Every order as good as the first!
Some say you only have one time to make a good first impression, but to make that impression last, one must give that quality time and time again. I know that saying usually applies to people, but I feel it should also apply to how businesses treat their customers. RCplanet is a business that knows how to treat its customers because I'm writing this 5-star review after ordering through them multiple times. I started getting into the hobby of R/C-ing last year during the summer. I used google to find a r/c car kit I wanted (Tamiya TT-01D R34 Skyline fyi) and rcplanet.com showed up as the one with the lowest price shipped. Of course I needed some paint to go along with my new toy. They carried a particular paint at the time that I fell in love with called Spaz Stix (# 05209 midnight purple 3) and I emailed them to see how many they spray cans they had in stock because I knew I would want all my future r/c cars the same color. The customer rep, Todd (awesome guy btw), emailed me back saying that they had three in stock and a couple on order. He then told me to order as many as I wanted and he'll ship out the rest when he gets them in stock FOR FREE. Now that was a great first impression...
Recently, I made another purchase through RCplanet and I literally emailed them every single day about a new item I was interested in. Todd, always answered my emails quickly and in a professionally manner even when it comes to expressing his opinion about a particular item. I definitely felt like I was treated just as good as the first time I shopped with them.
Let's break down the store to the important stuff:
• Price: 10/10 - This website beats all other r/c websites prices by a pretty hefty margin. Search, compare, then come back to shop at RCplanet like I did
•Customer service: 10/10 - World class service
•Shipping Time: 10/10 - I usually receive all my orders within less than five business days

Extremely poor customer service and shipping. I placed an order on Monday for items listed as in stock. I selected 3-day shipping so that I would hopefully get the order by Friday. On Tuesday I got a message stating the order wouldn't ship until Thursday (4 days to ship), meaning it wouldn't arrive until the following week. While this was inconvenient, I was willing to accept the delay. On the date the package was to arrive I checked the tracking information and found that the shipment had been returned to sender (UPS wouldn't put the batteries on a plane?). I contacted the seller and was told they were reshipping. I asked for a refund of the money I paid for 3-day delivery and got no response. So, it is now 10 days after the order was placed and the items have still not been delivered and I paid $15 for 3-day shipping.

Horrible customer service at RCPlanet
After a few weeks of waiting for a kit I ask their customer-service for a tracking-number so I could see where it is.
But they couldn't send me a number because the kit was not even sent out. Two weeks before, they told me "We are processing it now and should be shipping late today or first thing tomorrow", which was obviously not true. After four weeks of waiting, I didn't receive my order yet...
They really don't care about their customers, so I wouldn't recommend RCPlanet at all. :-(
