Received an envelope in post -would never have thought of using a service that you send gold in the post! But after reading it was tracked etc -thought I would give it a go -sent away an old ring and a charm bracelet -then I got a text 2 days later saying they had an offer for me which I was happy to accept! The only thing I would say is if the offer could have been emailed and an facility to click "accept offer" just because you are closed at the weekend -but fantastic service and would highly recommend anyone to search around, see what you can find and sent it away! Will Definately be recommending you to all my friends.thanks again
It was good fun clearing out the drawers and thinking that the old jewellery might be worth a fortune......it seemed to weigh many ounces, but when the estimate came it was a little disappointing. Nevertheless it was money to spend and not to waste its time in the drawer.
Random opening of unsolicited mail found professional letter and explanation of service - no obligation - tidy up in junk drawer yielded cash! Nice little earner
I needed money for my girl birthday and I was offered not even a quarter of the value of the gold.
I know it's a business but cheating on people that have no money is not really moral!
Always wary of unsolocited post but took a chance on this. Had been intending to dispose of some unwanted bits and pieces for ages so this prompted me into action. Posted my package Monday night and got a call on Tuesday with an acceptable price offer. Very efficient, very polite and would happily recommend to anybody.
I would never have considered doing anything like this if I hadn't received the information in the post. The letter was very reassuring and made it easy to trust the whole process also the process was really easy and straightforward and everything was provided for you.
Most importantly all the promises in the letter regarding timescales and customer service were kept.
Very good and I would definitely use this service again
I sent an 18ct ring which weighed 9.3gm. I already had a rough idea of what it was worth but was called by postgoldforcash after they received it, and they offered me a grand total of £37!!! That worked out at about £4 per gram (18ct)!! Considering £20+/gm 18ct is the norm at the moment I almost fell off of my chair!
The operators excuse for this offer was that they had "overheads" that other companies didn't. They must have some serious overheads to offer a fifth of the market value!
After some time and two further offers the operator then up'd my offer to £200 (saying they could sell it to their sister company for that price). What a load of old tosh! The whole thing was a blatant attempt at trying to buy my gold at a ridiculous price in the hope that I had no idea of it's value.
I accepted the £200 offer as I was happy with that price, but i still think there is massive dishonesty with their initial offers, and the operators are probably on massive commission to get sellers to accept lower offers. I suggest in future that the first offer made to customers should be what the gold is worth, and not a price at which you think you might be able to rob it off of someone for.
The postal pack and other parts of the service are good and the money was transferred to my bank 3 days after they received the ring.
After sending my gold off to postgoldforcash.com I was very disappointed by their offer but they upped it by nearly 4 times when I said no. I had an offer over here ( Belfast ) which was really good so I read about postgoldforcash.com and thought they would have gave me a lot more but I only got £35 more than I was offered in Belfast but apart from this they do have an excellent posting service and at the end of the day I still got nearly what I wanted Just don't except what they offer you 1st. I'm waiting for the money which will be in my bank soon and cant wait to sort out my bills etc.
Prompt professional service, but items not used have never been returned to me
I only posted 2 pieces of gold, not great deal I'll agree. I had weighed them as 6g. When I got the phone call I was offered a mere £11. Strange when you consider the price of gold per gram! Eventually I had to settle as the woman, who was claiming to talk to a 'supervisor' quadrupled the offer, still way below market value but by now I'd been kept on the phone for so long I caved. I shouldn't have. The real value was nearer 8 times the amount I was first offered. Only use if you have some knowledge of the market & patience, would not recommend, AT ALL.
They gave me a reasonable amount of money for the gold I sent. They sorted through it quickly and gave me the price within 24 hours. Excellent. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
I found some unwanted pieces of gold that were broke so I posted them to post for gold and got a very nice supprise when I had the phone call to say how much it was worth the money brought me two charms for my pandora bracelet.
I was really pleased with this service, it was free to post, fast turnaround and the amount I was offered was a nice surprise and the payment was in my bank account very quickly.
I was over the moon when I received a call less than 24 hours after I posted my gold. I got a great price, nearly 5 times what I was expecting. To top it all I got my cash less than 24 hours after I got the offer. Thank you so much - I am going to tell all my friends and family so I can get more money with your referral scheme (what a great idea).
I was very impressed with the service and amount cash i recieved from post gold for cash for my gold and silver,
I did not expect to get the amount i did,
It came at a perfect time as i had some bills outstanding,
