Great choice,price and simple to use website.

Website is clear and easy to use. I found everthing that I wanted at great prices. Was delivered in less than a week with no damage and complete. Everything was as described and looks really good quality. My plumber said if he needed a new bath he would get the same one. The only drawback was the hose on the taps/shower mixer was a little short. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the bathroom I ordered. Thanks

Excellence and efficiency!

I purchased a Mira Elite gravity fed electric shower from Plumbword because my water pressure is too low for a normal shower. I am not a plumber, but their website provided extensive information on the product and the requirements for installation so I could ensure that I was purchasing the correct product for my needs.
In addition to this, I managed to arrange a plumber to install the product on Tuesday after ordering it on Sunday night. I contacted Plumbworld and asked them to expedite the delivery. They were very helpful and it arrived by lunchtime on Tuesday.
I even got a free set of shelves cum shower head holder with the shower, so no boring shower pole. It looks fantastic and works like a dream.

I bought a toilet from this company. The price was good and the quality of product was excellant.

Delivery was a little longer than I hoped, I ordered on Wednesday and received the goods on Monday. They are quite local so shipment from the warehouse took the time. But they were very helpful with tracking the order and giving me correct contact details for the courier.

Would definately use again.

Brilliant prices but poor after sales service

I selected a special sink unit to fit in my downstairs WC and was really pleased with the price, with a toilet as well it came to less than I was finding the very small sinks for on other sites on their own. So I orderd them and they arrived promptly.

Going through the installation instructions for the toilet cistern fill I noticed the part I had didn't match the instructions, there was a piece missing. I emailed the customer service team and they have not responded to me yet. This was 3 weeks ago. Fortunately I worked out it didn't need the extra part but not with the help of the supplier. It is all fitted and looking superb.

That was a shame because the selection, price and overall customer experience up to the point of needing to check that one thing out was excellent. Get the customer service sorted and it's unbeatable.

VERY POOR SERVICE AND BAD QUALITY PRODUCT

i would never buy from these people again.firstly my items were supposed to be in stock but then i received emails advising of delays i had to reschedule my plumber.then if you have a problem they wont talk to you on the phone you have to correspond by email which is no good when you are paying a plumber by the hour to do a job.subsequently my item was delivered when i was on holiday so left unopened for several weeks, once i returned my plumber came to fit the item bearing in mind he also had to reschedule fitting the items(cloakroom toilet and vanity sink unit) finally - he opened it, i witnessed the plumber open the parcel very carefully and the sink was chipped, there was no damage to the box it was delivered in, and the ceramic chip which was rather large was not in the box so i guess it was packed and despatched damaged. this company are not prepared to exchange it as i did not report it within 7 days (i was on holiday, the item was not delivered before i went because they delayed the delivery and because of this my plumber had to reschedule coming to fit the items - which is why the items were not opened for so long).they could not even offer me any discount on a new item, they just want to profiteer from me, i do not believe i should have to buy a new item, they should be exchanging it and appologising to me, had they delivered on time i would have been here in the uk and my plumber would have come immediatly to fit it and we would have reported it within 7 days so they would have had to replace it so i dont see what the difference is??. they would not even supply me a basin only and tried to sell me the full unit again (cheek!!) my advise is go to boundarybathrooms.co.uk they are very helpful (and sold me just the sink without the vanity) or go to bathshop321.com who are both real people on a telephone line who are prepared to give a good service and good price!

Poor quality, delivery problems, poor customer service

I recently refitted both my bathrooms and ordered lots of bathroom wares from Plumbworld, Victoria Plumb and Bella Bathrooms.
Unfortunately Plumbworld was the worst. There were problems with delayed delivery, damaged goods which they refused to replace and poor customer service.
Firstly the delivery did not arrive when promised. This meant I waited for the whole day in vain.When I contacted their courier they advised me to contact the sales team instead as 'they cannot contact each customer as they are very busy'. Unfortunately plumbworld has no customer service number and the only way to contact is via email. After 3 days of emails and begging to be prompt, the delivery arrived.
Their was a hairline crack in the toilet at the rear, which was not noticeable. Unfortunately when installed it started leaking. Contacted plumbworld within 7 days (as per their Terms). Once again desperate emails as no one bothered to contact on phone. After 32 email exchange including sending photographs, over 5 days they confirmed that since the suppliers have refused to own the problem up they cannot replace the product. I had to pay for the replacement, delay for the bathroom fitter and the time lost in chasing it every day. Similar problem happened with Victoria Plumb who replaced the bathroom furniture immediately and sent it the very next day without any questions or queries.
In summary: be very cautious when accepting delivery from Plumbworld, check each and every product minutely. If the product turns up defective later they will not replace, so factor in that cost in your budget. Don't buy from them if you cannot wait patiently for your emails to be replied to, as there is no phone number.
I personally would prefer Victoria plumb who have much better quality, better value for money and great customer service

Joined-up experience!

The web-site is well designed and I found it easy to find what I wanted. The price was very competitive and ordering straightforward. The shower was delivered very quickly and well packed. The follow-up e-mails a week later checking everything was ok and offering help if needed are a very nice touch and differentiates Plumbworld from most plumbing web suppliers in my opinion .

Genuine maker's part (Mira) at value price.

I have had three mira mixer showers installed in my house. However, after 13 years the shower heads were deteriating and after descaling them found little improvement.
Bought a replacement one online and was very pleased with the result - I forgot what it used to be like. The adjustable part of the head had not clicked properly for years and the holes were partly blocked. I was so pleased, I re-ordered another two for the other units although not used as much, had deteriated as well, over time. Verdict - don't mess around wasting time descaling - replace.

Easy to follow web site. Kept informed with progress of order. Used 2nd class post which was the only downside.

I chose this company to buy my new shower mixer from, purely based on price. It was the best that I found for the unit that I wanted. Before ordering I emailed their customer service desk to ask about delivery times. I got a really prompt response, and and offer to fast track my order if required. It was dispatched that day, and I got a personalised email telling me (plus the usual routing tracking information of course). Absolutely delighted, and will definitely use them for future purchases.

Helpful, slow dilivery.

Every thing was packed well and dispatched in good time, But took from April 19th (dispatch date), to May 4th to arrive. On May 3rd I telephoned and the young lady I spoke to was very helpful and investigated as to where it was and rang me back.

Good products @ the right prices and fine delivery

Found Plumworld through Google and found the site easy to use and the feedback from others encouraging. We ordered a shower tray, shower screen, shower mixer and a few smaller items. All were in stock, shipped the same day from their warehouse and at competitive prices. The items took a total of 4 days to arrive by Yodel. All were delivered at the agreed time and in good condition. I will definitely use them again.

No trap

i ordered popup waste from plumbworld it arrived in 10 days because I ordered during bank holiday. The priduct is fine it doesn't come with the trap though. I have it fitted to my bath tub it was ok but now I have problem that it drains very slow so I'm not sure why.

Superb!!

We were having a small en suite built .Ordered for all the items after the work had started . It was promptly delivered within 3 days. The shower enclosure , a very cute and small wash basin and toilet, all very good price and good quality. No damages , no problems at all. Will definitely use their service again.

Product is as described

It took longer to arrive than expected. Received an e mail saying it was being picked up on Monday from the depot so expected it by the end of the week at the latest. It didn't actually arrive until the following Thursday. I also could not track it with the delivery service. Apart from that, it hasn't been installed yet but looks as good in real life as it does in the on line pictures.

A good experience shopping on line. Was able to find all the products needed to complete in one place, Plumbworld.... all at very reasonable prices.
