I placed orders over 2 days Sunday 22nd and Monday 23th January.
The first order was received on the 24th January and the second on the 25th January. Both monitored and tracked right to my door. This is what I call good service! Why the bad publicity I do not know...I rate these people and their delivery team Yodel highly..Well done Pixmania!
I bought some 3D glasses on their website for ~80€ and receive it broken... ok no problem I'll just use their customer service but the problem is that it is inexistant. After 1 month of discussion I couldn't have any refund or exchange.
The conclusion, never use this website they'll just steal your money!
sold me an item from company that didnt stock it anymore, then even though order was never confirmed or validated, they took money. In the process of going through endless calls back and worth (0844's) to get them to refund the money, they took money a second time from my account!!!!. two lots of £550 taken and still waiting to get money back. Non English call centre so sorting it all is a joke! Very unhappy!!!
Got to admit, after ordering £300 worth of hard drives first and reading the reviews on this site second, I was a bit unsettled to say the least. Although it seems people are a lot more likely to review this company on bad experience rather than good. I'm glad to say I've had a very positive experience. Saved myself over £70 shopping with Pixmania, and they even included the E.U to U.K socket adapters, which I wasn't even expecting. Bonus!
I ordered a Lego advent calendar at the beginning of November. The item arrived but was faulty the cardboard surround with the doors on was missing. It took two emails before I received any assistance and then this involved sending the item back to France! They refused to send a replacement until the had received the faulty item back, but explained shipping could take up to 10 days each way - up to 10 December!!. An advent calendar is not much use unless you have this on 1 December.
My advice never use PIXMANIA - reading the reviews here and elsewhere on the internet I'm surprised anyone does
Bought a graphics card from pixmania on 8th november which was delivered after afew days on opening the box the box inside containing the graphics card was opened with the security seal ripped off and also the antistatic bag
containing the card was open .so i contacted customer support and after six days and another.email i have. Still. Had. No response
LED tv under 2 years old faulty, no picture showing, contacted them to sort out. They tried to tell me I had to go to manufacturer to sort it out. Quoted sales of good act and that they had to sort it out. They then came back stating I had to get an engineers reports report to prove it. Talk about poor customer service.
Have had faulty items from suppliers for PC's etc. and they picked it up and sorted it out without issue. Pixmania is extremely poor avoid them.
Greg at pixmania is the person that responded.
After seeing a great deal on the new iPad for cheap I raised an order only to be emailed and told I needed to call customer services in order to confirm the order is real. After several calls and a total of over 90 minutes waiting on hold at 5p per minute (0844 number so Pixmania made a lot of money out of making people do this) I still haven't managed to speak to anyone. In their email they said that if I don't confirm they will cancel the order. There is no email address available and when you try and send an email through their website it conveniently fails to send. Sound like a scam? Does to me
at the end of April I purchased a recon Toshiba laptop .. I had endless problems I took it to a PC repair place and they said all the drivers had not been loaded , this was done for me but for a cost. another problem was that some passwords where still on the laptop so I couldn't download the recovery ..I was so fed up with this constantly playing up I sent it back .. they where very good saying send it back it will be fine ..I sent this back and heard nothing so after ringing them they said they had recived it a few days ago .. I then waited for the refund ..nothing .. ringing them again I was told they needed a iban and swift ... this I got from my bank and emailed them ..12 days later nothing ... another phone call and I was told that the iban was wrong .. ok the bank gave me the wrong iban .. but surely pixmaina should of told me .. what a really poor service
We ordered a new microwave on Monday and had conformation within minutes informing us that delivery would be Thursday, we then went on the review sites and started to worry,
Thursday which is today the microwave arrived, no problems, we are very pleased with it. and the service from pixmania and saved £'s at the same time
I bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ-72 from Pixmania 3 weeks ago. Delivery was not the quickest, but I expected this as I knew it was coming from France. When it arrived, the camera was set up in French and the only printed manual was in French - not useful if you don't speak French, and also not expected as Pixmania's own t's and c's state that an item description will say if the manual is not in English - it didn't.
When I rang the company to complain they said they would send me an English version of the Quick Start manual so I could work out how to use the camera. 2 weeks on I had received nothing, so bought a full printed manual from another website, which arrived the next day. Today, after 2 weeks, I have received the manual from Pixmania - another 200+ page full printed manual. So I now have 2 of these, one of which I paid extra for, and still no Quick guide to take with me on holiday.
Pixmania still haven't changed the product listing to conform to their own t's and c's by stating that it does not come with an English manual, and when I spoke to them today they seem to have no interest in correcting this, or in reimbursing me for the extra manual I had to buy, or for my phone calls - the over-riding impression I got was that now they had my money, they really couldn't care less.
This is not the first time I have had trouble with Pixmania, I experienced similiarly poor service a few years ago when I used them for the first time, but I thought I would give them another chance to see if things had improved. Sadly, they have not, and I will never deal with them again - I strongly advise you to think very carefully before you do.

Having been dissapointed by a bogus online retailer called EXTAC, I tried PIXMANIA having recieved promotional emails on a regular basis for about a year & having read some favourable reviews.
In short... Ordered thursday evening 24/10/13 46" samsung smart TV at the bargain price of £685 recieved a call from PIXMANIA the next morning to varify the order at approximately 08:30. The order was pocessed & scanned for delivery by 08:40 (10 mins later) recieved an email from PIXMANIA with the UPS tracking reference which showed this information & the proceeding movement up to delivery at 11:40 this morning.
The box had taken some minor damage which one might expect with it being shipped from France to the UK, the product is in perfect condition the service recieved from PIXMANIA was second to none 5 stars is not enough!
I really can't recomend these enough WELL DONE & THANK YOU PIXMANIA!!!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I WILL BUY FROM THESE AGAIN WITHOUT HESITATION, EVEN IF THE PRICE IS A LITTLE HIGHER - PEACE OF MIND... BELIEVE!
I ordered a Philips tv on Saturday afternoon. I didn't notice that was without dvbt-2 receiver so i cancelled it on Sunday morning and i send them an email about the cancellation. I have used paypal to pay so i informed also paypal about this. You have the right to cancel an order even when your order is sent to your home. That is because you shop without seeing the product. The order wasn't active by the time i canceled it.
On Monday they sent an email saying that the tv was sent and i had to refuse it and send it back. I checked it online and they had only print the sticker for the delivery. I asked them to cancel it as it was an option within the UPS. They didn't and the tv traveled from France to UK and back. On Friday the tv was at their warehouse. Today is Monday evening and still no refund. I do not know what would have happened if i hadn't pay with paypal. I am waiting for my money in order to buy another tv. I was going to buy from pixmania if they had refund my money fast but now i won't and never again. I do not have a tv and my children were waiting for it.

Emma you are a star !!!!
I regret that i had to write here and send several email to take my money back but i have to say that Emma solved this matter asap. Thank you Emma.
I ordered some items from this company in May 2013. Guess what...... they never arrived...... had a few e-mail exchanges with the company........ 6 failed delivery attempts later by 2 different companies and no joy! But I hold no malice to Pixmania for the failures of their delivery contractors... I calmly walked outside checked that nobody had stolen the numbers off my front door and went back inside to cancel the order and get a refund.
By the way in case your wondering plenty of other companies have managed to deliver to my house, I have a postcode and everything - but I do wonder because on the tracking system of one of the delivery companies my parcel is shown leaving the sorting room to be delivered then returned 27 seconds later as undeliverable - counting the time it takes the guy to get in and out of his van I make that about a 10 second working day. But I digress.... back to the point.
On the 11 September I settle myself down at my computer in order to request a refund................The reply from Jan at Pixmania arrives the following day - Oh wonderful news, Jan tells me my refund has already been issued and it should appear in my account in a few days, I am more than happy with this prompt service, and I start to search for somewhere I can go and buy my items and collect them myself (such as a shop, by this time I have lost a little bit of faith in delivery drivers ability to read a map or operate a satnav) knowing the money will be available shortly.
Oh how wrong I was! A couple of weeks go by and no money appears in my account.
I check that I am looking in the right account.........yes I am.
I check that my bank has not gone bankrupt without me noticing and slidden into obscurity in these harsh economic times.......no it hasn't.
I check that a meteorite has not struck my local branch exploding my refund with it.........nope.
So I sit down in front of my computer again (by the way don't bother phoning this company you will spend 2 hours on the phone listening to elevator music then be unceremoniously cut off - maybe my refund has been spent on anti-depressants for the poor soul who mans this phone line) this time I tell them that my money has not appeared in my account, as promised by Jan.
I get a reply from Martha, who says she cannot understand why my refund has not appeared in my account and is going to refer my case to the accounts dept for investigation.
Martha, allow me to enlighten you, the money has not appeared in my account because the refund has not been sent, it is pretty simple.
I now get an e-mail from person or persons unnamed from the accounts department telling me my request is being processed - by this I assume they have printed out my e-mails and are putting them in a food processor, with a middle digit extended in my general direction, since no money has been forthcoming.
The accounts department is probably staffed by the same poor sod they have manning the phone line!
The date now is the 19 Oct, almost 5 months since I placed my order, I have no goods and no money back - The next stop for me will be the small claims court - and the moral of the story, don't order from Pixmania
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, BUY FROM CURRY'S, ARGOS, AMAZON ANYWHERE BUT THIS COMPANY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. THEY WILL SELL UK CUSTOMER'S TV'S MEANT FOR OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRY'S WITH EUROPEAN ROUND PIN PLUGS. LG UK SUPPORT TOLD ME THAT FOR ANY WARRANTY QUERIES OR ISSUES IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE UK WARRANTY AND THE SMART TV'S WILL NOT HAVE THE SMART APP'S AS UK TV'S HAVE, BBC IPLAYER FOR EXAMPLE. SPEND MORE MONEY AND BUY ELSEWHERE!!!!! PEOPLE HAVE BEEN LEAVING BAD REVIEWS DATING FROM OVER A YEAR AGO, WHY DO THEY EMPLOY STAFF TITLED MEDIATORS TO REPLY AND ASK PEOPLE TO GET IN CONTACT WITH THEM. CAN'T THEY JUST SORT THE ISSUE'S OUT WITHIN THE COMPANY WHICH PEOPLE ARE ALL COMPLAINING ABOUT WHICH THEN HOPEFULLY WILL RESULT IN HAPPY CUSTOMERS AND GOOD REVIEWS!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!! BY THE WAY THEY ARE NOT IN THE UK, THEY ARE IN FRANCE AND CZECH REPUBLIC!!
AFTER READING THE DISGRACEFUL WAY YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS I WILL NEVER EVEN DREAM OF BUYING FROM YOU NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY.
YOU GUYS ARE A DISASTER AND I REALLY HOPE PEOPLE READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING A PRODUCT AND NOT RECEIVING IT OR SOLD A FAULTY ITEM OR WORSE.
WHERE DO YOU PEOPLE GET OFF RIPPING OFF PEOPLE LIKE THIS
My initial experience was very frustrating. I needed to purchase a JVC upper price end camcorder to replaced a failed 5yr one. I needed it in time for a 3 week trip to Thailand in a few days so needed to ensure I could get it in time. They have a good price on their web site but wanted to check (in light of other reviewers experiences) that it was actually in stock..
I tried customer services number fortunately not the expensive one but a number shown on saynopto0870. Waited 50 minutes but no reply so gave up. I e-mailed them but had to set up user account first. No response to this either. Very poor start and very frustrating. They didn't really seem to make much effort to attract new customers! After my post here I did get a prompt response from Emma (see below) From then on things started looking up.
She was very helpful indeed. Time was ticking by to order before their noon deadline so I did phone customer services once more and to my surprise got through quickly and to a helpful chap who checked on stocks and found that indeed they had one.
Got to order it just before deadline BUT due to credit card security checks payment was refused. Eventually sorted out but by then was well past cut off date. e-mailed Emma and she checked and got things going in warehouse I paid extra for 24-48 hr shipping.
Well the happy ending is that Emma and their shipping depart obviously pulled all the stops out. I got an e-mail this morning to say it was on its way and UPS delivered it by 11:00am . So a big thank you to everyone who sorted out the problem so quickly. Just a shame that the initial experience was so frustrating trying to get hold of someone. An on-line chat system would have been a big help.
At least a happy ending. Thank you again Emma for being such a BIG help to sort out the situation. Would have bumped up from 1 star to 5 but the initial experience means 4 stars. Lets hope they get the up front customer query service sorted so I can bump it up to the full 5 stars
I bought a blackberry play book 64gb to use on holiday the item has been used about four times I have been trying to return it for a few months as it is faulty and no longer charging. Up until now I have phoned been cut off continually sent countless emails without reply and when I try returning it through my account online no item appears for a return. I am a retail store manager and would advise no one to purchase goods from such a untrustworthy and unprofessional outfit. Ps still trying with emails nothing as yet
I wrote this email last night but have decided to just post it now as I'm ABSOLUTELY LIVID!!!!!!
DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE COWBOYS!!!! And it will be impossible to get a refund as you can't get through on the phone unless you ring at 9am and none of the email you are provided with exist.
Purchased a tv end of September that was 'in stock' and would take 2-4 days to arrive. After almost a week, I had no information on the whereabouts of my tv.
After a phone call, I was informed there had been some kind of problem 'at the other end'. On the same night, I checked my pixmania account to find that the tv had been dispatched. How very strange considering there had been a problem.
Two or three days later a tv arrived. The box.............well I've seen anything like it. It had been opened, it was dented and scratched and every edge of the box was scuffed. To me it said this tv has been hanging around somewhere for a very long time and something was telling me it wasn't new.
I called pixmania the very next day, and they assured me the tv was brand new but to check to make sure the screen wasn't cracked etc.
We'll........it was like they knew what was inside the box. Sure enough I took the tv out of a very poorly packaged box to find a completely shattered screen!!!
Emailed company followed by a telephone call. They were very sory it had happened etc etc etc.
As I couldn't have a replacement shipped out until the company got this one back in France and checked it etc I had to fork out for another tv. I insisted that the one they sent was to be brand new. After all, it was showing over 200 of these TVs in stock.
Delivery was very quick this time I must admit. Thumbs up there. Room one look at the box and my jaw hit the floor. The delivery driver said that he had actually taped up the box as it was open. There was a huge gaping hole also in the side of the box, again every edge of the box was scraped and scuffed and pretty tatty looking.
I put my hand in the side of the box and I felt something sharp along the side of the tv. I knew again it was damaged.
I decided to take the tv out of the box to inspect the extent of the damage. I was surprised to find that the only protection inside the box was TWO polystyrene blocks at either side of the box on top of the screen. The stand, remote etc were just laid behind the tv. I removed the tv from the box and found some broken pieces of polystyrene which suggests to me that this tv has previously been removed from the box and not packaged properly. I was surprised to find that the crack on the frame of the tv was the only damage.
I don't know what kind of company this is but one thing I know for certain, I will never, ever, ever again shop with this company. This was the first and will definitely be the last. Not sure if they're trying to pull some kind of insurance scam. Maybe they have a warehouse full of damaged items they are shipping to customers so they can claim against the carriers.
One thing is for certain, this tv was not new when it was shipped out to me.
So far today I have been sat on the phone for over an hour on hold. This has been over 5 telephone calls as the phone goes dead after a while. I was asked to send photos of the damage to email@example.com - bounces back. Emailed firstname.lastname@example.org - guess what, email bounces back.
I ordered a router from these guys three weeks ago which was "In Stock", still not dispatched. I understand that glitches happen from time to time but what has happened in the meantime is almost beyond belief in terms of their behaviour.
I send a couple of "chaser" messages to them via their website asking what was happening, absolutely no response.
I send a couple of "cancel order" messages to them to cancel this order. Again no response at all and order still live.
The icing on the cake though has to be when I've tried to call them. At least 10 times I've been put in a queue (no surprise there to be fair) when you get to the front of the queue though the calls get disconnected. So basically you sit on hold on a premium rate number to have your call disconnected - absolutely disgraceful.
I will never again even think about ordering from these cowboys and urge anyone reading this to do the same, they are hopeless.
I ordered a graphics card from Pixmania only to see it has developed problems a few weeks after use. I then contacted Pixmania and they said they will send it off to a manufacturer for technical testing, and I should have it back by 21 days.
Over 2 months later and I still haven't heard anything. I have contacted customer support numerous times only to hear nothing back. This graphics card was £240 when I purchased it from them, it now has a market value of £170.
Absolutely terrible Pixmania.
I ordered a New Asus sabertooth motherboard and some upgrade parts for a client
i get the board and it installs fine but then the sound does not detect audio jacks, the raid randomly fails, windows randomly deactivated, and running slow in general. i have another identical build and its perfect.
I contact asus and they say rma it to be repaired.
I send the board back telling them that i want a replacement that it has to be sent to asus and replaced and a copy of the asus support , all this inside 2 weeks.
5 WEEKS LATER i get the same board back from pixmania with a letter from e-merchants with the board problem listed as "keeps freezing and turning off"
nothing is fixed or replaced.
i call and they say they can try again but e-merchants will have to decide if it is faulty.
Its now almost 7 weeks with no working motherboard and about to be 86 euro down from sending this broken board around.
and i cannot send it back to asus because the french warranty does not cover UK and Ireland. and asus said i should not have been sold this board because of no warranty support
This is just a complete fail on Pixmanias side
I ordered a new 46in tv and soundbar from Pixmania.co.uk
I specifically went with them for the 24-48hr delivery. It is now the 6th working day since we ordered.
I have emailed them 3 times to no reply whatsoever.
I have called 7 times chasing it up, to again sit listening to be told "an operator will be with you in 3mins 43secs to then be cut off 4 times.
Eventually i got through and spoke to a young lady who told me that the item was not dispatched due to a problem with the payment? not all the money was received.
I called my credit card company who stated the payment went through in full on the day ordered.
I called back to pixmania (a man this time) who told me that he couldnt understand why i was told that, and that full payment was received and that he said that there is a delay of SOMEKIND? in their warehouse? Well if you dont know, who does?
I just want my tv, my wife is 9 months pregnant and we are decorating the main room and all the items i ordered from elsewhere has all been delivered.
This is the worst customer service i have dealt with. I dont know when i or if i will get my new tv and whats worse is that nor does pixmania by the sound of it.
How can the company you buy from not know when or even where your items are?
V unhappy customer
USELESS - THEY DONT READ E-MAILS OR COMMUNICATE
I bought before and added my parents address for that delivery. My mistake when buying for me as it defaulted to this address. I emailed them within one minute of placing the order to amend delivery address but they said nothing and did not respond. So I called them (and paid to listen to their expensive padded out musical menus) and the chap said he'd try to sort. He didn't and so now my parents have my hard drives 180 miles away.
Dont have a web form if you aren't going to read what we send.

I recently bought a product from Pixmania which was sent out with a EU power adaptor instead of a UK one. They did throw a UK adaptor in the box but it required the cable to be stripped which I'm a little unwilling to do on something that has just cost me over £400. Their phoneline is a premium number so I emailed but still waiting on a response.
I bought a mobile dvd player and it looked fantastic. It seemed to have everything I required-however it was all French! The booklet was in French and no English translation. Also the dvd player on set-up was in french and when I tried to use the button to change to english settings it did not work. Therefore I had to send it back which was an irritation and disappointment. However customer services were great and I returned the product with no hassle. They refunded me partly- and I did have to phone and ask for the refund of postage as the item was faulty, and I received this immediately as they said it was an oversight by the warehouse staff. So all in all was positive and would not be afraid to buy from them again. In fact I have purchased from them before and had no problems with the item that time.
I bought a dual SIM Wiko phone and it is locked. Now I am stuck abroad without being able to use the phone for what I bought it for: having a UK number and a foreign number on the same phone...
In addition, I've just had a terribly frustrating experience with the customer care lady from Pixmania: was not helpful, not trying to find a solution for me, not communicative, not alert / proactive, not empathic or concerned really - all the things you expect from good customer service.
She mentioned to send back the phone to the factory (great), the said that I could send it back to them and get refund (wow), and finally suggested after a while that if I was using the phone abroad it's normal that it wasn't working... how clueless (ignorant) is that?? Isn't it the whole point of having a dual sim unlocked phone - that fact it works with any SIM card??
This is the most frustrating consumer experience in years. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend....
I do appreciate the fact that my 50 inch tv was delivered over a good of 4 working days. Tv came sealed with all components intact. I only felt that if i was at work where phones aren't allowed then my purchase may have been declined as the item was going to be shipped in from France. Although phone call was received just at a close shave to confirm purchase, item was delivered intime with no issues to the Samsung 50 inch tv which made me very happy.
For this, i am happy with the service, but please kindly notify if phone call would be placed to buyer before confirming payment so as to prevent delays or purchase declines. Many thanks
I am overall happy with my recent purchase from Pixmania, Galaxy Note 8. But it came from France which I did not know of.
Not a major major issue as they provided me with power adaptor but it was not clear when I placed the order
Firstly pricing is very competitive and website very functional (except on IE8 Browser where site just doesn’t work at all). Fulfilment is the issue here…
I'll tried to purchase twice from Pixmania, both orders were processed as "In stock", only to find out 3 weeks later (by me having to contact customer services) they still have no stock.
First occasion had to cancel the order for an Ipad, second order for a Vacuum cleaner still waiting after 3 weeks
Shame, Great prices, great site, good customer communication, poor fulfilment, I’ve personally lost confidence to order further from Pixmania.

I ordered a small fridge and freezer from Pixmania as they were the chepest company to stock this item, even beating Currys on price for the same item, even with their (rather expensive) delivery of £30 per item. However the items were delivered promptly two days later to my surprise, as they stated a 4-6 day lead time. I was given a delivery slot, although I wasn't called 30 mins before as advertised on the knowhow website. Luckily I could coordinate our shifts so that one of us would be in otherwise I may have missed it, as there was no option to choose your slot (which would help!) The delivery drivers were polite and helpful, and the products themselves fit perfectly into a tight space in my new kitchen finishing it off nicely. They offer great space inside for a small fridge and freezer and are A+ rated too so excellent all round!
My elderly mother bought an Essentials gas cooker from this company in November 2012, it has caused her so much stress over the past few months and nobody from Pixmania has been any help at all. She has had it repaired three times now by the Knowhow repair people, who say they are going to put a report in about the cooker, but still nothing has changed. I have sent several e-mails asking for a refund as the cooker is not fit for purpose. When telephoning their customer service department they just keep talking about another repair and telling me to phone Knowhow. I think they must be waiting for the guarantee to run out, then it will not be their problem!
I find it appalling that my mother has been without a cooker for several weeks now, she is not in good health and really does not need this stress. I am at the end of my tether with Pixmania and intend to report them to trading standards and also to send all the details to Watchdog!
I have used Pixmania many times over the years but never usually my first choice as. I needed certain information about the product I was buying and Pixmania had it. There is a lot of competition on the market these days and I am always looking to be my products as cheap as possible but only from reputable companies, Pixmania prove to be invaluable to me this time as I got the 3 things I was looking for :-
Product information for comparing similar items.
And last but not least The Cost - Pixmania was the cheapest from all the online and high street sellers.
Pixmania - I ask you to please keep your prices much lower than your competitors, in doing so I will be returning to purchase from you again.
After ordering a pair of expensive headphone from them, less than 10 minutes later I realised they were the wrong ones, despite the description saying differently. Because of this I requested a cancellation which could not be processed 10 MINUTES AFTER I ORDERED. Due to this I had to wait for the product to arrive from France, only to refuse it and send it back - a waste of everyones time. In the middle of all this, I was trying to tell them that this product wasn't described properly and that they should change it. Each reply was a half-assed attempt and each time they told me I was wrong and that it was correctly listed. After 6 or 7 e-mails they eventually accepted that the description was wrong and gave me a poor excuse for an apology. To this day, the headphone are still listed incorrectly.
DO NOT BUY FROM PIXMANIA. EVER>
Having had a bad experience with Pixmania in the past, I was a little uncertain about using them again.
But they had the product I was looking for, so decided to go for it.
Placed order, and was informed that an email would be sent when item was despatched.
Three days later no email received, so I was beginning to kick myself.
Suddenly item arrived (without any notification), so no long protracted phone calls (on premium rate number) necessary.
Would I use them again? Maybe. But I'd be holding my breath until the item arrived!
The TV was delivered from abroad but in just a few days. Came with my favourite courier being UPS and on top of all of that, the price was exceptional. Would definitely recommend. Arrived in excellent condition.
