Although Pret a voir didn't respond to my email but their online representative Alison is amazing. I wanted the Miu Miu sunnies and was eyeing it for a while. I emailed Pret a voir and decided to wait for for them to reply before I purchases my first sunnies from them. I waited for two weeks and they didn't respond so i decided to wait for Alison to come online and asked her questions. When she was online my sunnies was SOLD OUT. I was quite disappointed so I told Alison. She informed me new stock came in and I was able to purchase my long waited sunnies! The sunnies arrived yesterday. It came exactly two weeks in Australia! Thank-you! Definitely purchasing my Chanel next time.
I had never heard of this company but found an ad with a pair of Chanel reading glasses that I loved. Pretavoir asked me to send them the ad and they found the model for me. I gave them my prescription and hey presto, all sorted and they arrived in a couple of days. I dealt with the most delightful girl called Ellis in Customer Services who was fantastic. I'm now thinking about getting some prescription sunglasses too. I would thoroughly recommend this company - they were definitely 5 star.
Ordered a pair of glasses at 2.30pm and received an email confirming they were on their way to me at 4.30pm...."Seeing is believing" and they arrived by 11am the next day - unbelievable turnaround, prescription is spot on and puts many opticians both online and on the high street to shame.

My first experience with Pretavoir was years ago ordering a pair of Chanel frames. I was notified of a delay of a month which I accepted. However this was further delayed and I had to keep emailing to check for updates. The lady who took my order on the phone was also a bit curt and not as friendly as some of the reviews I had seen had led me to believe.
My second order was conducted wholly online a few days ago. They took my money instantly and now told me it was out of stock. I checked on the website and nowhere does it say it is out of stock. Why do retailers do this? I was offered a refund but now I have to draw on savings to go look for the frames elsewhere whilst waiting for my refund. They should only take your money after order has been processed and confirmed.
I have always been cautious when ordering things online, but was exceptionally so with my glasses. However, finding Pretavoir and after emails from Ellis (who was an exceptional help!) I ordered a pair of TAG frames. These were already nearly £100 cheaper then the high street and then the lenses were over £200 cheaper then the high street. All this and free delivery.
In top of that, I ordered on a Thursday and received my completed frames the next Monday! How's that for turnaround!

Hi. I am from US, and I they carry limited styles here. This was my first time ordering from Pretavoir, and it was a great experience. The glasses arrived in about a week, and they are perfect. The only thing I didn't realize is I had to pay Ancillary Fees and FDA processing fees, but the price and selection was still better than in the states. I would recommend this company to everybody!
This site has low prices, free delivery & fantastic service! I ordered my sunglasses for a very good price at about 4pm yesterday. That I'm now out at lunch in Stockholm wearing my sunglasses is simply unbelievable! Well done! I'll be recommending you to all my friends!
I only buy/use Maui Jim, but their new stuff can be hard to get. Pretavoir had everything, though, with all the options & exceptional prices. Opted for FedEx from UK to Hong Kong and they arrived two days after ordering. I'm now wearing them in Thailand :)
The product itself is excellent as was the service from Pretavoir. I used their live online chat to gain answers to a couple of questions; all answered immediately and to my full satisfaction, hence I went ahead with the purchase. I paid the additional £3.00 for special delivery which arrived less than 36 hours after placing the order......well done!
I have ordered a pair of glasses (cost nearly £500) over two weeks ago. I desperately needed the new glasses as my old ones were not usable anymore. I was promised that i will get them before noon on a Friday and not only didn't get them on that Friday I received my glasses on the following Wednesday after calling Pretavoir like a million times. I would have certainly paid more for a proper delivery service if i knew about this. So if you want your glasses ASAP don't count on this company.
This was my first purchase from an online opticians as I have quite a complex prescription (according to my Optician) and was concerned that things would go awry. However after a friend tried Pretavoir and I was assured that they would refund if there were errors I gave them a go. (The price on high st was just too high, £150 more than Pretavoir) I received my glasses with thin transitions lenses in 4 days and they are perfect. Thanks. I will be back next time I need glasses
Having already ordered 3 pairs of CHANEL frames, I had no hesitation whatsoever in going back to Pretavoir for more. Just as before the CHANEL frames are perfect and the service the same.I have dealt with both Sean and Laura and they are both a credit to the company.
I ordered a Fred Melville 8286 color 004 on the 12th of June 2013. After placing my order (100044975)and paying through creditcard, I received an email a couple of hours later stating that the color I ordered was out of stock. I replied back to cancel my order on the 13th of June 2013. Kindly they cancelled my order and I received a confirmation of cancellation of this order on the 13th of June from both Pretavoir and amazon through which I placed my payment. Till now Sunday the 16th of June I haven't received a refund after checking with my bank. I have received an email on Monday 17th June from Pretavoir stating that since I checked out through amazon, the money wouldn't have been taken from my account since it is only taken when the order ships. I have called back my bank customer service who told me that the transaction is on hold. I have to thank pret a voir for the speedy reply and clarification And for this excellent communication experience I have changed my rating
I ordered a pair of Chanel reading glasses (3221Q) from Pretavoir on a Monday morning (UK time) and they had them dispatched by the end of the day. Despite some delays (completely the fault of Australia Post), I still had the glasses in my hand within two weeks - which is quicker than OPSM had offered if I had placed an order in store! The glasses are lovely, and seem authentic. Only minor complaint is that the glasses case had some slight scratches/marks on the outside when it arrived - leather/covering seems to have been scratched off near the opening? Overall, amazing product and customer service (Special thanks to a lovely lady named Kim who took my order and helped out a lot when Australia Post misplaced the parcel). Saved me hundreds of dollars compared to any Australian store - I would definitely recommend Pretavoir!
Quick response to emails and glasses delivered to New Zealand within four days of posting. Excellent all round customer service and product from Pretavoir and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Totally Recommended by me. Thank you Ellis for all of your help.
