Worst customer services I have dealt with. First time I purchase from this website, I ordered three goods which were about £70 and they had all said to be in stock, but I got an email back saying that one item would not be in stock, I replied stating that this is not my fault and that I need the items soon and that I am paying a good amount I should not have to wait. So they emailed me back saying I will have to pay for the delivery but argued this and they reluctantly send the two orders separate. I thought this was one off but then I went to order another 3 items worth about the same and the same thing happened again and they did not know when they would be instock and could I wait. I told them that this is second time but I did not want to wait again so they offered me another similar good but more expensive but with 10% off (saving £1), so I told them to cancel it and just send my other orders and that I would not be using their site again. They did not even reply they just sent invoice. Not once did they say sorry or anything. If they would have been nice about it I would not of cared half as much but they were plain rude.
Charged double postage to return and exchange an item which didn't fit, meaning that for an item costing £29, the postage was £14 plus the £8 it cost me to send the original item back to them. Other stores such as [link removed] offer freepost returns and don't charge postage for sending the new item. When I brought this up on the phone to them, their representative's response was "yeah but we are £10 cheaper than everyone else", sadly that isn't really relevant when I'm paying £22 postage! Will not be shopping there again, which is a real shame as their stock is excellent.
Having compared 6 alternative suppliers this was the cheapest for exactly the same product when delivery costs were taken into account. The item arrived the day after I ordered it and was exactly as I expected. Highly recommended.
Ordered Gill Grip gloves, wanted 2 different sizes which were replacement to what already had., But because website did not show colours (different colours means differenct size) ordered incorrect size. Will make do but it would help for next time to show colours!!!!
Ordered online - had a query and telephoned and all was sorted out very promptly. Order arrived next day. Good value and excellent service. Have used purple marine for various orders and always been very happy with their efficiency. Highly recommend.

I called to check on stock situation and was offered a call back which duly was made that day confirming what I wanted was available. So I used the online order service which was easy to use. And the item arrived the next day. The invoice was attached and so since this was a club purchase I can claim straight back. Nice.
I frequently recieve orders the next day, despite living on the Isle of Man. A problem with a faulty product (not Purple's fault I must add) was dealt with instantly whithout any quibbles and a replacement was despatched the same day. CAn't get better than that in my book!
I very much appreciated the phone call from Purple Marine as the Elstroms Rules Book "Rules in Practice" was out of stock. This was promptly substituted with Rules in Practice (Willis) and even arrived the next day. Fortunately we didn't have any protests at the RS200/400 Open but it was great to have it on hand!
I telephoned for stock availability and advice regarding my purchase, all of which was excellently answered.
I place my order directly after my call at around midday and it arrived the following day.
The site was the easiest marine site I had visited.
I can't ask for more.
when you want to buy something and your address is Denmark shipping costs matter, I think it is really good service that You can decide(accept or reject) to place the order after having received the shipping costs via email !
I was looking for a trailer board bracket for my boat and I got excellent advice. After the purchase I was kept informaed of the status of the order, dispatch and delivery dates/times. Really pleased with the whole experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more purchases. Keep up the good work!
I have used Purple several times and ever time the goods arrive very quickly. This last time there was a slight delay as the item was not in stock but they sent me a mail advising me when it would be shipped and then the item arrived early anyway. Good prices and good service
Easy ordering process. Goods delivered abroad in about a week which is excellent. Company would have had 5 stars had they followed up on my ordering. I should have received an email advising of delivery charges. Instead I had to chase on this but then the answer with delivery costs came back very quickly. Will definitely order again from them.
