I bought a camera from these people that was faulty from new and instead of them offering me a refund they told me to sort it out with the manufacture, canon repaired the fault, but kept my camera for 4 months, then 9 months later it went wrong again so I sent it back,Canon then said it was the pixel stores responsibility and the store blamed Canon,so if I want my camera back I have to pay as much as a new camera to get it repaired and the pixel store can't be bothered to speak to canon on my behalf or offer me a refund,so I won't be buying anything again from them.
Ordered a camera on Tuesday evening, arrived early Thursday morning! Product was in good condition, was also sent e-mails showing receipt and dispatch details. Would use again.
I have been after a Sony Digital DSLR for a while as a friend has the Sony Alpha A200K. However the model which my friend had has been discountinued for the newer Sony A230K. I went to a local Dixons store to see it, but thought the A230 was poor in comparsion to the Alpha A200 which my mate had, also the reviews online were more in favour of the Alpha A200.
I went online to find a Alpha A200 from a UK retailer, and only two results came up, one was Google (merchant) at over £ 500.00, and the other was Pixel-Store.co.uk at £ 299.99.
I never heard of them, and was at first hesitant to place an order, but I thought I would phone up and see what they were like. They were very helpful, and informative, and no sale-tatics were forced. After an morning of thinking, I decided to purchase it at lunchtime, along with a case and memory card, and was told it will be despatched the same day for next day delivery. Sure enough, by 10am the next day, it all arrived safe and sound, all sealed, with a Sony UK warranty (which I have registered online).
Im very happy and would recommend both camera and company.
