I've made an order over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received my order while they still have it in them to take out the money from my card. I've emailed their customer care several times with no response. Seeing that this is a usual thing that they do, I would like to write this review to make anyone using this website aware that they are thieves and do not do as promised.
Bought a dress that was £49, free delivery if you spend over £50 so paid postage also.The next day after my purchase the dress had £20 taken off its price!! I looked in the 'My Order' section and my purchase was not there even though the money was taken out my account. I emailed about this and actually asked if I could cancel my order anyway as it had not been processed as I had seen the dress on a blog and wasn't as nice as I expected.
The dress did arrive but I sent it back the same day, however as my order was not in the 'my order section' I could not properly fill out the returns section. I returned it out the best I could and 2 months later I have not received my return. I also posted it first class recorded delivery which cost another £5 so I know they have received it.
I have sent about 8 emails over the months with absolutely no response at all. The service is shocking. I am out £60 with no dress or the chance to get my money back as they just don't get back to you!!!
Terrible service, I should have looked up the company before bothering to buy from them. I ordered a dress on Dec 18., intending to give it to my friend at uni as a late Xmas gift. I received an email from the company after I made my order that had a confirmation, but never received a shipping confirmation. After contacting customer service twice within the past two weeks, I got nothing, so I opened a dispute on PayPal. I just received an email about my refund after the dispute was opened, but I think I'll keep it open until I get the money back into my account, lest I end up like the reviewer below.
While my experience wasn't as bad as a lot of other reviewers, I would assert that no online retailer should treat customers like this at all. My experience is just further support to the fact that this company is a complete and total scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

The trick to shopping with Rare London is to know that it will take generally around 5-6 working days for your items to arrive, so don't order if you have an event coming up in the next few days in which you want to wear these clothes. The shipping isn't the greatest but it has never taken more than the stated 5-6 working days and has always arrived in excellent condition. The next trick is to shop the sale. They always have an amazing sale and most items are around £7-£10, marked down from around £50! Genuine bargains and lovely quality clothes. Even with sale items as little as £5 most times they have extra discount codes specifically designed for the sale. The codes are normally to knock 20 or 30% off each item. Postage is a little steep at £3.95 but when you consider they have to pack and then send these items via courier you can hardly complain. They are always sent perfectly wrapped and in an excellent condition. The courier drives to your house, knocks and waits for a signature so Rare London know you have received your parcel. If you spend £50 plus then you get free delivery anyway, which may sound a lot but if you are on a shopping spree (which I normally am when I shop the sale), then you can easily spend over that amount. My last shop at Rare came to £52 and I got 8 items of clothing! All good quality pieces from brands such as Coco's fortune and Thirty four disciples. I have ordered from Rare six times and it has always been a pleasant experience. The clothes arrive the next week in immaculate condition and the clothing itself is always of the highest quality!
Every time i make a purchase with this company there is a problem!!!!!! They've sent my items with holes covered up with security tags....Items suppposed to be new with tags turn up with NO tags! there is always an item out of stock.... and when you are really looking forward to receiving something like a rare opulence ballerina dress they send you a shoddy side train dress NOT what i ordered and contacting them by telephone is terrible!!!!!!!!!! not only that they don't send you a returns sticker .....i have to pay my own returns cost and wait 28 days for a refund!!!! avoid if you don't want to be disappointed because i'm disappointed in every transaction i make
I ordered a dress from them for a wedding. When I noticed a week later it still had not been sent contrary to what they advertise, I contacted them to refund me and cancel the order since it would not be received in time. They sent me an email telling me they have refunded me and canceled the order. I kept checking and checking but no refund was ever sent through paypal. Then I received a message from them a couple weeks later that they sent the dress. The wedding had already passed. When the dress arrived, it was the wrong dress to top it off!!! I sent the dress back. They state they never received the dress. Now they have the dress and my money and won't do anything about it. This is a scam company, stay away!! I am also out the money to cost me to send it to England from the US. They have my money, the dress, and they cost me money to send it back, let alone the frustration this has caused me. They are very shady people, watch out!!!
I just received a bunch of dresses that i had ordered in perfect condition- i was worried looking at some of the previous reviews but had nothing to worry at all. The parcel arrived in perfect condition and took six working days to reach me. The customer service advisor (Laura) was also very helpful and she emailed back answering my query in less than 24 hrs. The reason you don't get a tracking number is if you have done an express checkout - so i would recommend you register to the site in the future and i will be doing the same! Tip- I would recommend you buy a size small as their sizes seem a bit big but haven't said that i haven't tried the dresses yet! So if you are an 8-10 then you can get an 8!
I made an order on monday, no notification, no tracking number nothing just an email from paypal that rare had taken the money. After wait 5 days and no clothes I searched and found this site, therefore decided to email them and immediately received this response:

I've ordered an Opulence Ruched Sequin Sash Dresss that was on sale, 50 GBP instead of 165 GBP!!! I received a notification that the dress was shipped but never got any tracking number. Waited for a whole month and then started to try and contact the customer service so they would give me a tracking number for the shipment.Wrote them for three times but never received any response. Interesting thing was that when I've decided to open a case in Pay Pal I was immediately refunded my money without any explanation and they have charged me for a refund/return fee,when I didn't even receive the item and never get any response from their customer service regarding my order and its refund.This is the most outrageous service I've ever received from an online fashion store.Even missguided.co.uk store was more cooperative than this one.I won't be coming back.It was my first experience with that store and I guess my last too.
Not even worth a star!! I returned an item of clothing over a month ago and did not hear back from them until last week where I was told that I could not be refunded using my debit card and instead I could have it refunded by paypal had I given them the necessary details. I did that right away and still have not heard back after sending 2 more emails and 2 messages on their website. Never buy from them!!!!
I ordered a dress in a size 8 and paid for next day delivery which cost me £5 something, the dress arrived but it was a size 6 not 8 this was very infuriating. So I returned the item (with great difficulty due to the rubbish website and having to set up a 'returns case' and then having to get a RMA Number which they don't give you, you have to find it for yourself, then you have to request a return!! - which is abit cheeky because you should be able to return anything within 28 says of purchase without having to ask permission - especially in my case where I am returning an item due to their wrong doing) They have finally sent me a message to say they will refund me for the money, now I am left chasing them for the postage I paid!
i ordered some items on sale on rare fashion website, having seen some of their designs in house of fraser, that convinced me they were a credible company. up until now, i have not received any e-mail from them to confirm my order yet they have deducted money from my account. I have written them severally, they have not had the decency to respond to any of my email. I tried to find their contact no on their site, unfortunately they have not deemed it fit to provide thier customers with any number.
I need to know what next to do, i am really disappointed and would never recommend any one to patronise this dodgy company. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS SORT OF SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!
Ordered a jacket, jumper and dress on Monday night, and it has just arrived this morning (Wednesday 8.30am)! Received an email yesterday telling me that it would arrive today, and then another email this morning saying it would be here between 8.30-9.30, and then it arrived 8.30am on the dot, couldn't have asked for more from free next day delivery! Both the jacket and the jumper look even better than they did on the site, and the dress is fab too. Overall very happy!
I just received my dress from Rare. I have zero complaints from their customer service - I was worried about my tracking code, so I used their contact form. They e-mailed me back right away and everything went well. I got my order in a few days, which was impressive considering I live in Greece. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, though I must say the quality of the dress itself wasn't the best. The belt that came with it looks kind of cheap, but I'll replace it with a better one. I really think you can get something of higher quality with the same money.
Not happy having ordered a dress last week and recieved the confirmation email an payment has been taken. However since then I can't log in and have not had tracking numbers sent as promised. It's most unsettling although on the plus side they have returned emails unhelpful as they were
I haven't actually bought anything from rarefashion so can't talk about delivery times, but I was thinking of buying a dress from them so read reviews on this website before making my decision. Having found a number of negative reviews, I decided to email customer service to voice my concern and asked for a phone number to make me feel more comfortable with my purchase; this was on a Sunday night, and I received a very swift reply by Monday afternoon. Their email was very polite, well-written and thoroughly reassuring, and I was provided with all the information I asked for including a phone number (which was definitely valid, I rang it to check). In all I am very impressed with Rarefashion's customer service, though as I have said I cannot comment on their dispatch/ delivery timing or other issues people have mentioned as I haven't actually made any purchases through their website. My only problem is that I think they should advertise a phone number to reassure customers, but based on their very quick email reply it seems it's not as necessary as with other retailers.
I placed an order two weeks ago, and received only one item from my order, meaning that two were not included. I emailed them four times, and have not received a single reply. Their call centre is only open during office hours, when I am working, so am having trouble getting through on the phone. I wouldn't order from them again because this service has been so bad. I have ordered from several internet sites and never had any items go missing, but it seems that this is quite common with Rare, having looked at the other comments.
