Recently, my wife and I made a reservation via the prestigia website for a hotel in Dubai.
The total price listed in the confirmation mail we are paying is € 854.10. (797.77 for the hotel and €56.33 deposit).
However, 1045,52 (989.19 for the hotel and €56.33 deposit) was charged from my card. This is 200 euro more than listed in your confirmation mail.
We consider this very misleading and we are therefore very disappointed in the lack of transparency of the services Prestigia.com
Two months ago I organised to visit Morocco for a round trip, which means that I had to stay in many different hotels since I visited many areas of this beautiful country. I was aware of the fact that there were too many hotels in Morocco but many of them lack of good services so I had to search a lot online in order to be sure that the hotels/riads I am going to stay are going to be satisfying. I booked almost half of them through Prestigia (recommended by my sister) and now I wish I had booked them all through prestigia.
Due to the fact that prestigia only displays real 4 star and 5 star hotels of high quality (and not all of them that exist in each area) it is not very highly possible to make a wrong decision. As a result, the riads and hotels I booked through Prestigia were PERFECT with very good prices as well according to the great services they offer ! On the other hand, some of the other hotels that I stayed were not that good and had nothing to do with the way they were displayed online, due to the fact that they name themselves 4 stars and 5 stars, with extra photoshop in the photos. However, there is no evaluation from online travel agencies on whether these are trully good hotels while there are also many fake reviews that are misleading. For example the riad I stayed in Marrakech, which I booked through a big company, was evaluated as 4 star with many good reviews, but as soon as I reached the riad I just found myself in a totally different place than the one advertised. I was very irritated and this is why I am now writing this big report cause this ruined my stay in Marrakesh.
What I am trying to say is that for those people that need to stay in nice accommodation of high quality and good service when on holidays then Prestigia is the right company to use !!! If someone is just interested in low prices then look somewhere else.
Next time I want to enjoy my stay in a nice hotel I will use Prestigia again and I will chose a hotel with my eyes closed !!!
I booked a Hotel in Buenos Aires via Prestigia. The price appeared to be attractive compared to booking.com which I frequently use. In the end the Hotel charged a 25% higher price than stated in the prestigia portal. After signaling this issue to prestigia they told me that I am charged with the VAT of 21% and that the rest would be credited by the hotel. Sorry that I have to share this experience.
Booking through prestigia was fine at first but after ringing the hotel to confirm booking realized the amount i would be paying was an extra 20% each night for government taxes which is not advertised in the original price, or on the confirmation email witch already states vat has been paid. why not include all the rates been charged instead of been misleading in your adverts.
Just wanted to say that I have just come back from marrakech I booked a hotel through Prestigia. It was all very efficient and smooth. I even changed my dates of booking with them with no problems at all ...The service and the Riad Amira was amazing

Prestigia opkræver et depositum, hvilket jo i princippet er fint nok.
Ca 2 uger senere opdager jeg at der ligger en mail i min junkboks fra Prestigia at hotellet ikke kan hæve på mit kort og bookingen derfor ikke kan gennemføres.
Det er jo noget vrøvl både fordi at Prestigia selv har hævet fra mit kort og fordi betalingen skulle ske på hotellet. Jeg bliver derfor nød til at bestille et nyt hotel, fra hotels.com og få spærret mit kort så de ikke bare hæver penge som de har prøvet på.
Da jeg brokker mig og vil have mit depositum tilbage, kommer de pludselig i tanke om at det tilfældigvis er en med præcis samme navn som mig fra Danmark, som de ville ha skrevet til og det var en fejl.
Jeg har nu i 14 dage kæmpet for at få mit depositum tilbage.
Ils sont très efficaces, capables de résoudre rapidement tout problème que vous pourriez avoir. J'utilise Prestigia.com parce que c'est un moyen simple et facile de trouver les meilleures offres. Je trouve des informations précises sur l'hôtel. La confirmation est immédiate.
I have used Prestigia a few years ago on a trip to Rome and all was well, and I would definitely use it again, very good experience and will suggest my friends as I am impressed with the ease and after sale support. That was some good craic!
I used Prestigia many, many times! Best prices ever..Very Easy...I used them for stays in Egypt, Dubai, New York, San Francisco and Singapore ...
Off on holidays again soon in rhe summer and will use them again..!! Exellent customer service too :)

Just wanted to say I booked through Prestigia and then deciding the price was too good to be true went online to check them out. I was very very concerned by the reviews I found and contacted the Riad directly to confirm the booking and outstanding amount. However there was infact no problem at all and ended up having an idylic holiday in a superb riad for €450 less than I would have paid
I booked a hotel in Las Vegas through the Prestigia Website. I got the confirmation and my credit card get charged with the full amount. One Week later, I got an email, telling me that my booking is cancelled.
I couldn't understand what is going on and tried to call the customer service. There is a phone number to call but if someone answers you should feel yourself lucky! After several calls, I could reach someone from customer service. They told me, they will check my booking and call me back. And as you can expect, no one called me back...
I had to call them again.
At the end, they told me, that the hotel couldn't confirm my booking and they had to cancel my booking! The summary: if you book a hotel from this website, do not think the confirmation from Prestigia means something and you can stay at the hotel! Check always your emails, to be sure that your booking is not cancelled!!!
I recently booked accommodation in Europe. There was a glitch with my credit card debits - I was overcharged by one of the hotels. Prestigia sorted this out within 48 hours and arranged a refund. I would recommend them!

I booked a trip in asia for work, going to different countries. I had good rates, and could find great hotels, well located and trendy. I ll definitely use Prestigia again !!

Muchas veces me pasó con otras empresas de llegar a un hotel, que por foto parece muy lindo y en la realidad es un desastre.
Con Prestigia estoy tranquila que los hoteles que reservo estan seleccionados y que no voy a tener sorpresas. Tambien tienen muy buenos precios.
Por eso siempre que necesito viajar uso sus servicios. Gracias!
I was happy to discover Prestigia. I loved the hotel options. I've used it in Paris and in Spain. The hotels were very well priced and I had a great package. When I had a question about my reservation, customer service responded to me on the same day. I would definitely recommend this site. It is now my go-to for great holidays.

I experienced booking with Prestigia twice now and in these 2 times, I got really good deals.
On the 1st one I got a discount, the offer was 15% off on bookings made 30 days before arrival.
The 2nd booking we got a Complimentary Minibar.

We just spent a few days in Genoa Italy. we booked the hotel via Prestigia, but did have a few worries after reading their online reviews. There was no need to worry. We booked on line through a comparison web site a couple of days before we traveled. The site was easy to use with loads of info and put Prestigia at the top of the list on price for the hotel we picked. We paid a small set up fee to Prestigia on line as we booked and paid the difference when we left the hotel. The communications from them was good and the final cost was exactly as described. It was only the Hotel that let us down a bit. I will use the web site and Prestigia again.
Booked a room in Chicago and it was 10% higher than what they quoted me at! Misleading and more expensive than advertise!
UPDATE: The exchange rate noted for your deposit, not what the hotel was going to charge me. If you are going to do business in the US, customers expect the price you advertise is the price they will be billed for.
I had the same experience with my credit card. The response from Prestigia to the other complaint is NOT TRUE! My credit card was charged the same day and was 12% more then what was quoted. They post a lower rate than any other companies but in actuality they are MORE. Use booking.com or another reputable company....NOT PRESTIGIA!!! Save yourself lots of trouble. Amazing they do this to customers and have not been closed down.
I will be disputing the charge, contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation and had to cancel my credit card to stop further charges.
I have re-booked with another company and NO ISSUES on the conversion rates, interesting...huh??
we went to bali trough prestigia and we had a wonderful holidays. We went to 3 differents places on the island and each hotel we stayed in was very good. We found that prestigia is offering a very good selection of hotels in this area. We are planning to do a trip in south america on december and for sure we will plan it through Prestigia
I have to travel a lot for business and also use this company for my personal trips. I have nothing to say, I sometime had to complain about the hotels, but was able to change thanks to them the same day, if not the next one.
Comparatively with some other websites the service is much more personalised, and their hotel selection is really good.
I recently booked a hotel through this company and ended up being charged 7% more then the invoice indicated. They have a conversion chart from Euro to USD that is significantly less then the going rate. The USD price is provided in big bold numbers with a faint and hidden price in Euros. The bottom line is you are charged the Euro price. My transaction happened 2 months ago and they are continuing to still do this today. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the company.
Similar to Jane I am afraid I have had a dreadful experience with Prestigia and advise people to steer well clear.
They charged me for my deposit, and when I cancelled with two weeks notice I was well aware that they would charge me 50% of the amount 'charged to the credit card' which was 50% of my deposit - one day's stay.
However, upon my cancellation the hotel then charged me over 50% of my stay to my credit card and I am currently trying to get this back. Prestigia haven't transferred their amount back to me yet, nor the amount for the airport transfer which was fully refundable, and I gave no authorisation for my card to be charged by the hotel.
I have had two or three responses from Prestigia saying they are within their rights to do so but the fact that even if this was the case I would be owed some £80 for the overcharging which has not come back - only serves to highlight how dodgy this company is.
I am no longer receiving a reply and am trying to track down their travel regulator to be able to make a formal complaint.
I travel regularly and am aware some people complain because they are not used to reading the terms and conditions but I do and that is why I am so appalled by their breach of these and their subsequent service to resolve.

This company is a complete rip off. I booked a hotel stay to go to Nice, the agreed amount in my confirmation was £346 (quoted in sterling pounds). When I checked my credit card statement they had charged two payments one for £56 amd the other for £371 When querying the amount they sheepishly refunded £52 but refused to refund the outstanding £30 saying that it was a charge from the bank - at no point was I advised that my payment was going to be made in euros and even if it was why the amount be so much higher, if you do a transaction on a credit card in euroes it isn't even that high. The company were pretty rubbish at getting hold of and promised refunds which never materialised, finally they said they could only offer me a discount off any future bookings. I shall never book with them and shall we advising everyone I meet to do the same.
