I too have used Release Travel, booking a stag weekend to Ibiza. everything in the beginning looked good. Cheap, everythin organised we just pay money and turn up !


My suspicions arose when different Release Travels email addresses where used and then the only contact number was a mobile.


I almost paid the full balance, but was told that by Release Travel, that their card machine was down and I would need to pay direct into their bank account. Hmmm


After this I began checking review sites, this is when my suspicions where confirmed.


Time to be as sneaky as Release Travel are !! So after several emails, phone calls & google searches I tracked Daniel Landon down at The Stag & Hen Group. (this took several attempts, after lies "he doesn`t work here" and "never heard of him", but foolishly the staff slip up and references where made, between the 2 companies) that I was put through to him.


He originally said he didn`t own TSHG, also said my transfers where sorted. Backed down when I stated we hadn`t even given him our flight details. Suggested I stay with his company but change the booking to a seperate but secure company called PTS - another company affiliated to Daniel Landon.


Everything this guy says is lies, promised me a £200 refund within a week, surprise suprise this didn`t happen.


I managed to contact him again to query why this hadn`t happened, this is when he informed me he was closing Release Travel and that he woul refund me but not until end of May (6 weeks). The Stag weekend is end of May !!!!


He won`t give any phone number, says he doesn`t have a mobile but gave me ANOTHER email address !!!

Absolute set of low life lying, deceiving fraudsters!!

I run a portrait studio in Leeds.

One of the services we offer is a hen party for up to 12 girls with hair and make up.

On April 7th 2013 I was meant to have had a group of 10 girls to the studio

Release travel promised to have transferred the funds by BACS in to our account at least a week before the event.

Two days before the hen party funds had still not arrived. I tried calling release travel hundred of times to no avail

On the 6th of April I get a voicemail from a blocked number by some woman called 'Rachel' informing me the cheque (no cheque was ever mentioned) had been sent a week previously to my old studio address which is now a block of flats. No such cheque was there.

The day before the hen party the had booking client called me and had the same concerns as me.

They had arrived in leeds on Friday evening to be told the hotel they had booked had NOT been paid and they were all required to pay AGAIN!

I explained to the client that I had not received payment and was not willing to do the work which she completely understood. The client had now informed the police and a case of fraud is being investigated

Bizarrely, last week, a cheque arrived to our new address! Inevitably, this bounced when presented to the bank and we have been charged with an unpaid item fee.

To say that these people are a lying, fraudulent, dishonest bunch of thieves would be doing them a favour.

In over 15 years of being in business I have never witnessed a more purposeful and revolting sham as this ruining perfectly honest customers hard earned and important celebrations.

It would appear from research they have re branded as the hen and stag group (still based in Bournemouth) and will tell you otherwise.

I personally will not let some 2 bit cheap scamming organisation get away with this and will be reporting the situation to HM Revenue and customs, Department of Trade and Industry and Watchdog on BBC

Its one things going out of business in this very difficult climate and its another taking your clients and suppliers for a massive ride. Absolutely appaling behavior.

Whoever you are, you will pay the price BIG TIME/

I am absolutely shocked that Release Travel are still allowed to trade. I used the company 3 years ago and the same things that ppl are complaining about happened to me then.

I used the company to book 16 girls on a hen wknd to York in 2010. As the maid of honor I organised everything with Release from the November the year before (2009).
I had organised a spa weekend with dinner on the Friday at an Italian and Saturday at an Mexican. Spa day with treatment and 2 nights stay at a 3* hotel.

Like everyone has said nothing was paid for!

On the drive from London to York I had a call from the Marriott where we were having the spa day with called me as I had called them previously about changing treatments to inform me they hadn't received payment. I rang Release and they were horrified I had been contacted... I'm glad I was because I was fuming at Release on the phone. Thinking that was it- it wasn't it was only the start.

We arrived at the Italian for them to have no record of us dining with them... We were promised a table with decorations etc there wasn't anything of the kind. The restaurant was empty and hardly anything available on the menu. I showed the restaurant our booking emails with Release Travel and they said they were settle the bill with them.

The following my day we went to the Marriott thankfully they did receive payment but had said if they didnt we would've been turned away and to fair I don't blame them. Why should they lose out because of a ridiculous company like Release?!

In the evening we went to a Mexican in town. They actually had us booked in but when we were finished they asked us to pay the bill... A bill we had already paid for to release. Thankfully again the proprietor was at the restaurant i showed him the booking emails btw me and release and after about 30mins we were allowed to go on our way. He said would chase up the company.

Then we had free vip club entry at revolution bar- or so we thought with a free drink.... There was no booking of us and no free shot...

And then there was the hotel we stayed at. We were sent pics of a modern hotel to lure us in. In fact instead we booked into the ibis a 2* and not 3* as booked. Half the party was put in the refurbed side and the other half on the other dingy run down side of the hotel. It was disgusting.

I was left completely embarrassed by the whole ordeal. As the event organiser you don't expect things to be perfect but you do expect after 9months of planning that 1. You have bookings booked and 2. The bookings are paid for in good time.

It seems that once Release have your money and we paid £189 each they couldn't give a crap about you or your weekend.

It's totally shocking they are still trading the same way 3 years later. Please please please do not use this company. Nothing has changed.

I suspect that the good reviews are written by themselves because there is no way I would ever ever EVER recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemy. I reviewed them at the time on trip advisor and I also sent them a letter of complaint that got ignored. It was such bad service I have and will not forget it.... Utterly disgusting.

Once you break down the costs release made a pretty little profit on our group for doing nothing more than cause stress, embarrassment and total mortification.

Seriously if this gets picked up by watchdog I'd be happy to talk!

I've basically got the same story as everybody else...the hen party that I had booked for my friend has not been paid for by release travel and they are refusing to give us a refund! And surprise surprise I cant get hold of them! I contacted action fraud about a month ago when I first got suspicious and they said they hadn't received any other complaints about the company so the police are less likely to follow our complaint up and be able to get our money back but it looks like loads of other people have been scammed too!!

PLEASE REPORT RELEASE TRAVEL TO ACTION FRAUD!! Maybe together we can get something done about them and hopefully get our money back?!?

BIGGEST SHAM OF A COMPANY STAY AWAY

We booked with Release Travel for a hen weekend, experience was the same as everyone else on here. Once payment was made and booking was finalised we were told we would receive a detailed itinerary a few days before we go. The itinerary was never received, we had no details of accomodation, the timings or details of any of the activities booked, after attempting to call Release Travel countless times the week before and sending numerous emails we finally received an email from them the day before we were to set off - the email said that it was normal to get the itinerary a day before and that they were waiting for the details from the supplier. After managing to get through to the supplier direct they explained that they had not been paid by Release Travel and that they had cancelled our entire booking. So the day before we were to leave we had nowhere to stay and nothing planned to do. We had to then book separate accomodation and re-organise activities through the supplier direct which cost everyone more money.

Release Travel have still not responded to any of my messages, they are a complete joke of a company, the service was fine until they received payment. They are liars, crooks!!!!!!!!!

Please advise how we can get our money back. They need to pay for what they have done to all these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE TELL YOUR STORY TO WATCHDOG SO THAT OTHERS ARE PROTECTED AND MAYBE WE CAN ALL GET SOME MONEY BACK.

I booked my best friends hen do through release travel who failed to pay any suppliers. I investigated this myself before our event and in the end our accommodation was paid for but nothing else. I have not received a refund and had to pay out again for all the entertainment to make sure that the weekend went ahead as planned.

One of our suppliers confirmed that Release have now set up a new company called The Stag & Hen Group. I called this company and managed to speak to the same people I had booked with for Release and they had all my booking details in their system. I refused to get off the phone until I spoke to the Director, Daniel London. I spoke to Daniel who apologised and confirmed that I would be refunded for the entertainment they had booked. I have not received any such refund, as expected.

I hope Daniel and his team can sleep at night knowing that they have stolen thousands of pounds from people and their families.

Now however, if you call The Stag & Hen Group, the lady who answers will claim that she hasn't worked there long so doesn't know anyone's names and that Daniel London doesn't exist. I called the same number a few weeks ago and spoke to my booking agent and Daniel London so this is complete and utter rubbish.

I hope that this review will help to protect others. Thank goodness we managed to rescue our hen weekend and none of our party were any the wiser but if you want to protect yourself, do your research with your suppliers yourself. All will be very helpful and will confirm all of the above that Release are awful and The Stag & Hen Group are the same company.

Do not use this company!

I went on my hen weekend last June 2012 organised through Release Travel. My experience of the company up to the actual weekend was positive, they were helpful throughout the booking process and were happy to discuss our plans and make a few changes.

However, the weekend itself turned into a nightmare when we arrived for our cocktail making event, only to be told that this wasn't booked and the company had stopped working with Release Travel weeks ago due to difficulties they had experienced with them. We then checked our restaurant reservation for the evening only to discover the same applied with this too! Trying to get dinner reservations for a large group at such short notice in a place you don't know was not easy to say the least and was not how I expected to spend my evening. There were yet more problems the next morning when we were checking out of the hotel as they hadn't received payment for some of our rooms by Release Travel and expected us to meet the cost.

We have spent the last 9 months emailing and phoning Release Travel trying to get back the extra money we had to spend over the weekend for all the things we had already paid Release Travel for. We finally received a cheque last week to cover our additional expenses but surprise surprise, this has bounced!

So if you have recently been ripped off by Release Travel and are waiting for a refund, don't hold your breath!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I used this company to arrange my friends hen do. All seemed ok until I paid the final payment. Once they had received all the money they then told me there was a computer error and the venue we were using for the day activity we had choosen had not been booked and therefore they couldn't do it. They suggested another venue but we decided to arrange this ourselves. We asked for a refund for this part of the weekend which they said would be no problem. I have yet to receive a refund and they ignore all my emails and when you phone the number it goes directly to answer phone. I then decided to phone the hotel and the venue for the evening activity to double check our booking. They had our booking but nothing had been paid for and was told we would be expected to pay on arrival. As a result my friends hen do has been ruined and we have lost a significant amount of money as well as the fact we now have to arrange something else costing us more money. I have now reported the company to Fraud Action and I hope no one else will use this company again. I believe they are now also trading as <private data removed> although I can't confirm this. But if you do make an enquiry at Release someone from <private data removed> will phone you back which I think is a bit dodgy.

Report to Action Fraud

My hen weekend is booked for next month , after taking nearly a £1,000 in deposits we cant get any response from this company. The mobile number [Name] gave me now doesnt exist! The landline number constantly plays the same message 'due to the high volume of calls etc etc' regardless what time of day you call, even at 7 am in the morning.... Really???!!!! They are not answering emails...Speaking to the landlady of the hotel we were supose to be staying in apparently Release Travel are getting quite a name for themselves constantly booking hotels/activities and not paying!! If you too have lost money etc etc please contact ACTION FRAUD...

Release Travel - Awful is too good a word for them

My son arranged over 6 months ago a stag weekend for his friend in Brighton on 1,2 & 3rd March. Disaster - when arriving at the Hotel, the rooms had been booked but not been paid for. All the activities were booked and also not paid for. There were 12 boys on this stag weekend - all of whom had paid £189.00 each. Technically Release Travel have pocketed over £2,000 pounds. The weekend was ruined. After numerous calls and messages and emails they have not responded. I can only assume that they are having a good time spending the groups hard earned money. This is a disgrace I have contacted the police, trading standards and Watchdog. Please do not use them they will ruin your arrangements. I would like everyone to get together and get the money back - what do others think? Also please be aware they are now called the STAG AND HEN GROUP!!!!

I have just come back from a hen do yeaturday that I planned for my best friend.

We had the whole weekend booked since February last year. I had numerous problems two weeks before going as we were evidently booked to do things on the wrong dates!! Even though my confirmations all state the right date!!

I got to the hotel and got a text from ten saying due to another admin error we couldn't do out cocktail making class!! No phone call no response to emails wouldn't answer the phone!! So when I rang the cocktail bar the manager told me they had not been paid!! Although we had paid release!! We had to pay again to do the session. I was on pins the whole weekend!!

It was awful now release still arnt answering my calls or emails regarding this!!

Awful company do not use I'm going to citizens advice and a solicitor to get our money back!

Great Lead up and sale, customer service needs slight improvement

We had slight problems and alternatives were offered. We made the best of a 90% pre arranged stag weekend as the rep abroad was excellent.

We were offered compensation that has finally arrived, 4 months after agreeing.
Errors were noted and advice to release would be a phone line that connects you through to a team thats just as efficient as the sales team.

Has potential & thank you release for upholding the refund.
Blame is easy to direct at the tour company but as long as liability is accepted WHERE due I think all in all perfect! Just slow customer service post travel.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Booked my sister's hen night to Edinburgh through this company and they completely ruined it and let us down. Practically everything they said they had booked/organised they hadn't making it an extremely stressful weekend for the hen party.

After much letter writing, telephoning and emailing they agreed to pay a pitiful amount back to us but that was in September 2012 and we are yet to receive anything (Feb 2013) despite numerous contacts with the company.

This company should be banned from trading and investigated by a tour operator watchdog immediately!!

I had a completely unacceptable experience with this company. They provided nothing that they promised and have still to refund our group after promising one (similar to Sian below) way below what they actually owed us.

They are clearly a cowboy operation and not to be trusted.

DONT BOOK WITH THEM EVER!

We booked with Release Travel for 10 of us for a weekend in Benidorm at the LuxMar apartments (we booked our flights separately). The “accommodation” was awful and dangerous. We were expecting basic accommodation, however we at least thought it would be safe and secure. We were not comfortable in the whole three days we were there, being too scared to sleep since the doors did not lock properly and rooms were being broken into.

When we arrived at check in we were told we had to pay 100.00 Euro per room before we were allowed our keys. We were not made aware of this charge before we travelled, so had to take this out of our spending money. The furniture in the room could not of cost 100.00 Euro is was that basic!

The night before we arrived 8 rooms had been broken into, upon getting to our rooms we could see that our door had previously been kicked in and they had moved the lock up slightly so at least the door closed. We were told by a stag group not to pay for a safe as they were easily removable from the rooms and their room was one of the eight which had been broken into with the safe being taken as they are not secure on a wall just slotted into the wardrobe. Other safes were located in the main bar area however these had also been broken into despite being told reception was manned 24/7. Not once at night was a receptionist present.

We had three adjoining rooms and not one of the patio doors locked.

A note in the rooms advised that bed linen and towels were only cleaned once a week! (disgusting) all rubbish had to be taken out before check out and washing up done before we left, otherwise the deposit would not be returned.

Sunday morning upon leaving to check out, one of the two lifts was covered in blood, all over the floor and up the walls which meant it was un-usable. We told reception so that it could be cleaned up and they laughed but no attempt was made to even look at the lift.

The apartment costs £12 per night per person if booked directly = £24 (I asked reception), we were charged over £80.00 per person so they have made a hefty profit from our booking. Our orgainsed bar crawl did not happen as they guy didnt even show up.

I have since complained to Release Travel and they had agreed to refund me £131.00 (which is shocking) considering how much they made from us. However we accepted this amount back in August. I was told to allow 28 days for this refund. We are now in the middle of November and they are not responding to any of my emails. I have had to take this further with citizen advice. My advice to anyone is they are a rip off do not use them ever! It would be cheaper to book yourselves than pay for this company to "arrange" something when they have no customer service skills at all and are all about making money

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

I have had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life with this company. Please, please take heed and do not book with these con artists.

I was organising my sister in laws hen do to Ibiza and really shopped around, going to various different companies to try and get a good package and Release Travel 'sold me the dream' everything I asked for was no problem whatsoever and Carly who I spoke to initially couldn't have been more helpful.

I did read the negative reviews on here and this was playing on my mind leading up to our weekend which was a trip to Ibiza on 8th September. I had organised airport transfers and a booze cruise for the party, as well as three nights stay in San Antonio.

As soon as we got off the plane the problems started, I was given a mobile number if a guy called Ben who was supposed to be picking us up, he never showed up!! I called out coordinator who told me to get in a taxi and make our own way and we would be reimbursed when he came to take us back to the airport. Apparently Ben had "fallen asleep"!!!!

So anyway we jumped in taxis and forked out the money ourselves and arrived at our 'accommodation' ... This place wasn't fit for animals!!! It was falling to pieces and nothing worked. I was told there was a pool bar, which just happened to be closed the whole time we were there! The only plus side was that it was clean. It was incredibly noisy at night with random people banging on our door at all hours.

The Sunday was our 'booze cruise' and in the itinery it sounded brilliant! There was a picture of a packed boat with people dancing and generally having loads of fun. Everyone was really looking forward to this, however, when we arrived at the boat we actually found out it was an excursion around the island and there was families and older people on board, with no music whatsoever!! I was so so gutted. What company in their right mind would think that was ok for a hen party????

I felt so so let down and totally misold by this company. I wrote an email expressing my concerns, I got a reply basically telling me to deal with it, I replied saying that this was unacceptable. That was two weeks ago and I've not heard anything back.

This company ruined the hen weekend. There was 12 girls in total and we each paid £130, I totalled up what we actually should have paid had we sourced things ourselves and it worked out at just under 50euros per person. I understand they have to make money but seriously we were ripped off, misold, fobbed off and generally treated like rubbish.

Release Travel you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Addition to review

I was promised a £167 refund from Release on 5th October, they said I should allow upto 30 days - it's now 17th December and I've still not received anything, they are ignoring my emails and ignoring my request to speak to the managing director to resolve the matter.

I am looking into how I can take this further, this company should NOT be trading.

After reading other reviews, I cant believe we are talking about the same company. Hen weekend to Bournemouth was fabulous. The activities were great (photo shoot and limo ride) and I was kept up to date with clubs and bars in the area, even when i was there. Everything was organised and the bride and other girls had a fantastic time.

Great W/E had by all

Was really cocerned after reading some of the reviews on Release and also Fairmount Hotel However all 16 of us enjoted Accomodation and also the Oraganised events Release sorted out for us, we did have issues with Breakfast on the Sat Morn but i think that was a misunderstanding that was resolved by Free Beers thanks to the brill Hotel mangement
Big Thx to Carlee Walker for helping in organising the W/E would recomend to anybody as a great agent.

have had nothing but trouble with this company booking both the stag and hen for friends.
they have no honoured any of their agreements where if both booked each would go free, lost payments made, cancelled packages and wanted to pay more for the club closing down!
they have caused nothing but anxiety and stress!!! i could continue forever- however believe me.... DO NOT BY ANY MEANS EVER EVER BOOK WITH RELEASE TRAVEL!!!!!!

Newcastle Stag Do

The weekend was enjoyed by all, would definately recommend Release Travel to anyone who is looking to book a stag do as everything was covered from dinner and hotel to activities, great weekend

Fantastic

I would definately recommend Release Travel to anybody booking a stag or hen party away! I booked Leeds for a hen party and it was brilliant!.....Much more than what I expected. The hotel was great, full of atmosphere, everybody pleasant, rooms of a very high standard and the whole weekend was brill! We went quad biking through Release, had a meal pre-booked also a butler for the night!! Everybody came away having a fab weekend :-) I will be booking with Release in the future. Thankyou Lee for all of your work for arranging the weekend!!

Worried based on previous reviews but fab

I was really worried everything would turn out ok after reading a couple (not many) of bad reviews. Apart from the sales team, who I did feel where only after your money & would say anything for a sale (therefore make sure you have EVERYTHING in writing), It was absoultely fantastic!! Apartments were totally fit for purpose & perfect for a hen weekend, All activities bar one (Ghost Walk,which in fairness was down to the individual leading it & think we were just unluckly) were more than we expected & I would definately recommend release. Don't usually write reviews unless I've had a really bad experience but honestly feel we got more than our moneys worth out of the whole weekend. Thanks very much Release!

Activities (shooting, beer bike, bar crawl) all well organised

Carlee was really helpful from the outset and got back to me on any queries promptly.

Stag had a hell of a time and I will be booking with release again.

Stag in Blackpool

Ten of us had a good time in Blackpool. Guest house we was booked in was friendly and decent. The team was at Release was friendly and helpful. I would use these guys again.

Fab Hen Weekend!

I have just returned from a Hen Weekend in Bournemouth. I was tasked with organising the event and enlisted release Travel. I would definitely use them again. They organised a whole weekend package including dancing lessons and two meals, all for £139 each ! the accommodation was basic but clean , considering what we paid we couldn't ask for more.
The staff at Release travel were fab , after having to rearrange an activity they spent hours phoning and emailing and keeping me informed. Thanks for a great weekend Release Travel.

Tenerife Stag Weekend

thanks to Lee for arranging our long weekend to Tenerife. We stayed at Hotel Paradise in Los Cristianos which was amazing value at half the price i could get on-line - a great quality hotel with different pools (including a great roof top with bar, hot tubs and pool). Certainly recommend the hotels "all inclusive" as we hardly spent anything the whole weekend. A short taxi into Play de las americas saw a couple of good pub/club crawl nights too! For 11 guys to go so far for just 3 days it had to be good...but it was excellent! Cheers Lee!

Nottingham with "beer bitches"

10 of us went to Nottingham and had an awesome weekend all thanks to Release Travel and Lee!

The hotel was the Crowne Plaza in the city centre for 2 nights B&B and was fantastic both for facilitys and location. Lee also arranged a 2 course meal and 2 beers in Hooters on the Friday night, Grand prix karting Saturday afternoon and a great meal with beers at the Walkabout afterwards.........the highlight of the weekend was our "beer bitches" that Lee also suggested. Basically they are stunning girls that lead you around a bar crawl they have arranged while looking after your kitty and playing games with forfits for the losers. The girls kept the group together and made sure nobody got lost/left behind and at the end of the night gave us the remained of the kitty and reciepts for everything spent.

I would have no problem using release travel again as the whole weekend was great value at £199 each and went off perfectly........a huge thanks to Lee and the team at release travel!!!

Amazing Hen Do weekend in London

Had an amazing weekend away in London for my hen do, Molly was fab and sorted everything out for me. Would highly recommend company and Molly,will definately use them again in the future.

A Fabulous Brighten Hen Weekend!

We have just returned from a great weekend in Brighton organised by Release Travel! Molly our Account Manager was really helpful, listened to what we wanted and came in within budget! Something that no other company was able to do!

The weekend itself was really good, the hotel, restaurant and spa bookings all went without any problems and were very enjoyable!

I cannot thank Molly enough for her help!!

Was an amazing weekend, and we have amazing memories of my best mates hen weekend!

Right down to the Stag do, If your planning a stag and have never done this before this is the man you need to speak to. This guy arranged 3 nights for 10 guy's in Prague. Shooting ak47's, shotgun's, pistols everything along with a guided bar, night club and strip club tour, and even an girl on girl boat show. Even the airport transfers went without a problem.The days and nights all went so fast it was an epic experence. It will be something that everybody who attended will be talking about for a very very long time.

Great admin

Just returned from weekend in Benidorm organised by Ria at release travel and we all had a great time. Hotel was basic but clean, we were fully inclusive and our meals were at a different hotel about 100 yards away but the short walk was well worth it, the meals were very very good, probably one of the best i have stayed at for a budget weekend break. Slight problem with the private transfers but this was out of ria,s remit so no blame is attached to release travel for that.
Will be using Release travel again.

Awful Admin, Only interested in taking your money!

My sister booked my hen weekend in Bath through Release Travel. The Sales Agent Molly was very attentive right up to confirming the booking - and taking the money. As soon as the money was paid to Release the booking was passed over to their admin team. Due to costs of hotel in Bath we decided to stay in Bristol, but have our evening meal and club night in Bath. A restaurant was chosen in Bath. A week prior to my hen a friend checked the online itnerary to find out that the restaurant we had chosen wasn't booked. My sister rang up the next working day to find out what had happened. After a few phone calls and being passed from one person to the next we were told that our restaurant of choice was fully booked, so they had simply chosen an alternative on our behalf - but had failed to tell us of the change. The alternative restaurant was not liked by us so we tried to choose another one - only to be told that because it was only a few days before the actual hen weekend they were also full! Release travel admin couldn't really care less - as far as they were concerned they had our money. To cut a long story short we compromised on going to the original restaurant chain in Bristol rather than Bath. We went there, had a lovely meal, and when we came to pay the bill were told that the meal had NOT been paid for! The manager was called and we spent a good 30 mins talking to him to try and sort it out. In the end my sister had to pay for the meal on her credit card - even though we had all already paid Release Travel for the meal. My sister will get her money back - but the whole evening was completely ruined and will always be remembered for the meal payment mess up. I would not recommend Release Travel to any one of my friends who are organising a hen do. Do it yourself - you know what is going on, and aren't relying on a company who is only interested in taking your money and no after sales service. Shame on you Release Travel, and thank you for ruining my Hen.

Update 24.08 - My sister rang Release on Monday 22nd to let them know what had happened. The admin team said that the MD of Release Travel Dan Landon (?) wasn't in the office, but she assured her that he would call her back on Tuesday 25.08. No call yesterday...let's see if they care that we've paid twice and are now having to chase them to get payment back and a much needed apology. I wander if anyone from Release Travel is actually reading their reviews, or like I suspect don't give a dam now that they have our money. If the option for 0 stars was there - this is what I would give them.

Update - 29th August. My sister has now spoken to the MD after calling up every day he eventually spoke to her on Thursday 25th August. They have now assured her that she will receive her money back.

Hen Weekend in Nottingham

Thank you to Release Travel for organising a fantastic Hen weekend for me and my friends. Especially to Ria who kept in constant contact letting me know what was happening every step of the way. The hotel was fantastic and to a very high standard. The trip was organised, food was fantastic and booze was flowing - Brilliant. I would recommend this site to anyone the stress of organising is dealt with by the Release Team! Thank you!

Amazing Stag Do Bornemouth!!

I got the job of organising a stag do for 15 guys and after searching the net for hrs i went with Release travel and dealt with Ria Inwards who was amazing.

We paid £180 each for :

2 Nights in Bournemouth stopping at Tiffanys Hotel - After looking at the hotel on the net i thought oh no .... but when we got there it was amazing perfect location to get into the city centre and the owner was great he catered for all our needs and even got up early to do our breakfast so we could have it before our activities.

Half day paintballing which was really good followed by Clay shooting , Human Table Football, Rage buggying and blind 4x4 driving this was at max events which was really organised and the guys looking after our group were amazing.

Booking through Ria at release travel made my life so easy ...everything that was promised was there and all on time with no problems at all... i would not hesitate to call Ria again and book another weekend away with her.

We booked half a day coasteering for the friday when we got there off our own backs which was amazing if you want to get the adrenaline pumping i would recommend this at £40 per head its a steal!!

Thanks Ria for an amazing weekend which we all enjoyed and are still talking about now.!!!
