When received back, the glasses were as I expected. True to prescription and as ordered. However, having been told that they would take 7-10 days, I was surprised that it took 19 days for the glasses to drop through my letterbox. Perhaps it would be better to state the true delivery time rather than a shorter one that can't be met!!

We have been quoting approximately 10 working days with all single vision lenses, and the reason we say approximately, is that there sometimes can be reasons why certain reglazes take longer than others. In most cases people get their glasses back about 5 or 6 working days after payment, but others, as in was your case, took more like 10.
There can be a number of reasons why a one job takes longer than another, for example we want to do the reglaze again, because something has been spotted in quality control, or we have had to wait for delivery of specific new nose pads to match the frame.
However given recent feedback we are going to change the way we advise turnaround times. We are going to stop quoting "working" days, and just give the total amount of weeks it can take. I think this way customers will have clearer indication of how long the process can be.
