructed to discover the source of a leak in the bathroom of one of my properties and to report back with the solution, the company went ahead and spent over £400 without my authorisation. An unprofessional company with no-one willing to take responsibility for this situation. Doubt I'd use them again.

Pimlico plumbers' performance
I was totally satisfied with our boiler servicing-the plumber turned up on time-was friendly, professional with the job in hand and helpful when I asked him to look at some other plumbing problems in the flat and send me a quote. He sent me the quote very promptly. (It was perhaps a bit on the expensive side.)
The reason why I will not give them 5 stars is because, I asked the plumber to give me a quote about fixing a broken window frame too. He said it was not his department and called the office there and then and made an appointment for a carpenter from Pimlico Plumbers to come and have a look, between 1300 and 1700 on a given day! I waited all afternoon, nobody came, or called. I was not impressed.

A very good service.
Pimlico Plumbers responded quickly to my phone call, sent an engineer that day to assess the problem and a quote to replace my central heating boiler within a couple of hours. They booked the work in immediately. The engineers were on time, completed the job efficiently,, cleaned up thoroughly and were polite. The work was inspected before they left and a follow up call made a few weeks later to check that all was well. They are probably a little more expensive than others, but the service is the best.

Excellent A* service very happy customer
My boiler broke down during the freezing weather when it snowed.. And my local plumber could only give me a next day appointment which obviously was not good enough with two small children. I googled and Pimlico Plumbers popped up I called them ans spoke to a lovely and polite person. They explained everything over the phone and promised me someone within the hour and I am pleased to say they kept to the word. Am very happy with there service and would highly recommend.

disappointing
felt that I was rushed into the purchase of a new boiler without being given an alternative, despite asking for a comparative quote. i had to ask numerous times for the quote in writing which took an age to arrive and when it did i found out that the fantastic warranty deal which the technician kept banging on about was conditional on you guys servicing it every year. the technician had many opportunities to tell me about this condition but had failed to do so. pretty disappointing especially considering the "transparent" claim in your unbelievably annoying jingle we have to endure every time we phone up.
a very poor customer service experience which i am reminded of every day when i cycle past your offices.

The same old trade despite the gloss....
Here's what I wrote (without result) after my last interaction with this company which produced nothing but an unfair bill for about £200 and an outrageous estimate for replacing my boiler:
Dear Sirs,
A few weeks ago I received excellent service from a roofing specialist you sent to my house. I was so impressed with this man that I chose to call your company when my boiler broke down, believing that I had found a company that had created a quality niche in the failed market that is the plumbing trade in the greater London area.
Your estimate for £13,572 for the fitting of two boilers costing about £1000 each is clearly outrageously expensive and the solution proposed seems very poor advice given that the existing installation worked in the past and that I have since been able to have the boiler replaced for about one third of this sum.
As to the first plumber's visit, I object to the charge made. He took the cover off, replaced it and turned off the supply valve. That was the sum total of the work performed, apart from writing an invoice that repeated what I had already told him in the briefing note. He did not open the combustion chamber or the heat exchanger to determine the feasibility or otherwise of fixing the appliance - this was just the sort of approach that I have come to expect from an industry that has seems to be prepared to take on only two categories of work - the quick and easy fix for £200 or so or the overpriced replacement installation.

I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the heating service and estimate provided in 2011.
Each estimate we provide is catered to the size of the property and unique to each customer. The two boilers we proposed were discussed with you on site before we provided the estimation to which you understood and agreed to.
There was extensive work involved and as it was not a straightforward boiler replacement, hence the costs were high. The install required modifications to the existing pipework and having to remove the existing flue and installing two flues to accommodate the new boilers.
Once we had provided the estimate you had queried the cost with our team to which you were give a very detailed and thorough run down of the works proposed and had no further questions.
Our costs are transparent as stated on the website. All materials have a 20% mark up. In addition to this the initial call out was chargeable. Our minimum charge is the first hour which covers fault, diagnosis and repair. However, the estimate we had provided was free.
Our workmanship is of a high standard and all recommendations abide by Gas Safe regulations. We take careful consideration when estimating for our works to ensure all foreseeable problems are avoided. We also provide a guarantee for all our works.

Pimlico Plumber the Best in London
Pimlico Plumbers is certainly not the cheapest service but then you generally get what you pay for. In the case of Pimlico fast, honest, and highly reliable service. We have used Pimlico to install two boilers for us and they did a brilliant job under very difficult circumstances. We not use anyone else.

The service is out of this world.
I had a boiler that was on the blink I have another company out 5 times over 2 weeks to repair it, every time I was told this would fix the problem but it didn't.
I called Pimlico plumbers who and an engineer out to me in 30 minutes! and fixed the problem first time!
I will only use Pimlico from now on.

You get what you pay for
I'd like to let you know that Tony Kilbryde, who came to sort out my problem with taps and drains today, was absolutely great: polite, friendly, extremely helpful, well informed and I particularly appreciated the fact that rather than taking the easy but much more expensive option - which was to drive off and get new taps or new 'insides' - he took the time and trouble to get the existing taps to work.

An excellent 5 star service.
I would just like to say how impressed I was with the engineer that came out to us today- Dave Taylor. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to liase with the architect and plumber from next door where we believe our drain problem lies. Although he wasnt able to solve the problem due to access issues he gave us excellent advice and signposting to other agencies. He was indeed the first person in this nightmare who actually instilled confidence.

professional and reliable service
Pimlico Plumbers carried out work on my bathroom recently and I'd like to say thank you to both the plumber and carpenter for their excellent workmanship. The service I received was so professional and it was great to have such knowledgeable tradesmen to complete the work. I will definitely being using them for any future work.

Efficient, on time and friendly

The service right through from phoning in my problem to having it fixed was the best I have ever experienced. They came when they said they would come, and knew their job!!!!

Efficient and excellent service!
My drains were blocked and causing a bad smell. I called Pimlico, they came out within the hour and the lovely drainage man, Dave, sorted out the blockage quickly and efficiently. A really good job, thanks Dave and thanks Pimlico Plumbers. Will definitely recommend you!
