If you want a city break or somewhere to stay when visiting family or friends, go for a Premier Inn. The rooms are spacious and clean, with good facilities. There is always a pub-style restaurant attached, with good breakfast and dinner options. I always look for a local Premier Inn on their website if I need a stop-over anywhere in the UK.
We arrived late (9.55 on Friday night). The welcome staff ensured that we were able to eat before we checked in so that we didn't have to go out again. The room was clean, warm and welcoming. We had a good stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you for a fabulous stay.
Never stayed at a Prem Inn before but i shall be doing again, especially at Kensington (earls court). Ideally situated in London, very clean & welcoming inside but could do with car parking facilities or discounted parking arrangements for guests at a locally managed car park. Very close to tube. 9/10 due to parking. If you are not in car then its a 10/10!
(This review concerns the LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT (Bath Road) Premier Inn and not Premier Inn hotels in general)
My experience of this hotel was largely good with the exception of two specific issues. My first issue was that both the sheets and the pillows on the bed had brown stains on them. Furthermore, I found a squashed piece of chocolate (at least I HOPE it was chocolate!) stuck to the sheets. I imagine this will have been a one-off as the rest of the room was clean but it made me doubt the cleanliness of the room I was sleeping in. My second issue was that when I came to check-out, the person at the reception desk could not care less. He didn't even look up from what he was doing, and certainly didn't ask me about my stay. This, coupled with the efficient but impersonal check-in machine, resulted in a very unfriendly impression from the hotel. Other than this, the hotel is comfortable, has plenty of facilities, and for an airport hotel is very quiet.
Arrived for breakfast at 630am, member of staff crossed my name off but that was the only contact staff made. I wanted a veggie breakfast as advertised but non was on offer. There was no staff around to ask how breakfast works & another guest showed me where to get tea and coffee from.
The hotel is sited well for airport and Bus 747 from airport goes reasonably close. A 10 min walk from the bus stop. If you have heavy bags you might want to take a cab.
the water was scolding hot in bathroom basin. and the noise from people in the above room was terrible, it woke everyone up. other than that it was fine, nice and clean , nice beds for the children too.
The overall stay was 99% great. The only thing was having to carry the iron & the board up to the 11th floor and looking a little silly, without one member of staff asking if I needed help. I was just handed the items and that was pretty much it. This will not stop me using the hotel chain though as they are always clean, tidy, warm and good Value for money.
Arrived at midnight to be told room is double booked, had to drive 5 miles to another hotel and receptionist unable to transfer booking so had to pay again! Have had to pay 10p per minute per phone call for the privilege of knowing whether my refund has gone through or not. Not impressed!!!
You get a great bed and a clean room. It could be slightly better value for money and goodness knows where you would have to travel to find their fabled "room from £29", but at least you will get a good night's sleep here.
Everything was great during our stay, except that the family room we got was rather small. Although we knew we shouldn't expect much from a budget hotel in London, but the fact that the beds filled up the room was still a thing to bear. I suppose the family room is just a double room with two extra single beds. I would rather pay a bit more for a family room for more comfort.
Premier Inn are just a great company to use. Not only can they be found all over the country, but they also have a high standard across them all. Fantastic beds (slept like a log!). My disability was well catered for without any fuss, and if you make sure the disabled room has a wet room as opposed to a bath/shower, it's really easy, even when travelling alone :)
This hotel was in the town center so fantastic for location with plenty of choice to eat right on the doorstep. The rooms were to a very high standard and very clean the disabled room i had. Actualy worked for a disabled person i was so glad to see wet room the staff that was on over the weekend were so helpful nothing was a broblem for them the staff staurt and kieth thankyou for making our stay rememberable
Bought wifi for 24 hours and only got an hour usage due to he wifi going down in just my room. Went to reception and they put me through to Internet provider, got it fixed but when I went up to the room again, wifi lost signal again, spent half the night in reception trying to fix it. Second night there was noise in the halls and noise from car park/streets, therefore that was another night with hardly any sleep. Only stayed there 2 nights. Also tried contacting customer services and when I eventually got through to them they were no help at all. If you are staying in Glasgow I would not recommend Premier Inn.
