I found the Procook site on the Internet and was struck by their stylish design and reasonable price. As I wanted to see the saucepans (in the Gourmet aluminum range) before I bought, I was pleased to find a local outlet in Bridgend. At the shop, the staff were pleasant and helpful and also gave me an additional, unasked for discount. I am an experienced cook who wanted a set of saucepans which are both stylish and practical. I have been using them on a daily basis for a variety of dishes and have been completely happy with their performance and would be happy to recommend them.
Over the last couple of years I've slowly renewed almost everything in my kitchen and ProCook has been my "go to" company for everything I need and in the majority of cases I have then bought from them.
Most of what I have bought has been at a sensible price / quality point - better quality is available for a higher price elsewhere and equally lower quality cheaper items and can also be found elsewhere. The exception to this is in the pan ranges where a variety of price / quality levels can be found. I've avoided the very cheapest range and gone a level up and been generally pleased though wear and tear seems to be taking its toll a little sooner than I would have expected but it's too early to tell whether this will be a problem in the long run (the non-stick in a number of pans is badly scratched but its performance seems unaffected). I've opted to go up another level with more recent purchases.
One order failed to turn up when expected. It turned out I was warned about this by an email with Gmail diverted to spam. When I rang the company to enquire they were friendly and helpful, they explained the delay and actioned my subsequent instructions. And with their help I also found the missing emails. Can't say fairer than that.
I have bought several items from ProCook now and am thoroughly satisfied with the product quality and expedient service I get from them.
In fact, browsing the website gives met inspiration for my next purchases which, no doubt, will be again from ProCook.
I am confident that the prices of their fabulous items would surely attract any potential buyer. It is worth a try.
I purchased 2 steel containers, a hand sieve along with a steel collander. I already have a steel sieve but when used to strain pasta you get all the starch residue left so I was looking for a decent sieve for baking. The one at Prcook was just what I was looking for. It cleans up well and nothing gets left behind. I have used the collander for straining my pasta and like the sieve it cleans up a treat.
The steel canisters I wanted were for storing my husbands coffee. The glass ones are ok but the steel ones I can put in the fridge to keep the coffee fresh. Lovely and hard wearng.
I'm a big fan of ProCook 'higher end' cooking pans so thought I'd pick up the offer of everyday type pans and frying pan at a bargain price. Clearly they're nowhere near as good as my 'professional'range but at the price I can't fault them.
I bought two tri ply frying pans. They are very good quality and I think good value for money. They arrived the day after I ordered them .very happy with the service.
Slightly miffed as they cost £99 and I had to pay postage if they had cost £100 it would have been free.
I will be buying any cookware I need from precook in future.
I've ordered a coupld of cook's knives previously, which are fantastic and recently ordered a few more bits and pieces I needed. The site is easy to use and the choice of products is amazing. Easy to place orders and the delivery was speedy. I've added the site to my favourites and will be a regular customer! thanks everybody
ProCook offer a wide range of high quality products at very appealing prices. Their special offer prices are particularly good value and whilst delivery is not free is IS very very fast and reliable. Highly recommended.
Like most people my kitchen is well stocked with equipment but when I look to improve the quality or when something breaks then I look in ProCook first and so far have not been disappointed. When the last child moved out we needed to downsize our pans and for 29.99 we got a set of stainless steel pans which suit us nicely.
Bought these to replace my old stainless steel set which was looking a bit worn after 10 years of constant use. I couldn't decide between buying stainless steel or non-stick as previous non-stick pans have not worn very well even when I have used non-stick friendly cooking utensils, but as the pans have a 25 year guarantee I decided to take the chance. They look lovely and I hope they live up to 25 years of use. The pans are all a descent size as are the casserole dishes and stock pot, more than ample for a large family. Delivery was ultra quick too so all in all I am more than happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this company.
Ordered a pasta maker baking ,pans and small glass teapot .
Pasta maker very good already used it and made great pasta. the pans are fine and good quality , but glass tea pot not up to much .The strainer is solid at the bottom so the leaves are left in water instead of draining out . shame it spoilt the item for me.
Delivery was prompt but parcel was damaged at the bottom and the delivery driver put it on the floor without telling us it was open so it looked fine until we picked it up and found the bottom open . Luckily nothing was damaged or missing .
I have now ordered several items from Procook and I'm delighted with all of them. I honestly didn't expect such good quality for such low prices. The service is great too. Very prompt and hassle free. I would recommend Procook to all enthusiastic cooks.
I have purchased a number of items in the past year or so through pro cook, I have never had a single problem and all of the items have been of brilliant quality. I really cant find any down side at all. Will continue to use and recommend to all.
hi i ordered a biscuit/cookie maker from your web site,to find it doesnt work properly, and every tme you stamp out one biscuit it tightens the thread on the end neareast the handle making it impossible to get apart to clean ,we have tried many different ways to get this to work and then get it apart to no avail and i would be gratefull if you could send me an address to return it for a full refund ,,i am very dissapointed as it was the perfect tool for the job i wanted to do i think a plastic biscuit maker would work better because the metal threads tighten onto each other ,,,,many thanks for your help ,,
There is one ideal I always stick to and that is pay peanuts and you get a Monkey. The best way of buying quality is when it is on special offer and you get half off the cost and the PandP is nil or very reasonable. Pro cook I have always found to be excellent quality with good deals to be had, and this falls into that catorgary.
Today I received my new pan from Procook and I am thrilled to bits. I bought it because I have some relatives coming to stay and i wanted a big pan to saute meats and to make a big risotto. The pan was delivered very quickly and is very good quality. A good price too- my daughter wants one now!!
I was very please with the easy to order and quick delivery the only down side is I got sent a code of summer99 to get free postage with my next purchase, but when I made my next purchase it wouldn't accept it so I still had to pay for the postage.
Parcel arrived promptly. Unfortunately one pan was faulty. This was resolved more than satisfactorily. So no complaints at all. Only grumble was 2 days after we got them they went down in price :-(
The quality of my frying pan is second to none The deep triple layered pan can be used for anything. I have doneeverything from pan fried fillet steak to paella. its weighty so stayes on the ring without tipping.. Cookes evenly and is a joy to use. I will never use a cheap pan again.
Very pleased want some more
Have had ProCook items before and have always been pleased. This frying pan cooks evenly and washes without any effort. The free postage to the Isle of Man was great and the whole deal extremely good value for money. Will buy this range again.
Have bought numerous saucepans and cooking dishes from pro cook and they have been fantastic.
This time I bought their oven gloves and was totally disappointed. Using them for the first time I went to get a hot dish from my oven and had to put it down ultra quickly because my fingers were burning! The gloves look and feel as though they are thickly padded but obviously the heat transfers through them very quickly. I was in pain for quite a few hours after that.
I contacted pro cook the very next day and immediately got a refund but no other communication.
I will continue to order my saucepans and other cookware from pro cook - just avoid the oven gloves.
