Excellent company with excellent products and excellent customer service

Everything is easy to order, is sent very quickly, and arrives nicely packaged. Anytime I need gear, they are the first ones I goto, and while the prices are usually the best, I would not hesitate to pay even a little more to get great service from them.

I like REI!

I have shopped @ REI for years. I like them. However, I do not like REI brand clothing as I feel quality control on their manufacture is lacking. Usely something goes wrong: either bad stiching, a faulty fastner, etc. I buyall of my sports gear from REI, I have big feet and years ago REI stocked large men's shoes. Now that women with small feet have taken over REI, there are few large sizes for men.

Excellent company

I've been a member since 1989 and have always been happy with my purchases. This is the first place I go when there is a need for camping or biking equipment.

A Huge Range

I truly massive range but be wary if you're European.

There's an excellent range of good quality goods here and a lot of which are genuine bargains, particularly considering the exchange rate. Some of the brands are not all that common in Europe though and actually some of the more commonly European stuff (like a Merrell fleece jacket) I think you could find cheaper this side of the pond, even considering the exchange rate.

Other than that though, there's some bargains here but mainly because of the £/$ exchange so keep a mince pie on it before buying.

Godt udstyr, perfekt system hjvor de tager egne varer retur, hvis de ikke lever op til forventningerne - også selvom man har ligget i et telt i 12 dage i en ørken. Udover egne varer har det mange kendte kvalitetsmærker. Der er næsten alt hvad man kan komme på af udstyr til ourdoor, rejse, aktiv sport osv. Ofte er der valgmuligheder i flere pris- (og kvalitets-) klasser på samme type vare. Deres helpdesk både på email og telefon er supereffektiv, de ved hvad de har på lager, hvornår det kommer igen, hvor lang leveringstid osv. Gode medlemstilbud. OG så får medlemmer 10% tilbage på årlig basis.
