Could have no complaints with this company have used them numerous times.Delivery is very fast and it is nice that they give an estimated date of arrival.You know where the product is coming from so no customs charges snuck in like with some ebay sellers.Prices are competitive even with P&P added on.Some people are swayed when they see the site advertised at the side of some websites i can assure this is nothing to worry about they are a professional and easy to use company.
Got a new Canon EFS II 55-250mm Lens from Pixmania.com. Was by far the cheapest at Pixmania. Some of these types of lenses were more expensive used on some sites. You have the option of standard or express delivery. Express you pay extra which is fair enough. I did so as I needed the lens in a hurry and got it in two working days to Ireland from France. I'm happy with the lens ( I used it with great results at a recent F1 Grand Prix) and Pixmania.com. I will return to shop there.

Just one - the instruction booklet for my Samsung sound-bar only had instructions in French, Italian, Spanish & Portuguese and an e-mail to Pixmania Customer Service requesting one in English remains unanswered and unfulfilled. Hence the 4**** review - otherwise it would have been a 5***** Result.
I would deal with Pixmania again, found it a great site. However a few little details left me giving it 3 stars. Firstly I was trying to see what details were required for my credit card and the numerous options present on the page was somewhat confusing and when I thought I was just checking the validity of my credit card, it went through as a payment. I think it was not easily possible to cancel without contacting the sales team which I thought was too much hassle. Since I was there to buy I didn't think much of it. But still I would much rather prefer a details page of what I'm buying, charges and a final button asking my confirmation of purchase instead of jumping straight away. Another thing, I thought pixmania.ie was an Irish company, when I got my product it was french...the box and product labels. In most cases I wouldn't mind but I have no idea with the label on the back of my product means, take it off before use or what?
Another issue, i assume has nothing to do with pixmania is the courier service. UPS. They managed to miss my package at the depot on the day of delivery around 5 pm, then they reattempted to deliver at 6pm and that wasn't successful? I didn't realise they sent deliveries that late. If I had I would've used my home address. I put my work address since I assumed morning delivery and I might miss it while at work.
Then it was finally delievered the next day and the only way I knew it was received was because I signed up for sms alerts on the UPS site. The box was just left in a store room by a staff member. All it had was the store's name and address on it. My name was nowhere to be found. This is delicate electronic equipment. I read on pixmania delivery info that the package should be opened and checked on delivery to see if it was damaged or defective, since accepting it or signing it without doing that would deem it was delievered in working condition and I wouldn't have much ground to return it or get a refund. Now how can I do that when they don't come on time, don't deliver it to the right person or even have my name on it? Ridiculous. I went through all that hassle just so I can receive it in my hands and not wait extra days or have to travel to pick it up somewhere.
Iv been a customer of pixmania for years. I'm the type of person who prefers to walk into a business to make a purchase. i just prefer that personal touch and the notion that if there is a problem I have a place to return to. So based on that I tend to avoid online shopping. But thankfully pixmania has it all; great prices, excellent product selection, brilliant search and refine search options. The site is very well laid out for ease of search.
Iv had a problem with one or two products over the years that werent pixmania's fault but they acted immediately to correct the problem. Their customer service is where they excel. Always efficient and accurate. Id have full confidence in the future shopping with them.
Impressively quick delivery for a very large box - sent from Pixmania's French offices. Not especially bothered that product was a French item, as it meant that the price I paid was significantly less than from any other online retailer. I've purchased hardware from Pixmania before, so already knew they were trustworthy.
Pixmania has a great selection of products and far better prices than commonly available in store - I bought a tv and leads, and was very happy with my product.
It was delivered on the stated day, in full working order.
It can be difficult to envisage what a product might look like if just viewing online images, but I suggest checking out a product in store and then buying it on Pixmania if you're worried.
having low prices or big variety of products is a one thing, but dealing with warranty queries it is a totally different story.
One of the things I bought was a graphics card with failed after several hours (can happen to anyone with any product)
I was afraid how they will treat me, but they collected it with no extra charges for me (they paid for return shipping) I had to wait for faulty gpu to be checked and within few days I was given an option for refund or straight replacement without any problem.
Considering volumes of stuff they are selling and amount on enquiries they have to deal with, I think my claim was sorted out pretty fast.

The above message was in red and bold. But when I received the parcel the delivery guy didn't allow me to open it (obviously) and said that I need to sign first as this is part of UPS policy. And to be honest, I think he is right...how would you "open/alter" the package BEFORE signing...you know, before signing it is still HIS responsibility and not yours!
Be more clear next time. Other than that, great price and product condition..so far at least.
Very happy with the service and product selection. We were ordering a number of hard disks (20+); I found these to be the best price and selection around, the website was easy and quick to use and delivery took only 2 days. Really impressed and would use again for business or personal shopping.
Ordered an electrical item on the site, order went through fine, but then I received an email claiming I had to phone up and answer some security questions because I was paying by credit card.
I did so, answered what was asked, was then told that my order would be canceled and I would have to order again and pay by bank transfer because of a "Security Issue". When I asked what the issue was exactly I was transfered to another operator and when I explained things to him he answered with "No, the order has gone through now, it's being processed and will be shipped out today",
Either end of the transaction was fine, but the security faff in the middle was entirely unnecessary and felt very amateur.

I had never heard of Pixmania before and was worried that it wasn't a legit place to buy a TV, but because Amazon wouldn't ship the TV I wanted to buy to Ireland, I decided to give Pixmania a try.
I'm very pleased with my purchase. The TV arrived within the estimated delivery time and was in perfect condition. I was able to use a discount code during the online payment process, so I ended up paying less for the TV than I would have at most other places.

I ordered a set of speakers and they didn't arrive. These things happen with postal services and I don't blame Pixamania for this. What I did find, however was a poor uncaring customer service department. I've asked for a refund, but really, based on the experiences I've had thus far, I'm not holding out much hope.
Hi bought a Blaupunkt TV from pixmania site,,delivered on time ,well packed,,Adopter wasn't supplied as stated with purchase but when I e-mailed customer services it was delivered few days later sent 2 for inconvenience,,all in all very happy with TV and with service,,will use them again ,,I had read some bad reviews about them ,,but in my experience I have trust in their site and their service,,keep up great products and price,,Thanks Jim
The website is designed in a very user-friendly way. You can easily find a product you are looking for & place the order. The discribtions are very helpful to decide on the purchase. One issue is the contact with customer service.I qeried about the item I have bought which has not been delivered yet and received no response till today. the major issue, however, is the fact that my itme has not been delivered yet ... All in all, I'm not happy about the service I have received.
First time I ordered I was very pleased, as the item was delivered on time and I had no complaints whatsoever, but on my current order I'm still waiting for my order, and the customer service tells me they opened an investigation...why is there no way of contacting the carrier on a faster notice and find out the issue in a matter of hours rather than weeks?
I can't really give a review of the product in itself as I still haven't received it. I know it's not pixmania's fault but seriously think about changing carrier. some unknown number tried and call me on Tuesday at 11am so of course I was at work and couldn't answer and I guess it was them but as they didn't leave a message or sent me any text I'm not too sure. my biggest regret is the total lack of communication, you cannot even contact the carrier straight away u need to call pixmania's customer service which is not even open on the weekend... not the best first experience!
The item I ordered arrived as promised in even less time than stipulated on the website which was a major plus point. However, I was very disappointed that no plug adapter was included with the purchase. It arrived with a 2 prong plug which doesn't work in Irish or British sockets.
Its a small gripe, but still matters.
I ordered an external hard drive for storing files at home, as well as some flash drives for college. They're from a good brand and Pixmania's price was about a third of what I could find in major chains. It arrived quickly without any difficulty and I would definitely recommend Pixmania.
I regularly order through pixmania, they are quite often the cheapest and still their service has been almost spotless even calling me proactively the time a command got validated twice due to a too fast double clic...
