Rail Travel problems for trains going North out of Euston on eve of 7 Jan forced an unscheduled overnight in London. How convenient to have Regus Business Lounge (London Kings Cross) just across the road from Euston. That way I had a convenient, secure, private place (with WiFi) to work in the following day while I waited for a train. In particular the welcome provided by the staff was positive and helpful. The only slight comment was the lounge was also a corridor to the more formal private offices, so at times less considerate customers' conversations could be a distraction.
I am a business lounge user (gold card) living and working in London and Regus offers a very wide choice of locations, allowing me to save the money on a permanent office in the critical initial start up period. My understanding though is that as office/virtual provider the contract terms are quite unflexible and long term.
best thing i own is the regus gold card, obtained through CIPS membership. I use them as much as i can espically when traveling as they can be found in service areas. Its nearly as important as my phone.
I only started using Regus in desperation one day when urgently needed office and internet to deal with urgent problem that had arisen. Facilities were clean, warm, tidy, staff were helpful, internet was fast!
Regus is a fantastic idea for individuals who are starting up a business and cannot afford their own building. You can shop till you drop as the list of services is never ending. The one stop Dynamic host of your office experience at the blink of an eye. Do you want to know more?..... ASK Lewis, he is the wonder boy at Victoria square. Plan your budget, test the water and dive into a whirlpool of office extravaganza. The concept is fantastic if you get a Lewis its plain sailing At the end of the day you can have the best intentions in the world but if the staff cant match rhe written service or hire a Lewis its all over. Regus has got their Lewis backup,
I started my own coaching business earlier in the year, just a couple of clients, nothing big. A couple of times a month I need an office where I can take phone calls, chat on Skype, that kind of thing.
I had a Regus gold card through my bank... but had never thought I would use it. Then when I did need to, I found it was so easy to book a private office - they've always been really well appointed - but above all the people who welcome me to the two different Regus centres I use have been so helpful, friendly and all round amazing.
Turned out to be just what I needed to make my small business happen. Thank you guys!
If you are looking to hire a room for the day (or half-day) you should certainly consider Regus. Each time I've used their rooms (on about six occasions and four different locations) I've had excellent service. The price per day is comparable to booking a room in a reasonable hotel but the serice is better geared to the occasional business user. Also the rooms are tailor-made for meetings/interviews. There is a great choice of sites and booking on-line or by 'phone is very easy.
My experience with Regius has been mixed. The business facilities are great, the issue is the systems in place, particularly with the accunts department.
My situation was nfotunate, I was unable to settle the account asap as planned because of regis' own operational fault. Communication with the accounts department is one way, that is from them to the customer. They completely fail to acknowledge, listen to or understand your own communication back to them, its like trying to talk to a robot that programmed to spout "computer says no". On that basis I won't bother using their services again.
Availability of accommodation within different regions of Manchester useful, Greeted by friendly and helpful receptionists. Limited space within the general business area, but sufficient to be able to work and access the internet. Seating and general ambiance - comfortable.
I recently joined Regus as a BusinessWorld member and have used their office/lounge at Berkley Square a couple of times now. It is a fantastic facility in a great location and it represents fantastic value given the low monthly charge that I pay - and it is great to know that I no longer need to cross my fingers and hope there is a table free in Starbucks every time I need a place to log on and send some emails in the West End !
When there is a problem, it is difficult to find someone to deal with it. Individuals appear to deal with one small aspect. If something is resolved then no-one communicates that fact. With access to one's bank account it is too easy for the company to issue invoices and collect money without explaining what it is for.
So far i have used Regus in Birmingham and London. I don't know if it is a strategy to put people off from using their computers although they are there but one can never pass the log in stage or just opening browser.
Only been in offices at Hatfield for just over three months, but my first impressions are very good. Professional staff who help to make the working environment very conducive to running a business. I've used a couple of the business lounges in the City, one Poultry was excellent and perfectly situated for my clients. Would be good to have a section on the Regus app for people to rate the Business lounges.
Regus Bracknell offers a very nice office environment, well situated and affordable for a small business like ours. The staff is friendly and always happy to help. Generally speaking, it is always clean, and room temperature is kept at a good level all year long (we have an internal office, not one by the window...). The only issue is with Wireless Internet, which sometimes plays up, so better to get wired internet. Mobile Telephony, at least with Vodafone, can be an issue in some offices, depending how far from the external wall you are situated.
I have a Goldcard that allows me to use any Regus business lounge worldwide. The lounges are welcoming, clean and well-eqipped, with a Mac for general use, powerpoints for your laptops, comfortable seating and free tea and coffee. The staff at the one I use at Broadgate in London are charming and friendly. I can walk into any lounge worldwide and expect to be made welcome. It is an eseential part of my business as I move around a lot. And it is ludicrously affordable, at around £1 per day. Don't tell everyone, though — I don't want the place to get too crowded...
I only use a small fraction of the services they can provide, but should my needs change I know the service would be equally as professional. I never have any issues and they do exactly as they've promised in my package, whilst meeting those extra unplanned needs when necessary. Their biggest asset in my opinion is the people they have on the front desk (Gloucester Docks), who ultimately handle any issues or requests and they never fail to be cheerful whilst doing it!
They are clean, well appointed, well located. Effectively a monopoly so the cost are at the top of what the market would bare. My experience is mostly London accommodation is a high standard where I go. My experience of the home counties areas is less quality but more "friendly" environments
