Product Fantastic £150 cheaper than argos, delivery cock up!!
The product was a third cheaper than advertised in Argos and we used Proformfitness having read their reviews and the fact they were local. The product looks and operates spot on and is heavy duty. The only disappointment was promising to deliver between 4 and 8 on a Friday evening and didn't, we eventually got it Tuesday evening between 4 and 8 (7pm). As it happened nothing spoiled but don't say you are going to do something and then don't bother, you offered this time to us and we said yes, we didn't ask for this time!

Could not Assemble - Wrong Parts
I received the machine yesterday and could not assemble it. The #8 x 3/4" (2) silver screws do not fit into the left and right hand rails. A call was raised immediately with service center who would check if correct screws are available in warehouse and revert. Disappointing.

Please, please, please save your sanity and buy elsewhere!
The bad:
I've had to wait in three times and my order did not arrive even though I received a confirmation phone call and text message. It was finally delivered on the fourth promised date, yes ... That's the FOURTH promised date, three weeks after the order was placed.
I was promised a gym mat as goodwill, on my insistence .... Really they should have offered something, and that did not arrive with the gym equipment. Can I put myself through the waiting game again, I think not!
This is not the level of service you expect when you've just spent £430 of your hard earned money!
I'm already regretting signing for it now, if this is what you have to go through to buy something what is it going to be like if the equipment is faulty!!
Do yourself a favour, don't put yourself through it, buy elsewhere!
The good (I'm trying to be fair, facts only here):
The staff were friendly, and calls answered quickly ..... But that means nothing if promises aren't kept. It's not like a £10 mat was even enough for waiting in three times for the whole day not to receive your items.

UNFRIENDLY support staff
I have tried to buy a £1300 exercise bike. The bike arrived Friday and I assembled it Saturday. It did not work once assembled. This is a complex item and sometimes things don't work out of the box -that's life. I sent an email Saturday to explain the problem and called the support line at 11 on Monday. I got "We will respond within 48 hours" when I asked if the "support" person had read the email. I asked for a service visit and was told one could not be arranged without the model number and serial number. Since I had bought it direct I figure Proform probably had a better chance to find out the model number (PFEVEX79911.0) than I did and I think a visit should be possible before you have the serial number - which it turns out is UNDERNEATH the 55kg bike.
I'm returning the item. I'm expecting to have a lot of unfriendly unreasonable behaviour on the way to getting my money back. I wish you better luck if you use them.

Very pleased with the equipment and service
The arrangements for delivery worked well and delivery was prompt. The instructions were good and assembly of the equipment proved easy. I have now used the excercise cycle twice and I am very pleased with the performance. The only slight problem was that there was no audio cable included to connect to the speakers even though this was mentioned n the instructions. When I telephoned the help-line, it was answered promptly and I readily accepted the explanation that the cable were no longer supplied but that I would be able to buy one locally. I was even told the exact specification to ask for. My local electrical shop was able to supplied for about £3.00.

Informative, fast, reliable and would recommend to everyone
Having decided that I was interested in buying a Treadmill, I looked at numerous websites to try and a find a reliable yet affordable piece of equipment. I came across Proform Treadmills advertised on another website and decided to follow up this discovery by going on to their own website. They provided every listed Treadmill in a easy to understand method and all the essential information was available. I had seen from other sources that bigger Treadmills would cost me a fortune but having came across Proform, I was pleasantly pleased to find a bigger, more robust piece of equipment that was also affordable. Delighted with my purchase. Great company to buy from and would recommend to everyone else who is considering buying a Treadmill. 5 Stars!!!

Great Heart Monitor
I purchased this wireless Heart Monitor as this links up with my Cross Trainer. I must say its very comfortable to wear and seems to have an accurate enough reading. The great thing about it is this also works with my exercise bike which is an added bonus.

Mixed messages.
The automated delivery process is probably okay when things go as planed. But following a van brake down the delivery process went to pot. The problem is it’s an automated service and when you get a voice text on a Sunday night there isn’t any one to talk to until Monday at 9am.

As a lifelong athlete, I'm after a long life of fitness and proformfitness now fits the bill.
I have to be honest, I have heard alot of horror stories about the proform tour de france bike so when I ordered it I hoped that everything would go well. I couldn't have been more pleased, everything was was delivered on time and in good condition. Set the bikeup and eveverything worked well. For an exercise bike it's the most realistic road feel I have ever had.
I have been a cyclist for over 30 years including road racing and time trialling for 20 years but I was hit by a hit and run driver 18 months ago and totally smashed my hip. Unfortunately the driver was never found. As a result of unsuccessful hip reconstruction I have had to have a total hip replacement and due to pressure from my wife worrying about me going out on my bike, I have now packed in outdoor cycling so all my cycling is done indoors on my exercise bike and that is why chose the best the proform tdf.
Unfortunately I joined ifit just as they were changing over to their new website and have been a lot of teathing problems but things are slowly been sorted out.
I love the fact I can ride anywhere all over the world providing it has Google earth. I can recreate all my old training runs and courses I used to race around.
The supplied saddle and pedals are very basic so i put on my own racing saddle and look pedals. I even ride my proform with my skinsuit on and shave my legs as it gives me that total racing cyclist feel that I have always been used to.
It's a very real road ride feel and infact very tough, probably harder than out on the roads in real life. The incline/decline is great (but you do get the odd clanking noise now and again) and the gear chainges are smooth but with a slight delay compared to a real road bike but is easy to get used to.
You can't get the h/bars as low as you would on a normal road bike as when you get out of the saddle your knees hit the bars.l tend to have the h/bars the same height of the saddle and my knees just miss the bars when out of the saddle and I am 5 ft 6inc.If you are taller you would need the bars higher than your saddle, but saying that as air resistance isn't an issue then maybe you don't need to be too low down.
So for me, why go outdoors and risk getting hit by a car again when i can do it indoors instead.
If I can't go on the roads then I will bring the roads to me.

Proform UK is not helpful
I bought a proform tredmill because of the ifit in Decathlon in Portugal. They explained everything, but said that to get the device it was a once only payment, now I see it is renewable every year...
Registered on ifit site and ordered the device to recieve an e-mail the next day telling me that it cannot be sold to me from the UK. I requested an alternative and responce was try the french site...
I made a request from USA and they do not sell to Europe.
I ordered from Amazon.com but it is going to cost me 116€ instead of 77€ and I am still waiting for the product.
Proform wants to sell worldwide but the operation is run by muppets worldwide, and if i could change the brand I would as there is better service out there. The tredmill I purchased is serving it's purpose for now as I am waiting for ifit device...

great service
Product arrived, as described and promptly. Customer services very helpful when I had a query about product before purchase of the Profrom 300 zxl exercise bike. Delighted with it after just a couple of days - solid feel, quiet - also suitable for range of heights(I'm only 5ft1" so can be a problem) and above all else much cheaper than John Lewis! (1 yr less warranty with Proform but still get 2 years).

No real complaints but room for improvement on delivery process
Order process was smooth and delivery was arranged OK and turned up as advised (inc an SMS text the previous day to advise of an AM delivery)
Delivery was a two man affair but wouldn't deliver to 2nd floor flat - this was clear when ordering but still disappointing - there is also appears to be an option to take away packaging which had I been aware of, I would have used.

excellent quality products
I took along time deciding on the which excercise bike to buy. I picked the Pro-form 300ZLX because it looked to be well constructed and strong enough to take my 280lbs and the price was about right compared to other makes, but when I looked at the features namely the ifit it was the perfect choice. when I purchase a product its not 1 feature but the overall package and Pro-form has it right in this product.
I am overweight and un-fit and need to fix both of these issue before it was to late. ifit lets me do this because it offers weight lose training which can then be replaced with performance or fitness programs which is perfect for someone whos needs will change overtime.
the delivery was good on time and with excellent customer support notifying me when the product would arrive with a 3 hour window, the delivery men where polite and helpful.
when I contacted Pro-form to find an ifit SD card retailer I foudn the Pro-form customer services and sales people polite and very helpful.
when the excercise bike arrived it takes about an hour to unpack check and assemble all the parts, the instructions seemed clear enough, it does need an extra pair of hands to assemble for ease but can be done by 1 person.
this is the first time I have dealt with this company and I will deal with them again when I purchase a treadmill.

Very speedy delivery but item expensive!
I bought the electrical adaptor for our excercise bike. I chose the item because it is manufactured by proform who manufactured the cycle. Dispatch and delivery was very speedy - within 24 hours! However, at a cost of £29 for an adaptor it is exceptionally expensive for what it is and I feel as if I haven't got value for money.

Proform 480 Elliptical Trainer: Expensive Piece of Junk
Don't even bother buying this product manufactured by this company as it is such a waste of money. I purchased this 2 years back and registered for warranty. First 6 months went well then the problems started. Console was changed 3 times as it kept on blowing up. First they told me it is the adaptor I am using and when I informed them I purchased the adaptor from them they didn't have much to say. After the third blow out they finally decided that there is a problem and send out an engineer. I had to wait for 3 months for engineer visit as the parts were not available due to a warehouse move. After the engineer visit I noticed that the right pedal cracked. I reported this fault to the company and a very rude lady from their customer support (Icon health and fitness) informed me it is my fault. I called back after couple of days to complain and one nice gentleman was kind enough to send me a replacement free of charge when the other staff member I spoke to was ready to charge me £48 for the same. I tried to fix the pedal when I realised the welding connecting the leg of the machine has come off and at this point I gave up.
Dismantled the product and dumped it in a "Ecofit" way. £480 down the drain. Please don't waste your money join a Gym or buy a better equipment which works. Please note that you need to register for extended free warrenty else you will miss out plus end up paying more for repairs which will happen for sure.
