I ordered a pre-release mug in time for Christmas. A fortnight before Christmas it was delayed until after New Year. Then it was canned altogether. Pathetic! I also ordered a boxed game for my nephew as it was the cheapest available at Play. When it arrived, it was all bashed and not in a fit state to give as a present. The company gave me a refund minus postage. I emailed the company and apart from an auto reply (that I should receive a response within 72 hours), never heard from them. When I rang up to complain that I'd wanted a replacement, they said I could order it from their web site, but the price had tripled, so it was no longer competitive. After a bit of discussion they agreed to refund my postage. However, I ended up buying the product elsewhere. As a result of these experiences, I will not do business with play.com again.
