Fast delivery, good communication and super product!
After having difficulty getting the amplifier from other companies, I used Red Dog Music and was really impressed with the speed of the transaction/delivery. Accurate tracking info & delivery estimates meant I wasn't waiting around all day. More importantly, the product lives up to (and beyond) expectations. This battery amp is perfect for street performers (especially vocals+guitar) and for this price, I don't think you could get any better. You guys saved my band's busking tour!

After visits to the shop for expert opinion, helpful email correspondence and placing an order online for an irresistibly good price, the fantastic Roland gear I bought was tracked and delivered safely and quickly. Backup support and after-sales service are also very good and this is THE place for music gear. And I don't even live in Edinburgh

RED DOG IS THE PLACE TO SHOP ABSOLUTELY DRUMTASTIC!
Having decided on what product we wanted I found that after looking on the net that Red dog had the best price. After calling the store I found the staff to be very friendly and reassuringly helpfull.Due to the purchase being quite substantial and long distance we were quite nervous. However the Red Dog team were all very proffessional and helpfull,so feeling trully at ease we went ahead with purchase, and found that comunication was 10/10 and was kept informed on the packing and shipping of our purchase.
When the product arrived the very next day (with Free Shipping I might add) It was extreemly well packaged . Once opened and inspected I was more than happy and could not be more gratefull with the service we received. Would recomend Red dog any day !!!

Best guitar ever straight out of the box.
Bought the Mike Campbell Duesenberg Starplayer TV LTD off these guys last Thursday about 11:00 and the guitar and case arrived perfectly packaged in less than 24 hours with no courier charge. I asked the shop if they set the guitar up and was told they came set from the factory,which is the only time I've ever found this to be true!Of all the guitars tried,bought and owned this is one of the best.Superb service,price and great staff.I'll buy from these guys again without hesitation.

Outstanding service
Ordered a Diago gigman pedalboard. Just wanted the cheapest price I could find as I was in no hurry and it only a pedal board after all. Not only was this the best price but the service...... Ordered at luchtime. Got text and email later saying delivery was going to be the next day. Got text and email next morning saying delivery would be between 8.55 and 9.55 - arrived at 9.00am.

Roland piano
We had a hard time deciding on which digital piano to buy. We figured roland was too expensive but found a company who let us down on delivery. Thankfully red dog had a great price and did not fail to deliver our piano on time and hassle free. I would recommend them.

Very friendly and easy to deal with
As the title states, found buying from RedDog a pleasure. Spoke to them about some concerns over a Marsall mini amp and they were great in terms of response and handling the issue. Have since bought a fender mini from them for my son and it was delivered without issue in only a couple of days, well packed and another good experience.

I bought a piece of B stock and I emailed Red Dog twice to ask questions about it. The answers were prompt, personal and honest. I ordered the item (a Fender bass amp) and it arrived two days later, expertly packed, within in the two-hour window they had promised.

Can't put in words how impressed and delighted I am......
The service was utterly fantastic.
The website is easy to navigate, and there's plenty on offer - including some great sale items. This was followed by a courtesy call from Dave, who was very helpful - he talked me through the item to ensure that I was completely happy with my purchase prior to delivery. Delivery was fast and free - from Edinburgh to the Midlands - who could ask for more?!!
I am absolutely over the moon with the experience and with my purchase.

Fantastic team of "Red Dog" in Edinburgh !
I've already bought Nord piano 2 in Red Dog Edinburgh.
I was testing for many months few stage pianos. Decision was very difficult for me and I visited Red Dog store in Edinburgh very often to play instruments.
Instruments were always available and staff was very kind and helpful. I felt very comfortable being there.
I am grateful to you for sharing your instruments and I am sure that I'll visit your store in the nearest future, to buy a mixer and active studio monitors.

Red dog had the admira diana guitar for 30 pound cheaper than anywhere else with a free delivery. Came in two days with the exact hour to be delivered emailed to me before. Perfect service.

Red Dog dual guitar stand
Nice solid stand. Saves space and good if you are taking only 2 guitars out! Had to adjust the rear posts to accommodate a wider bodied guitar. Pretty stable with two guitars on it.

I recently bought a Fender Mustang Special from Red Dog Music online after seeing it on their website for a more than fair price. I emailed the store for thicker strings to be put on, all done without charge! Best of all, despite making the order after 2pm, the guitar still arrived next day perfectly set up. Emails were friendly and helpful, not always the case with online music stores. Genuinely the easiest experience I've had purchasing music equipment online, especially seeing as it was from Scotland to central England. 5 stars.

the best service i have ever had
i bought a new vox vt20+ online it was deliverd next-day i set it up,unfortunately it was faulty I phone reddog at 10am next morning and with a hour they phoned me back they had arranged the pickup and a replacement and thats what i call first class service.

Great help and advice in the shop but couriers very poor
Went into the shop for advice on a new amp and had half an hour of high quality advice and demonstration. Really helped me make up my mind. Phoned to order a few days later and slightly put out to be directed to the website to order. Dealing with people is preferable to machines where it is still possible. Amp arrived in good time a couple of days later but whatever courier Red Dog use should be sacked as they left an expensive valve amp in a cardboard box out in the pouring rain. No contact, nobody asked to sign, they didn't even think to contact a neighbour or put the package in the garage or a shed as every other courier does. Fortunately no damage but this is the height of irresponsibility and common amongst poor quality couriers. they just don't care. Red Dog are fine but they need to sort their deliveries.

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to write a review - it's really appreciated. To address your issues:
1. We have been forced to process higher value delivery orders on-line rather than over the phone due to a high amount of fraud on phone orders - on-line orders have extra security steps that make them safer for us (and the card holder). However, I realise that's a pain in the neck! As such we are looking into ways of securely processing phone transactions.
2. We have used several couriers over the years and have generally found Interlink to be the most reliable, but leaving a box out in the rain where it can get wet (or stolen) is clearly not acceptable behaviour - we have in the past informed them never to leave parcels anywhere other than with the consignee, so we will take this up with them.
Thanks again for your response, and hopefully the issues you brought up can be resolved ongoing for you and future customers.

Exactly what I wanted, delivered exactly when they said it would be.
Would use them as a first port of call for musical equipment in future. Fulfilled order at an excellent price and didn't, as has happened in the past with other suppliers, take the money, promised delivery and then let me know later that they didn't actually have what I wanted in stock - but had ordered it!

Excellent store...
I purchased a Guitar from RedDog's Edinburgh store.
After finding the specific Guitar I was after,I called up there store rather than just ordering online.I received courteous & helpful advice from there informative staff.
I was also given a discount on my purchase as there was a the tiniest minute flaw to the Guitar I wanted. This flaw was pointed out to me before any deal was made,so I can personally vouch for there honesty. The guitar also arrived the next day,which is another plus.
In summary...A pleasure to do business with. I would have no issue from buying from RedDog in future & would be one of the first places I would check out.
