I came to Regency Chess after being very dissapointed by the, so called, leading company for chess sets (bearing my name coincidentely) I bought an ebony chess set with box and board and have been very very pleased both with the quality and value. This is a genuine heirloom set and I would not hesitate in revisiting Regency Chess for other products.
I also have to say that delivery to France was exceptionally fast, professionally packaged and fairly priced unlike other companies where I have been quoted 5 times the going rate for delivery!!!!

Great quality and fast well protected delivery
Well I was afraid the product endings or wood quality would not be as good since it's online purchase but the set came from UK to Danmark in mint-mint unspoiled conditions, with a very decent dispatch-to-delivery timing and all nicely packed and protected. Totally recommend it! Ah also the site is very easy to navigate against other chess set stores that make it hard to see good pictures and nice/clean descriptions. Cheers!

Good quality set for reasonable price
Backgammon set bought as birthday gift for my husband and he was very pleased with it. Well made, good sized set with quality appearance; easy to pack away and carry in its own wooden case. Does what it says on the jar! Excellent, quick service and arrived well packed in bubble wrap etc. Highly recommended.

You only really get to understand the true quality of a company when things don't go quite to plan.
I received an Elite chess set extremely promptly after ordering on standard delivery. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the craftsmenship in the chess pieces and the board. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by poor finishing of elements in the rosewood box. I emailed customer services and received a prompt reply asking how I would like to proceed. A 'no qubble' replacement defect free box was sent straight away and I am delighted by the set I now have. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I've dealt with The Regency Chess Company on two occasions.
First time: I purchased an inlaid chess board, only to realize that
it was too small for a unique chess set I was purchasing from another source. I phoned Regency and my problem was quickly resolved: my original order was cancelled and my credit card immediately refunded.
Second time: I purchased the SAC mini Lewis chess set with inlaid board. Not only is Regency charging the lowest price available online for these items online , but I was able to use a promotional code that considerably reduced delivery cost. The package arrived two working days later, in perfect condition, with a two year warranty from Regency. I had extensively researched this set online; some folks who purchased it from other dealers complained that pieces arrived chipped because they had been poorly packed. Not only were the pieces in a well-constructed, felt-lined presentation box, but the accompanying wooden board
was swathed in bubble wrap and protective corners. Well done,
Regency. I am delighted with the chess set and with your service.

Prompt delivery even with "standard delivery" option, goods well packaged and very well protected with lots of bubble-wrap. Courier service required signature so goods could not be left at a designated place if no-one at home at point of delivery (e.g. leave in garage if out), but calling card left with clear instructions for delivery for another day of choice, and goods were indeed delivered by courier on that chosen day. Chess pieces as descibed and good quality, board also good quality, seemed awfully large but the size of squares had to be large enough to accomodate piece sizes. Given as a gift, recipient over the moon with this chess set. Would recommend Regency Chess Co, would use again.

I liked the description (all technical details, diameters, weghts, lengts), the pictures. For my project they were very useful. The shipping was very fast. I think it was not clear for me the price for shipping from the begining, and finally it was not the chipeast shipping price ever :) , but I was very satisfied overall, and the chess set is really beautiful :)
