Recently ordered some jewellery, when it arrived the necklace clasp was faulty so naturally I returned the item expecting the delivery charge to be refunded so I could re-order as they don't offer exchanges online. I was refunded the charge of the item BUT not the delivery charge. When I rang to enquire I easy old the item was found not to be faulty! Effectively they are saying I'm a liar?! Shame because I actually liked the necklace and was prepared to reorder but I refuse to have to pay the delivery charge again. Nice clothes but poor customer service!
Spent £150 in quiz on 2 dresses for a wedding, made up my mind on which one I wanted to wear and tried to take the other back, I was told they wouldn't take it back as it smelt heavily of smoke. This is absolutely ridiculous as I am a non smoker and don't allow anyone to smoke in my house, this dress has been sat in the bag in my bedroom since the day I bought it. So I am £75 down with a dress I am never going to wear, customer service was absolutely disgusting, will never shop here again!!
I would not purchase from Quiz clothing again, they are an awful retailer. On buying my first ever item from them in their Westfield London (Stratford store) and waiting by the till for ages with no service, I found the purchase was completely unsuitable when I got home to try it on. Their returns policy is two weeks for a refund which I planned to do until work sent me away! I immediately telephoned the store and spoke to the manager (Nicky) to tell her my situation and to let her know that on the very day I return back to London I could rush into the store to return the item. The only problem was that this was ONE day after the two week period. Nicky was extremely stubborn and unhelpful and had no customer service skills whatsoever so I was left with no option but to try and contact head office. There is no direct contact details for head office and I soon discovered that their system for sorting out problems or complaints is useless. I called the web team who told me they could only send emails to the area manager and that hopefully I would hear from the area manager in a few days. This did not happen so I had to call back. The guy I spoke to was helpful but was restricted to this ridiculous email policy so his hands were tied. He did attempt to call the area manager for me after he was concerned that my query had not been dealt with but the area manager refuses to speak to the customer directly ( I cannot therefore guarantee that an area manager had been spoken to I guess). The eventual response was that it is the store managers discretion as to whether a refund would be issued and as we know Nicky was not going to budge and be helpful in any way.
This retailer has a bizarre set up, with no power from a head office and all queries directed to an area manager who you cannot speak to. I always thought an area manager's position involved overseeing stores not having to also handle queries and complaints. I am now left with an item I cannot wear and I will never return to this store again now that I know how difficult they are.
Ordered dress online in sale for Ascot, turned up 2 days later including free delivery with a vouchercode and was much better quality than expected. Everyone ive shown it to loves it. Would definitely use again.
I purchased a Stone Batwing Tiger Print Top Size: M/l Item no: 1301017667 1 £24.99 From Quiz Clothing for my Daughter who is in her 30s she wore it twice and i washed it once, Following strictly the recommendations on the lable, on taking it out of the Miele washing M/c there was an hole about 28mm in the front of the garment, I sent it back to Quizclothing and it was returned back to me and Quizclothing stating that it was wear and tear,and would not refund or replace it. What a Joke 6 Weeks old... The return of damaged good states. One of your principal statutory rights is the expectation that the item will be of reasonable quality. This also includes fitness for purpose specified, appearance and finish, freedom from minor blemishes, safety and durability. The failure of the product to meet any one of these criteria is a breach in your statutory rights, enabling you to go back to the retailer, even after some months of use. After having dealt with Quiz, and an employee called Adil on many occasions, I am left furious and extremely unhappy with this company.
1. The delivery time to my country is stated as 3-5 working days on their website. The parcel turned up 6 days after despatch! It was therefore late. Adil, nor any other employees at Quiz refused to aknowledge that it was late! 2. Received my £60 dress, which was made of poor quality, was not at all as expected from the image on the website. 3. Paid £7.50 to return the item, and Customer Service (Adil) refuses to refund my return charged based on the 1st two points. Still refuses to acknowledge delay of delivery.
In general, very poor Customer Service (I work in Customer Service myself!).
I've spent way too much time emailing back and forward. A very angry customer that is out of pocket.
I bought a dress in my nearest branch but that is two hour round trip from my home.I didn't notice until I got home that the dress had some missing studs on it. Customer Services advised me to contact the store in Yeovil where Clare was most helpful. I posted the dress back to the store and she has refunded it back to my credit card.All the staff in the Yeovil branch were most helpful and pleasant on the day I purchased .I wish there was a branch of Quiz nearer to my home town in Somerset ,as they have some lovely clothes that are a little different.
