first the modem arrived with corupt software i called pipex anssent modem back as requested. No replacement came so afer waiting 4 weeksi canceled my account due to services not being provided as stated in contract. They kept talking the monthly fee from my debit card dispite my calling pipex every month to put a stop to it. On top of that they locked my phone line so was unable to use another service provider. All in all the owed me 12 months of montly payments the just kept taling every month ( i rang i wrote and had to gey legal help in the end). I took over 16 months to get my refund back and stop them taking any more paymrnts ( i had to destroy my payment card and get a new one from bank)/ so beware folks you have been ad vised
Whilst their foreign based helpline operators are very polite with great english, they spend more time reading from the polite script than sorting the problem out, and its premium rate.
The UK customer relations department will only accept responsibility and compensate for mistakes and poor service after the ombudsman forces them to.
Expensive in comparison to others who deliver better products and service.
