Not sure that they will ever get the right part

On 29 January I booked a repair for my dishwasher.
On 3 February the engineer arrived at 7.15pm, examined the dishwasher and said that it needed a new water pressure part.
A few days later I received a call to tell me that the part had arrived and another visit was booked for 13 February.
On 13 February I received a call to say that all the parts had not arrived so the engineer wouldn't be coming.
Week commencing 17 February I phoned the Service Section and was told that the part still had not arrived.
Week commencing 24 February I phoned the Service Section again to see what was happening and was told that the part had arrived. So another appointment was made for 3 March.
On 3 March the engineer phoned at 7.00pm to say that he had been delayed. He phoned again at 9.00pm to say that he had nearly finished the job that he was working on. I told him that a visit at that time of night was too late. We agreed that he would come the next day.
On 4 March the engineer arrived at 11.00am. After a short while he told me that he could not complete the work as he had been given the wrong parts. He said that he would let me know what was happening.
On 5 March, as I hadn't heard anything, I phoned the Service Section and was told that the parts were on order.
Later my wife phoned the Birmingham Section and was told that the parts were on order but they seemed to have no knowledge of parts previously having been ordered. Which is clearly shown on the Visit Details form which is updated by repaircare, and is in fact incorrect.
My feeling is that the wrong part were ordered in the first place, although no one will admit this, which means that 4 weeks have been wasted.
On 3 February the payment was taken from my Bank Account yet the dishwasher still hasn't been repaired. I feel that I have been let down by repaircare and now wonder whether the correct parts will ever arrive.
I would like to add that the engineer has be polite and courteous throughout.

Good service but could be better

Would have preferred to have had engineer repair my oven on an evening or at the weekend. Everyone in my household works. I had arranged for my daughter to take some time off work to be in for the engineer. We were notified the day before he would not be coming until the following week. Someone else had to arrange time off work to be at home. Otherwise very happy with the engineer and the repair.

Extremely well thought out and customer friendly service

It was so easy to get a quote and then you only pay this there are no hidden costs on top,

Dreadful Service - Not Acceptable

I was looking for a repair to my dishwasher - came upon Repaircare and some reasonable reviews on Trustpilot - as somebody who is time poor rather than do loads of ringing around and waiting in I thought I would give them a go - duly paid £139 for their service - back in December 2013. Its February 2014 now, end of Feb actually and I am still waiting for my dishwasher to be repaired - the parts required are coming from the manufacturer apparently - I was prepared to let Xmas period go but considering I could have flown to the moon and back 10 times I think I am waiting just a little bit too long for the completion of this job - especially as you still have my £139 and I have had to date zero service value. What annoys me more than anything is that I keep getting dates for the parts being in and dispatched to the repair guy - everytime I ring to check if the parts are in I am told ANOTHER week - now its then 28th Feb then another 2 days at least before they get to the guy, then he has to arrange an appointment so realistically I am looking at early March - thats nearly 3 months without a machine. Its not acceptable and whenever I ring up the staff are courteous enough but not interested/powerless to change the situation. You may say okay this isnt life threatening I know its not but I am extremely angry as if I had have know it would take this long and take so much of my time to chase I wouldnt have bothered and would have gone elsewhere or gone for broke and bought a new machine - I EXPECT A RESPONSE.

Came on time - fixed the problem - no hassle

I have used repair care on a number of occasions- in all cases they have arrived on time, fixed the problem to my satisfaction and have always had the correct part to hand.

Total lack of service

I booked and paid for a repair to my oven and duly received an email confirming the date. I waited in all day and nobody turned up and I received no phone call. I sent them a message first thing next morning. A couple of hours later I got a phone call from the contractor who was supposed to handle the repair. He wanted to book a day in a weeks time. I asked him where he was yesterday. He got nasty and asked me whether I wanted the repair done in a week or not. I said not.
I rang repaircare and simply got offered an appointment in a week. No explanation for the no show and no attempt to get anything done earlier. I demanded my money back and cancelled the whole thing.
Do not use this company!

they came, they fixed the cooker, just like that!

The clock on the cooker had gone, and when switched on the beeper sounded continuously. I rang the company, told them of the problem, and was given a fixed fee quote that sounded very reasonable. They arranged the date within a week, the engineer came on the day agreed, had the part, and fixed the cooker without any problems.

feel ripped off

Had to wait 2 weeks for my oven to be repaired.
£150 for 30mins work and just a new elimate needed.

Problem sorted.

Two short visits from the engineers and the cooker was as good as new. The first engineer took less than five minutes to find the problem. A second engineer came three days later, with the necessary parts, and fitted them in less than fifteen minutes. I was very pleased with the service.

professionally carried out

Satisfied with service dissatisfied with price

Couldn't believe the actual price of the part for my cooker . It took the engineer seconds to fit it, feel cheated. Don't get me wrong the young man was charming and did a good job, however it could have fitted the part myself after I saw him fitting it!!!

Repair care came on time, identified the problem and fixed it fast and efficiently!

The repair man came to diagnose the problem with our smeg dishwasher and identified a split in a hose as the route of the issue and promptly ordered the part and replaced it the following day with no fuss.
I would recommend this service to anyone. Brilliant!

Mend It Man was on time,polite,knowledgable,friendly.Even pointed out I should ring Bosch about my dishwasher as it may be a fault recall model.He came to repair my cooker !!!!
