Negligence,Mishandled and Failed to Deliver Goods Safely to customer

I bought collection and delivery of parcel ( APPLE I PAD 2 16GB) from POSTAGESUPERMARKET.com. for £22.67on 7th April 2014.It was a collection from Netherlands to deliver parcel in u.k.
unfortunately that day because of network error or some glitch keep coming it was showing me purchase with 3 different prices and i couldn't bought the right purchase with extra cover, I could only realized after making a payment and got recite(content value wrong/and no extra cover). at the end i could manage to bought the quote given by postagesupermarket.
My parcel was arrived in very very bad condition on 10th April 2014.When parcel arrived the box was band in half (like u).straight away my husband opened the parcel my Apple i pad 2 16 gb was cracked and band as some big truck Tyre has passed on from it.he took all the pictures and i refused to take the delivery of my parcel because this is not what i have expected.and no body would order/buy or gift a someone a total broken or damaged goods.and nobody even expects their parcel to be damaged in post or in transit.
when i contacted POSTAGE SUPERMARET FOR CLAIM---- they have sent me an email saying-

I am really sorry that TNT have damaged your parcel whilst in transit.

Unfortunately with the contract which we hold with TNT we are unable to claim for any damage which happens.
This is displayed during the booking process and extra cover is offered to you.
If the wrong booking has been placed you was able to contact us to cancel and refund and you could then place a new booking with the extra cover in place. We are unable to add any cover to your parcel now or swap the bookings to the one with extra cover.

I am sorry but you have agreed to our terms and conditions with the courier that you agree your item is not covered for damage and only loss. This was clearly stated during the booking process.

Due to this we are unable to process any claims for the damage which has been caused.
Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you.

WHEN I CONTACTED TNT EXPRESS courier services
They said you are not my direct customer and postagesupermarket is not allowing us to deal directly with you.so what ever you need do deal directly with them and if they come to us for any claims we will help you..
But If you go for postagesupermarkets terms and conditions it clearly says that DAMAGES ARE NOT COVERED.
SO EVEN IF YOU BUY EXTRA COVER FROM postagesupermarket YOU ARE NOT COVERED FOR DAMAGES CAUSE BY THEM OR THE COURIER COMPANIES THEY USED. Then who is responsible for damage of yr parcels ?????????????????

PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL WITH BUYING ANY SERVICES .THEY WILL REFUSE ALL YR CLAIMS AND YOUR MONEY IS GONE AND YOUR PARCELS ......would like to upload photos so that everyone can see the state of my parcel and think before using them but this sites does not allow me to upload.....it was very sentimental because it was gift from my brother and could not stop writing ....

Brilliant service - will definitely use again!

I had quite a large package that I had to send to Palma de Mallorca and checked out the major people to send it there for me. Most came back with ridiculous quotes which were worth far more than the package! I then found Postagesupermarket which gave a truly competitive quote and one which I was prepared to pay. Anyway as promised it was collected the next day from my home and then delivered at its destination in Mallorca within 5 days. The parcel was marked Fragile - With Care as it was quite a big framed picture. I had of course packed it very thoroughly with bubblewrap etc but was obviously very worried about the glass being broken. However, I learned that it had arrived at its destination (by the excellent tracking system) within 5 days and when opened, it was in perfect condition. Well done Postagesupermarket. I will definitely use your service again.

Great service for first time user

I'd never used a service like this before, but had to send a heavy (32 kg) towbar that I sold on eBay. I was able to book the service on Sunday evening, choose a carrier (TNT Express) and the package was picked up from my work on Monday, and delivered on Tuesday. I had problems because postagesupermarket's online tracking didn't work, and kept on telling me that the item was not on TNT's system, which was a worry. However, the online contact form allowed me to get in touch, and I had a prompt reply from an advisor (Karen) with a real e-mail address, so I could go back to her with more correspondence. Tracking still didn't show up on their site, but the advisor gave me TNT's tracking number, which showed the package en route. Apart from the tracking problem, service was 100% good, and about half the price I was finding going direct to shippers. I would use this service again.

Quick to take you order and money but after that your on your own

Had a parcel sent using the business expedient service via TNT as the courier.
Firstly they messed up the booking, and had to wait three more days before it was finally collected.
Then no news of it arriving, so i checked up and the status was showing as 'there is a problem please contact TNT'. That's great as no one told me anything, I could have waited ages and not known.
But contacting TNT was useless as they just made me wait another week while "investigating" it. Eventually they decided to pass the buck back to Postagesupermarket.
This was bad enough, except now to add insult to injury Postagesupermarket did not want to help, saying its in the hands of TNT now, and insisted I have to call the international TNT offices ! Even they know full well the whole saga and the fact these where Xmas presents which were now already nearly 2 weeks late.
I am still awaiting delivery of the item even now. Really cannot recommend Postagesupermarket, since if they take your order and money, they should see the service through to the end, but instead take the stance that once the order is taken and exited the UK, it is then between you and the courier and customs of that country to sort out. Absolutely appalling.

Very efficient and quick service

I booked a collection of a parcel from spain to be delivered to the uk. The parcel came from a remote area in spain, but still they managed to pick it up and deliver it to my house in JUST 2 DAYS!! It's amazing! The parcel was not at all damaged and everything was perfect. The best part is that I didn't have to print anything, the company took care of all the paperwork (print the delivery label and stick it on the parcel) so I just booked the collection, filled in the details and waited for it to arrive.
I recommend this company very very very much to everyone.

Simply spot-on

I tried for months to get someone to collect a 53kg van roof rack from the Midlands and deliver to a fairly remote address in the Scottish Borders. Then I found Postagesupermarket.com and having placed the order just before 6pm, the rack was uplifted the following afternoon and delivered mid morning the next day. Collected by TNT, delivered by Stuart Park Haulage of Kelso and managed by Postagesupermarket.com. Brilliant teamwork delivering superb service. Thank you!

FAST EFFICIENT SERVICE

I sent a parcel to South Africa, left my home on Thursday afternoon, was delivered to my son's home on Monday morning. That address is a slightly remote address too. Staff were helpful with paperwork, collection driver picked up what he regarded as an error in my paperwork, he waited patiently while I corrected. On line tracking on the website was great, altogether a service worth recommending and certainly I will use them again. Their online quote was about half of those of the 'big boys' in the courier service.

Brilliant

I needed to send a parcel home for my sister but it was proving difficult due to the prices some companies charged, poor reviews, unreliability and general tips to avoid them!
I was going to attempt taking the gift apart and taking it home to Ireland in my hand luggage but really didn't want to do that as nobody likes an opened, upside down and in many pieces gift!!
I found postage supermarket on the Internet, read their reviews and decided to take the chance! I was always going to be reluctant with an online company but the one thing about postage supermarket is that they have a valid web page, valid email address, valid company address and most of all they answer the phone when you ring!
The price was so cheap compared to what I had been previously quoted which again made me think this was too good to be true but I had the backing of good reviews and a phone number should anything go wrong!!
I booked online, the parcel was picked up the very next day, all instructions easy to read and follow and parcel labels were easily printed!
My parcel arrived within 48 hours which is a shorter duration than what I paid for!
Best of all my parcel was also still in perfect condition!!!
Great service!! Highly recommended by me and by a very fussy sister!!!

Postage Supermarket are superior to all other parcel service booking agents

I have been using Postage Supermarket for many years now, since they were formerly Bananadoo (I'm pleased that they changed their name as I always found it tricky to spell!) and they have been consistently excellent. They are very speedy to deal with any problems (not of their doing but of the couriers or my own malfunctions) and they even have a phone number so that you can speak to a real person if you need help. Their rates are excellent and it's good to see that they have added some new services recently. We tend to use Parcelforce even though they are a bit more expensive as they have never let us down. Great stuff, I hope they keep up the good work as it makes our job a lot easier!

Wonderful and fast service

I used postagesupermarket to send 6 medium boxes from the UK to the US (london to Los Angeles. The packages all arrived in 4 business days. The driver/collector was very nice and helpful. I had absolutely no problems with their service and the cost for shipping was way less than their competitors and significantly less than Royal Mail.

I have used a few courier service providers in the past. However none have matched the standard of service in delivery and customer relations to postagesupermarket. Prompt delivery internationally, great price. I would recommend to anyone to go through postagesupermarket.

I know you wont believe me when I tell you, I had a package of urgent documents I wanted delivering to Spain, the courier picked them up at 4pm on the 8/05/2013, they
were delivered the next day 9/05/2013 at 5.30pm, I just could not believe anyone could
deliver an item so quickly, I am well impressed.

Excellent from Start to finish

I used Parcelsupermarket.com for the first time recently to send a large heavy parcel to Norway. From the very start they were very helpful and re-assuring. The price was excellent and the documentation required was straighforward. The parcel was picked up on time by Parcelforce and arrived in Norway 5 days later. Excellent Customer Service and Prompt Delivery

I used Postagesupermarket to get a phone sent from Belgium. Unfortunately TNT returned the phone to the sender as they required additional documentation for the phone battery.

However, Postage Supermarket liaised with TNT directly and provided me with updates on a regular basis. Guy at Postagesupermarket was proactive and kept in touch with me via e-mail. He rearranged delivery and even contacted me when TNT had trouble getting hold of the sender.

When the re-delivery occurred the phone was picked up in Belgium on a Tuesday morning and was with me in the UK on the Wed afternoon.

Excellent service a superb customer service. I have no hesitation in using them again.

An excellent service, so much so i came back for more!

This is a great company. FullStop.
I had to send a pc and equipment to Romania from the UK and used PostageSupermarket to book TNT and their global express service for a 50kg+ item, something that as an individual is impossible - it's business only as far as TNT go.
I had never sent anything abroad so it was very new to me, and I called them at least 10 times to ask about things such as packaging, any duty that would have to be paid by the receiver, the need for invoices and so on. Every single time they were patient and explained everything to me. Regarding the vat/duty they even called HM customs to double check for me before i booked.

Today, a month later, I became a repeat customer, again choosing to use the TNT global express feature though this time for a much smaller package. TNT unfortunately didn't arrive, the driver reported he was running late and wouldn't make it in time (don't confuse this though, TNT confirmed they had received the booking from PostageSupermarket well within time and it was booked) so I sent a collection failure email at around 7pm - after their closing hours, to ask for a rebooking.
At 6am or so an email was waiting for me from PostageSupermarket, apologising and informing me that it had been rebooked as i asked! I didn't even have to call to ask them to check their email or book for me asap.

It has been a pleasure to use their service, and I might add that the customer service I received from TNT was also excellent. I called several times about my delivery to check it was progressing and everything was ok with it, they were very friendly and patient.

I would certainly recommend this company, PostageSupermarket to anyone sending things abroad. They have excellent customer care, are easy to talk to and know their product! They aren't just guys who thought 'I know, I'll set up a postage company'. They know the laws, the rules, the paperwork and everything associated and are just a call away when you're confused or want to double check something.

The Fastest Collection-Delivery Time EVER! TNT

This is an excerpt of an email I sent to Postage Supermarket having booked a service by TNT via their website:

I booked the TNT Global Express service with yourselves on Monday 26/11/12, it was collected Tuesday and delivered about 21 hours later, and all that from UK to Estonia door to door!

I just wanted you to know that. Someone either put a rocket under TNT's backside or else this has to be the fasted scheduled delivery time ever!

What can I say? Thank you. Maybe you can pass this onto your TNT agent.

You won't believe this can happen UNTIL IT HAPPENS TO YOU! BEWARE!

I booked a surface mail package with postagesupermarket. This is what happened in chronological order:

1. Their courier picked up the wrong package.
2. They did not apologise for the mistake, no try to rectify it.
3. Matt at UPS was a godsend, and fixed everything for me, getting the parcel forwaded to postagesupermarket's hub AT NO COST TO ME. (UPS are amazing!)
4. Postagesupermarket then tried to send my package via air, it was returned to them because there was a lighter inside (that you are legally allowed to send via surface mail) and because of this they tried to charge me 50 quid to remove the lighter themselves and resend it, or charge me 20 quid to have it returned to me, ON TOP of the 50 quid I paid initially. (Bearing in mind they never actually picked the package up, which was what I was paying for.)
5. When I stated their customer service was poor, and I wanted the package returned to me and a refund, they demanded me to pay their fees or they would destroy my package, which I had already stated was full of priceless letters, photos and souvenirs.

I have never had a worse or more stressful customer service experience in the two years I have been sending packages back home to Australia. I am sure they get it right most of the time (as is evidenced by the positive feedback) but BEWARE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG; They will DEMAND MONEY, SHIFT THE BLAME AND NOT GIVE A STUFF HOW YOU FEEL.

Use UPS - their prices are higher but their customer service is ABSOLUTELY FAULTLESS. Greg from postagesupermarket was rude, arrogant, unhelpful, didn't offer any solution other than robbing me of more than my money and clearly does not CARE about his customers. I repeat:

Our courier did not even attend the collection address. The collection failed. We have electronic proof of this should anyone wish to contact us to view it. We did all that we could to help this customer, however I think you can see from the review they have left, they clearly had no doubt in their mind who was to blame, even though it was clearly themselves. Again we have all of the emails relating to this matter (even emails from UPS confirming that the customer had in fact given the wrong parcel to the wrong driver in the first place) should anyone wish to see them.

With regards to the surface mail issue. I am not sure where this customer even got this idea from. We don not offer any surface mail services outside of the EU, and I am sure that 99% of people are aware that lighters cannot be taken on board an aircraft due to the security risks. Again, all relevant emails available on request.

We are an honest company who does its best for every single one of our customers. We are easily contactable on 01304 202300, or email sales@postagesupermarket.com (guaranteed reply). Give us a ring and speak to us, you will see that we are not the company this customer is trying (and failing) to portray.

Prompt service

Very prompt and good service. I had to collect an international parcel. I had some questions and phoned them. I got prompt and good advice.
Delivery was exactly as promised and delivered in good condition.
