Great communications and item delivered quickly and securely. Further communications received via text on the delivery date, siting delivery within a 60min window. Item arrived 30mins into the hour specified. One of best organised deliveries I have ever received.

Red Dog is the biz!!
I recently bought a keyboard from Red Dog over the phone for my son, said son having chosen what he wanted from the Edinburgh shop. Given that I live in a different part of the country payment could have been tricky even with a credit card - security etc but the staff were REALLY helpful on all levels and am extremely happy with the cheery, courteous helpful service.
A plus. of course, is that muso son LOVES the keyboard! Win win all round. Bravo Red Dog. They made me wish I was working with them... impressed

Exactly as described
This guitar was bought for my sons birthday. He chose it himself and we ordered it. It arrived within two days, well packaged. Thanks Red Dog, I have a very happy boy.

Got the kit I wanted at the best price on the web! Full marks to Red Dog!
I searched the web for a Samson 500w PA system. The prices on offer ranged from £600 upwards (plus delivery) but Red Dog had a demo system for less than £500 including delivery. I enquired and they gave me a detailed description, including a little almost invisible scratch ( I scratched more than that myself on my first gig) and offered me a year's warranty. It sounded like a good deal so I agreed. The kit showed up 2 days later. I've gigged it already and it does the job brilliantly. Full marks to Red Dog!

Fabulous, great to talk to on phone, easy web order process and really fast delivery with great comms.
Red Dog Music were offering the same discounted price as loads of stores that actually had no stock of the brand new Roland PD4KP. I rang to check as did not want to get stuck with an order with delivery sometime never, the folks on the phone were really really friendly and helpful called hteir distribution centre to check stock level. The delivery company they use (Interlink I think) have a brilliant text service that really keeps you informed what is happening and when, I elected for next day delivery and it cost the grand total of £6, 3 day delivery was free .
Really great company and I'd recommend them to anyone based on this experience.

Great product, great price, poor delivery
One of the reasons i picked Red Dog was because they would deliver next day. I understand it was the Christmas period with various bank holidays, but I was initially informed that my speakers would be delivered on Wednesday, only to call up Wednesday evening, and be told they were still about 300 miles away, and they guy on the other end of the phone was staring straight at them. Had I been told about this before having to ring up myself, I wouldn't have been as fussed since I didn't have to pay for delivery, however it did mean I was at home waiting for them on the Wednessay when they werent a tully delivered until the Friday. Otherwise the price was great and the pruduct was in perfect condition.

excellent speedy thoughtful service
Communication with the shop was perfect - couldn't have been better - I was aware of all the stages of the order. The guitar itself is as expected and no problems. I would suggest that in future the shop set them up before sending out to customers ( if you are not able to adjust a truss rod etc. then the guitar would not be very playable as it arrived for beginners etc.- It only takes half hour to set it up. ) This is only a minor niggle and not a problem. Overall - excellent service. I would recommend the shop highly.

Great advice & service.
Order arrived well packaged and within a few days. Sound advice given at time of purchase regarding appropriateness of products under consideration. One gripe is that I hated having to pay an extra 30 quid for delivery to our postcode.
Having said that I would definitely use Red Dog again.

Courteous Service, Cheapest Prices, Free Next Day Delivery...Absolutely Fabulous & Reliable!
I phoned up to enquire about delivery and was told the software would be dispatched the same day in the afternoon if I ordered then (it was around mid-day). However, delivery couldn't be guaranteed the next day due to the busy Christmas period. It was Thursday (20th December). The parcel was delivered the following day (Friday, 21st Dec) at mid-day. I was kept informed by e-mail & sms every step of the delivery process including the one hour period when the parcel would be delivered to my door.
A very prompt, courteous service and certainly one Company I'd use again. The prices were very competitive, free prompt delivery and goods arrived as promised. Overall Excellent. I couldn 't ask for more! Thank you :)

Not good red dog
As a red dog customer I was not best pleased when I bought a guitar and amp off their website and when opened the guitar was dirty and had minor marks and scratches on the volume button, then after unpacking everything realised it was missing the cable to plug the guitar in the amp. Got a new cable no problem from store but still quite poor overall.

Found exactly what I was after on their easy to use website. The price was really competitive and included free delivery which was very appealing. The pog bass peddle I ordered arrived a lot faster than I expected and I was kept informed of the progress with emails. Having details to allow me to track it was great especially as I wanted it in time for christmas. It arrived safely wrapped and within the hour delivery time quoted. Having the option to instruct it to be left with a neighbour was great as well as the option to change the delivery date. All in all, a fantastic service which I will definitely use again!

Excellent trustworthy retailer!!
I was looking online for a Savannah SB060 banjo for my father. Red Dog came up in the search. I thought the ad was a bit dubious, as they were selling it at around £50 cheaper than anyone else and with free delivery. I decided it was worth the risk.
I placed the order on Sat 1st Dec at around 2pm. I received a series of messages in the form of emails and texts at every stage of the process, including 1 from the courier company on the allocated day of delivery (4th Dec), with 1 hour delivery window. Banjo arrived 10 minutes before deadline, double boxed and as advertised.
To be honest; I was actually relieved that it arrived at all, but having now experienced Red Dogs service, I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Ordered a guitar for OH and it arrived very promptly. It was very well packed and in perfect condition. Will have to wait to see what it sounds like after Christmas, and even then it might not be down to the guitar!

I wish all Internet companies were like this
My first connection with Red Dog Music was when I submitted a question about setting up the guitar before dispatch. I asked the question over the net about 9:30 PM and I had a reply waiting for me when I opened my email first thing the next day. I placed my order over the Internet at 6:30 PM. By mid-morning the next day I had an email from Red Dog telling me that my order was ready to be dispatched. Thereafter I kept getting updates from them until I heard my guitar was on its way i.e. within hours of placing the order. These are examples of just how good their communication with the customer is. If only other Internet companies did the same.
It gets better. The courier company they use also keeps the customer updated and gives a one hour time band for delivery.
As if this wasn't enough the guitar I ordered has a recommended retail price of £199 and they were selling it for £129.
By the way the guitar is a LAG Tramonte and I am delighted with it. Great value for money.
Altogether a great purchasing experience.

One of my best shopping experiences, with a great product at a competative price, free postage, delivered within the hour timeslot given - highly recommend.
I saw the amplifier I was after on the website with free delivery, ordered it mid-afternoon and within an hour was told that the parce was ready for dispatch and would be delivered the folowing day - what was really great was the estimated delivery time was a one hour time-slot with tracking facility. I was a bit dubious, as we live rurally and courier deliveries are rarely as quoted. I was delighted when It arrived when specified and well packaged. It is a fabby amp. My daughter will be delighted with her Christmas pressie.

Problem with order, sorted out in a heartbeat
I received my order and unfortunately it was the wrong item. I rang the shop and asked them if they could send out the correct item before the weekend. The assistant was extremely helpful and managed to get the order sorted and sent out in good time. Couldn't have asked for more!

Would definitely buy from Red Dog again.
I had some problems with my debit card when I tried to snap up a real B stock bargain, but a guy, I think his name was Andy, was really helpful and patient with me and reserved it for me while I got the card problem sorted. The B stock item was a Roland Cube 120XL which was despatched and delivered promptly and it's brilliant. Not sure why it was B stock, it looks brand new. I would definitely buy from Red Dog again, and recommend to others.
