Good value for money, I went to Covent Garden and I was surprised with a good risotto. I'm somewhat distrustful from Italian chains in London but Prezzo is good value!
Visited Braintree's Prezzos with 15 others at lunchtime. Service was excellent and everyone got their food at the same time, piping hot. But why oh why is a 10% service charge added because there are more than 7 people at the table? It's optional but appears on the bill and cannot be left off and when paying the cashier makes the point that the bill is being paid without the service charge. As it turns out they received more than a 10% tip.
It just seems morally wrong to add this automatically, presumably in the hope people will not question it.
Went to Prezzo Albert Street recently and the restaurant that was far better than I ever expected. Yes I had a voucher with me which ruined the romantic ambience a bit, but the meals where very good value and even the drinks prices (which they normally use to offset the discount codes) weren't crazy. All in all a good Italian(esque) restaurant.
Had a meal at the Clacton restaurant that was far better than expected. Using an offer code made the meal very good value, the wime prices are marginally high for this sector.
