Delivered a toilet and the pan was broken. I recon material defect as the box had not too many signs of damage. Getting my card issuers to look into the matter. Wanting me to buy a new one as i never opened the box in 30 days. Wants almost the same price for a pan alone as the whole set. Said it was a good will gesture. Well see what my card issuers say. Looking for a full refund now.
Contacted Plumbworld on the net ,their brochure was easy to follow, and the prices Wow they got my attention, sorted my order placed it andin less than a week all delivered ,and the customer service I will find it hard to beat although I do not think we will be shopping elswhere for plumbing equipment, Funny our daughter says she had the same experience.

Ordered shower unit at a good price, but, no indication of the problems to come with delivery. Automatic next day delivery by a carrier who required a signature on delivery. Not only that but the carrier could not give a decent timeslot for delivery, thus needed to re-arrange so someone could take a WHOLE DAY OFF to wait in for delivery. Having phoned and agreed a date for delivery the carrier proceeded to try and deliver on the original date!
Product is exactly what I wanted but if plumbworld continue to use a carrier who provides such a poor service then I will not be a returning customer.
I found what I wanted on the website with little effort. It was well described with good links to technical information, and the price was good. The ordering system was simple and the correct item arrived quickly and in perfect condition. What more can you ask for! I will use them again and would recommend them.

As a plumber I will find plumbworld very hard to use as the delivery dates change. It went from 72 hours to 144 hours. This is no good for some one who is on the move all the time.
Having searched the internet for a shower enclosure i opted for plumworld because of choice and price.Having ordered my items and paid i was told when to expect delivery and by which carrier. It was delivered quickly and at the time quoted.All in all an excellent expierience and i would recomend Plumbworld to anyone
Upon receiving goods an hour late thus making my customer get up early as time slot was 0700 -8-30 , upon trying tray in place noticed that acrylic cover was slightly lifting from stone resin base , I reported this to plumb world and received a very snooty reply from your customer services saying it was made of volcanic dust , well I spend upwards of 20'000 pounds a year on bathroom suites and will not be using plumb world again .

After spending over £40,000 renovating my house my kitchen tap decided to break down. My sink is an oversized one in keeping with my husband's profession of a chef,
due to it's size, it's difficult to find one to replace it. When I discovered the tap was faulty, I decided to renew the whole lot and to incorporate a waste disposal unit. I had chosen an expensive black gloss counter tops, and the apperture for the existing sink is far larger than any others which I have seen on the internet, therefore I have changed my mind and am now keeping my existing sink. During this whole renovation project my chosen builder is very pedantic and his attention to detail is second to none. However, his nit pickey disposition has made the whole job take much longer than anybody could ever have imagined. This is the first place I look when buying plumbing items, and would recommend to family and friends. Absolutely Fabulous! range of goods from the cheaper end to the designer look , I love my new home, partly thanks to Plumbworld.
We were recommended to plumbworld by a friend and are most grateful. It was easy to shop and browse and we were more than happy with the prices. Delivery took three days so no complaints their either. We haven't fitted the items yet but don't see any problems.
Really good service and communication throughout. Shower is much better than the one it replaced and the cost was far cheaper than other quotes and RRP. Would recommend to my friends.
No problems encountered will definately use plumworld again.
We purchased more or less two bathrooms worth of items including showers, sinks a bath and towel rails for our flat refurbishment.
Two issues were experienced.
The first issue I had was with delivery in that the courier company wouldn't deliver into the house due to it being such a large order. I was lucky in that tradesmen were on site to move everything from kerbside into the flat. Plumbworld were up front about it however and refunded the additional assisted delivery charge so I was pre-warned and had the costs refunded before the delivery.
Second issue was with a cracked sink. This was simplicity itself to sort - few photos to Plumbworld and a replacement was arranged and delivered without any fuss. At the end of the day Plumbworld are at the mercy of their couriers here so no fault attributed to them.
One thing to remember here is that I'd paid for extended inspection for the items - this gave me a longer period of time to report any issues. It helped enormously with the sink issue since the time between installation and delivery was almost three months.
All in all then a very positive experience and we're more than happy with the end results.
Be aware if you order a left hand tray they send you a right hand tray ????? yes thats right on 4 other web sites a left hand tray is what it says it is a left hand tray not on plumworld. i have had nothing but problems THEY DONT ANSWER EMAILS TILL DAYS LATER AND WHEN THEY DO THEY ARE RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL., THEY HAVE NO TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CALL. We ordered a left hand tray they sent a right hand tray and told me thats what i ordered even though on my invoice it states LH tray the box says RH tray but then plumworld place a LH tray sticker over the packing ?? Again i have no idea why, yes they are cheap but if you want my advice i would shop elsewhere and pay the difference as the amount of trouble i have had its not worth it. The delivery guys were rude and late.
Plumworld left me without the correct tray for over a week before that meant my 3 young children had to stay with in laws as we have no bathroom due to plumworld mistake, then when they did finally answer my emails they said i had to pay for someone to pick the shower tray up wait 7 days for a refund re order and pay for del again total joke of a company. I was left fuming in the end i took it back myself even though the customer service team said that was not possiable, and it opened my eys up as when you pull up at goods in the warehouse is full and i mean full of returns and damaged items. the only reason we went with plumworld is because they were cheap well never ever again my advice save the extra money and go elesewhere. VERY VERY BAD NON HUMAN COMPANY SHOCKING SERVICE
Very pleased with the quality of the product and price and reasonably quick delivery. Unfortunately even thought Plumbworld warehouse worked on weekend couriers did not so next day delivery didn't quite work out. When I contacted couriers they said there was a problem with the consignment number and to contact Plumbworld but could only do so by e-mail but item turned up before I received a reply so there was no need to pursue the matter and very pleased with the shower
In March I ordered 9 radiators but two of them were not in stock. Fine, I was prepared to wait for the remaining ones and have the first lot delivered. No notice of when delivery would be, they just turned up. I had paid for all of them.
THen started the plethora of automated emails - delivery to the warehouse would be 5th April, then it would be 11th April. Wrote to customer services- only reply was that I was number 29 in the queue.Last two radiators did not come so I checked the tracking. All it said was that the last two radiators had not been shipped. I already knew that. Wrote to the MD as one of the automated emails said he would help if there was a problem. Another automated reply but no actual response.
Three days later I looked again at the tracking info and it said there was a "problem with payment" and to phone the payment team. Got an answer machine and left a message. No return call. Since I had paid in March for the full order I knew there was not a problem with payment.
In frustration I cancelled the last two rads and bought them in five minutes flat from Wickes at only a few pounds more each.
Plumb world may be cheap, but automated emails and no real contact does not lead to customer satisfaction. I dread to think how you would get hold of a real person if you had a problem with an item. Certainly would not buy from them again.
I paid for next day delivery, but did not receive the product until 2 days later. Unfortunately they use Yodel. I would not have bought a product from them had I known that. I bought a very expensive Mira electric shower. One of the front fixtures was broken. They arranged a replacement for it, but it is impossible to install without a special tool. Even using an Allen key didn't help. I would not buy anything from them.
I recently purchased several items from Plumbworld as I have done on several occasions in the past. The items were delivered to me on Friday 22 March 2013 in good time for the planned work on the following Easter weekend. Sadly, at that point it was discovered that, whilst the Mira shower appears to be superb quality for the price it was not the most suitable product to replace the existing shower that I already have.
I then looked up Plumbworld's returns procedure on their website and, following their instructions, emailed on Easter Monday 1 April 2013 so that they would receive the request first thing on Tuesday 2 April 2013 requesting a returns number so that I could return the unused product to them for a refund. They advertise a 30 day money back guarantee.
I was surprised by the negative response that I received from the Customer Services Adviser which stated that they were unable to help as they have to be notified within 7 days.
I looked up their returns policy again and remained confident that while Plumbworld's returns policy states they must be notified within 7 days I was covered by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 / Returns Since 31 October 2000 UK which states that consumers now have the right to cancel their order within a "cooling off period" of 7 working days starting the day after delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, email or letter and sent to their address as listed on the contact page of their site . If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods to them in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for their costs in recovering the goods. You must make sure the goods remain undamaged and unused.
I gained further confidence from the fact that Plumbworld is a member of Safebuy which, among other things, reassuringly talks about it's members providing up to a 14 day cooling off period.

I informed customer services that I have never attempted to return an item to Plumworld before. I wasn't expecting so much difficulty in returning this product to them and I am confused about the issues that are raised. I cannot find any reference on individual products which highlights which of their products are covered by the advertised 30 day guarantee, and which are not, but I have notified them by email within 7 working days as prescribed in the Consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 , downloaded Plumbworld's return form and followed the instruction that requires me to ask you for a returns reference number. The product is unused. The product was delivered on 22 March 2013 and, taking into account the Easter Weekend public holiday they were EASILY notified within 7 working days. If they would provide me with a retuns number I would return the item.
Once again my request for a returns number was refused on the basis that Plumbworld operates a returns policy of informing them within 7 days and NOT 7 working days as the legislation states.
Disappointed with the situation, on Thusday 4 April I sent an email to Plumbworld's managing director to give him the opportunity to restore my confidence in his company.
To date, I have not any acknowledgement or response from him.
I was previously happy with the service that Plumbworld provided and I have recommended them to others.
Next step - I guess - is reporting the matter to trading standards.
Placed order for our new shower on Good Friday. Received email confirmation and parcel tracking information. Due to Easter holiday we weren't expecting our shower until later on in the week, it arrived on the Wednesday morning.
The shower is great and a great price nearly £60 cheaper than a certain catalogue shop.
First time we have used Plumbworld but wont be the last.
Our 5 star rating comes without hesitation and we will go to Plumbworld first of all should we need to!

If you have the money and can afford to purchase from elsehwere then do it. The way they keep their prices down, is to have no customer service at all. Plumbworld seem to love a game of ping pong email without any resolution to problems.
My problem was sorted by myself after contacting the manufacturer direct and without Plumbworlds intervention.
No response when asking for complaints procedure or needing to get something done, just a total stonewall.
CEO says he no longer needs to work for money (Lucky Boy) but does it for the fun of the game.
Shame we arent all in the same position and can afford to shop elsewhere.
I will never use this company again, Id sooner pay double and have a decent after sales service.

I was a little wary because of some of the negative reviews here (and the lack of a contact phone number) but they had the shower I wanted at an incredible price - 80 Quid less than Screwfix! I paid for next day handling, as I needed it urgently - sure enough, next morning the despatch email popped through, and the day after that, Citylink delivered the shower.
For me, they did exactly what they said, quickly, and I got the product I wanted at a great price.
Shower arrived by courier who could be heard moving stuff around in their van, one of them then carried a carton into the house clearly marked two men lift and glass handle with care and he prompt;y dropped it!.
The cartons looked bashed and on checking we had three damaged parts two of which looked like they had been knelt on. We immediately contacted plumbworld, but 36 hours later have not heard when we or if we are going to get replacement parts.
We knew that they didn't have a telephone number when we ordered the parts, but they ensured us they promptly reply to emails, which is true, but it is an automatic response telling you that you are 249th in the queue.
It may cost you a bit more, but for the sake of your sanity use somebody with a telephone number.
