I found a lovely apartment through pureholidayhomes.com and although some owners never replied to me those that did replied quickly and we found a great value place in our budget that allowed pets. I would recommend them and next time we go away I will check out pureholidayhomes first!
An excellent company giving great service with a bespoke portfolio of properties. The biggest oppourtunity it faces is to draw new villa users to take rentals, having a great web site is one thing, getting prople clicking on it is a differents sort of challenge. It would be good to hear about your strategey? www.lacroisee.co.uk
Pureholidayhomes.com has been very helpful in identifying properties at key locations. Only suggestion is if it give exact details and addresses of the properties that are being let out..
I was trying to get accomodation in Italy. With Pureholidayhomes I was unable to find anything for the dates that I needed, They offer Sat to Sat.I needed it to be flexible.
I requested details of availabilty and rate for the rental of a property ref 39884 on Monday 11th February and despite sending a follow up note I am still awaiting contact the details requested. I sent a note to the owners site only to be informed that the address was no longer valid.
I am left frustrated and disatisfied by my experience withyour site

Trying to find a villa in Italy last tuesday, I tried repeatedly to search for a property in Umbria. When I tried to refine the search ( 2 bedrooms, pool etc) the web site kept returning me to a general search of ALL the properties on the site. Tried time and time again to find what I was after and eventually gave up. Luckily, I tried again on Wednesday with more success. I also find the pinpoint for location of the properties a bit innaccurate, and difficult to find the exact location. However, the Villas we have found in the past have made it all worthwhile.
The site was very easy to use and had lots of information & photos. The enquiries I made were answered quickly. This is the first year I have used this site & would recommend you try it!
COMPANY CALLED OFFERING ME £1 FOR 3 MONTHS - I DID NOT RECEIVE ONE SINGLE ENQUIRY.
THEY AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED THE SUBSCRIPTION WITHOUT AN EMAIL ADVISING THEY WOULD DO SO!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND PRODUCE NO RESULTS
THEY OBTAIN MONEY BY MISLEADING PROMOTIONS AND THEN JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION
LUCKILY FOR ME THEY TOOK IT FROM A COMPANY CREDIT CARD WHICH REQUIRES A PURCHASE ORDER SO I'VE TAKEN IT UP WITH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY
Regardless of the specifics... this is a very misleading ploy which relies on people not reading their emails or remembering to cancel the pending subscription.
The larger "proper" companies who advertise holiday homes don't employ such misleading offers and promotions, why? because they don't need to. The proof of their pudding is in the eating.
Pure Holiday homes offer is just a way to tie people into a campaign with them with no success.
I would like to note that I ran more than one advert with them and did not receive a single enquiry in 3 months! not a single one! I receive 3 a day from Home away Holiday Rentals.
Speaking as a consumer I strongly recommend using one of the more reputable companies.
Yes I am going to post on as many forums as I can find as I feel that I have been cheated into paying for a service that not only is not fit for purpose but a service that I simply do not want.
A very good place for finding a holiday villa. The only slight issue is that when you make an enquiry it takes a little while to receive a response, but it's not their fault.
