My first time using Quidco and I normally use [Link], but Quidco had an offer of £100 cashback on EE broadband.
My EE took around 3 months to track, which I have no problem with as this was explained to me.
Once it was tracked I was given a date in June as the estimated payment date. This was explained that due to previous payments by EE this was the date they could base this estimate on. This again I had no problem.
The date in June passed, no payment so the date changed to the 1st July, then it changed daily to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and finally the ninth. I messaged them 3 times during these days and was just told this was the estimated dates, but I wanted to know why the date kept changing.
Then the confirmed amount of £100 changed to £95. I again messaged them and was told that this was weird and probably just a "retainer" fee, what? When was this mentioned to me, if the amount offered to me is not £100, then don't offer me £100, surely false advertising.
I have read on the website that they do a payment run every Thursday. So far 2 Thursdays have passed and no payment. I have tried to use the support section of the website and it says I don't have any payments confirmed when I do.
As of today I have sent my 6th message to them in the hope of a break through. I will be going back to [Link], in all the time I've used them I have never had to message them once.
Believe me Quidco have done everything wrong with this transaction that they could of done. Please take my review as a warning.
I see by the below message that the retention fee was outlined when I joined Quidco. No I joined before this fee came into effect, that's right, that's how long I've been waiting. Keep the £5, use it towards customer service.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The £5 retention fee was outlined to you when you joined the site. You do have the option of downgrading if you'd like, just drop us a message and we'll see what we can do :-)
