I call up a stupid 0845 number and end up spending loads of money trying to talk to somebody that:
a) had no clue about their own company
b) spoke with a terrible accent, which was hard to understand
c) wasted nearly 30 minutes with no resolution
Idiots. Go Zoopla!
Good website overall however but your competitor allow more informations for each house on their website like you can filter by most reduced, most popular, .. you can even when the price has dropped and how much, when was the last sale and how much, how long this house is on the market, the number of views since maketed, as well as the last 30 days number of view, and more important a tool to estimate your house min, max, average,,, that is a shame all of these usefuls datas to position a house on the market is not included or available to all users in your website.
Been looking at moving for last couple of years but not found what I'm looking for just yet. Rightmove make searching that much easier by informing me when a new property comes on the market in the area I'm searching, within my price range and without having to leave my chair. I can also view a street plan of the property to check on the surrounding area and also see how much the property was previously sold for and when.
Very Informative and easy to use
Yes I am nosy and love to know what the properties are going for in my area, its great too for seeing what is out there that is beyond our reach (someday maybe eh) easy to use and good clear images! Great property site all at the click of a button!
I'm addicted to this site. I love looking at property and this gives me my fix. I've found some amazing places on here - it's so useful. If I'm moving to a part of the country I don't know, I use their map search, which helps locate where the property is in relation to shops, main roads, etc.
Now we have zoopla for previous sold prices back to 1995 and by using rightmove with the propertybee firefox addon you can see a history of changes made to the property listing which can be very revealing!
The draw a search area function is fantastic too. Rightmove seems to have become so ubiquitous there is no need to search anywhere else when house hunting, it'll be on rightmove a day or two after it hits the market at most.
That's all this company seems to try and sell, whether you're eligible or not. And while we're at it, why do 55+ folk pay so much less for their homes?
I wouldn't mind a 2 bed flat in Surrey for £80k? I don't play loud music or anything so what's with the discrimination? Might take this up with the courts...
Even E-Mailed 'em to say that I wasn't eligible for their 'Deal of the Week' and I still effing get them!

I use this website almost daily when looking for a new home. I would make of criticism I would love to search by drawing an area on the map or refining area's I would like to avoid (known hotspots for crime, or area's I know to be undesirable).
Rightmove helps you find properties anywhere in the UK. It collects information from almost every estate agent in the country and allows you to get an insight of properties from your own computer. I have used rightmove on many occasions. You can search by price, area, number of bedrooms and property type. It is a very useful tool when looking for a new house.
